Go ahead, i want this thread to be at least 25 pages long I tried the tutorial campaign last night, and while i won every one of the three fights i fought, it wasnt due my superior tactics or leadership, it was because i just attacked with everything i had . Looks like i have a lot to learn. The empire management seemed promising, too. I'll play some more tonight.

Also I've heard a lot about the Total Realism mod. How does it compare to the original game? Is it worth getting, and if it is how long should i play the game without it?

So i've been reading about this game a lot and decided to get it today. Should I Install both expansions right away? Also some tips would be appreciated, as i'm new to the Total War series having only fiddled with Shogun back when it came out.

Hmm, maybe i should check out R:TW. I Liked Shogun back in the day. And my comp will likely not be abled to run Medieval 2.

I wish i knew how to do that, i tried fiddling around with DLTCEP, but i dont know how to change the resolution. Maybe i could convert the pictures to .tif and do it in photoshop though.. Any ideas anyone?

I've never been able to get it to install properly. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Neither have I, though to be fair I've only tried once. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've tried every single time I've had the urge to play BG1, and each time it doesn't seem to install properly. <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> EasyTuTu fixes that, the old version was a real b1tch.

how did you set the game resolution and refresh rates for bg2? we always gotta does manual... go into ini. and looks for the Resolution and Display Frequency lines under the Program Options portion and alter so that they match your monitor's display settings. if that not help then we got no idea. HA! Good Fun! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Display is at 1600 and Frequency at 60, which are correct as far as I know.

For some reason when i'm playing above 1024x768, all the menus are 640x480. This is really annoying, since i just got a new monitor that supports resolutions up to 1600x1200. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance. Some pics:

Hard-boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Haruki Murakami. A nice mixture of SF and Fantasy, all set in Tokyo. Murakami is my fav author nowadays.

Should i play Splinter Cell 1 and 2 before starting Chaos Theory? I just bought it but now i'm thinking i might miss some crucial plot points if i do. Is it as story heavy as the Thiefs? Or the Metal Gears? Or is it more like the Hitman series?
