Lots of customizability. For sequels, they can allow you to import a savegame so they know how your character was. And if you just play the sequel without having played the original, they could either use a preset or a random character.

I'd prefer KotOR3 to be very similar to the other two, in graphics and gameplay, to get a true feeling of a trilogy. So that would mean no Xbox 2. They can use Knights of the New Republic for that.
