  1. Tried to replay Fallout 3 but got bored with it quickly. I didn't notice the bad writing in the first playhtrough so badly, but now I can't stand it for some reason. Also funny how a half year ago I though Fallout 3 looks splendid and now it already looks a bit dated....Hmm.
  2. I'm looking more forward to this than Dragon Age.
  3. Which gives me hope that maybe Obsidian will give us a real Baldur's Gate sequel some day. Bioware obviously isn't able to do that anymore. They're now too rad and **** and stuff.
  4. So, I got rid of my DS the other day and aquired a manly PSP instead, along with God of War and Metal Gear Solid. Haven't regret it so far. I'm also itchy for something RPG-ish/Strategy, so the only stuff that would be available would be either Jeanne d'Arc or Final Fantasy Tactics. Which one is better, and why? I'm leaning towards jeanne d'arc because FF is a matter of taste, but I never played the Tactics series so perhaps it is good after all. Any opinions are welcome.
  5. I also see it says October 20th as release date. That's just great. Alpha Protocol, DA and Br
  6. Yeah, plus the animations look totally horrible from the video. Looks like they have taken the space marines straight out of DoW2. But whatever. Only thing I'm interested from Relic right now is Homeworld 3.
  7. Well I think the game is gonna suck anyway, because 1) it's not ARPG, but Hack & Slash and 2) only Obsidian could make a good WH40K RPG.
  8. Looks like Gears of War set in 40K. No RPG there.
  9. What required patches? I just kept my Windows up to date, with all that post-SP1 fixes and stuff. Perhaps that's why SP2 refuses to install? I don't get it.
  10. This sucks. I really wonder what is going on at Obsidian with all the leaves and new hires. People are vanishing so fast, that can't be a good thing.
  11. For some reason SP2 fails to complete the installation on my PC. Then it reverts automatically back to SP1.
  12. Screw comics. I want my bloody manly AvP.
  13. I also saw a pimple on his face. I'm not goona buy the game now. Geez, did someone put sand in your schnaaschnaa this morning? I was actually slightly positive about it. Maybe you should understand on how Scandinavian culture works, nothing is ever awesome, ever. If something does not suck enough or is considered ok, it is 'good' from central european standards, and Dragon Age-thisisthenewsh*t-awesome from north american standards I subscribe to the same Scandinavian cynicism. After all, Estonia has always been the wannabe Scandinavian state, we even have a Finno-Ugric language... Well thanks for the insights guys, but I wasn't really asking for scandinavian mentality. I just noted that picking a game on little details is really dumb, because a flawed masterpiece can still be a masterpiece, after all. And don't get me started how cynic Austrians can get... Peace. Happiness. Heavy Rain.
  14. Sounds like this will be a winner. The balance of the three species will make or break the game. I'm also curious how the multiplayer mode will turn out. I remember playing AvP2 MP a lot in the past.
  15. A bit WoW, AoC, WAR, and that's it I think. None of these have really grasp my interest for longer than 10 days, and I doubt any future releases will change that, including TOR.
  16. Uhm, no, you can directly control your character during gameplay. From what I understand, you don't directly navigate the character, but rather look at a direction and then walk to this direction. I think that's a bit more natural than navigating the whole body. Anyways, HR turns out to be an enjoyable experience, something different. I'm picking this up at release day.
  17. Don't worry, you can also directly control your character. It's not just QTE's. And I don't think graphic realism is the goal of HR, rather it's to tell a deep story in it's own unique way.
  18. I also saw a pimple on his face. I'm not goona buy the game now.
  19. Heavy Rain gameplay "Mad Jack" HD Interview video with David Cage Eurogamer Hands-On I remain excited.
  20. Still playing Little Big Planet. For some stupid reason, I'm stuck in the Mexican level. Always fall down on some spikes.
  21. That reminds me, I never played any of the Monkey Island games. Do they run on Vista? And how many of these are there anyways?
  22. Yeah, I hope they manage to tell the story completely cutscene-free through ingame-talks and events.
  23. Neither do I think Obsidian is allowed to give away any details without greenlight from Bethesda.
  24. They nailed the lighting perfectly. Lighting is imo the most important thing graphics wise for an Aliens game.
