I must say Risen still looks good and bad. Good because it reminds me of Gothic 2, and bad because it doesn't add anything new.

Heh, the funny thing is, when I played F3 the first time it didn't give me the impression of horrible writing. But once I finish a game, I get bored with it and I move on. Now I couldn't stand re-playing Fallout 3 anymore, part of it because of the lame writing. Hope Obsidian knows how to do it right!

Well it surely is the most interesting game id has made so far, so yes, I'm gonna pick that up too at release. I just hope they keep supporting the PC version with mod tools. I wanna play around with the editor.

I think the look of the game is already an established subject, but what about the actual game story/RPG elements? Do we know something substantial about that? I need more info, a single trailer alone doesn't really help a lot.

Rage doesn't really look any better than Doom3/id Tech4. Blame the consoles that hold back advanced graphics. Other than that, it should be fun to play.

I see. The problem lies with 2 - 2 - 1 combination of items. 2 rudders, 2 crystals and one compass lead to blocking this quest. Some other combinations seem to block it as well. So if you want to continue to play, just pick up the missing item so that you have at least a 2-2-2 combination. Petzolt will still say you haven't all items, but that doesn't matter. Talk to Sepp and you can be off to Aleroth.

Can't remember Drakan anymore, but combat in Div2 as a Dragon is very simple. You press LMB, dragon spews fire. Press "1", and you get an extra strong charge of fire that slowly reloades. You can't attack ground enemies.

Suffice to say, you're gonna die a lot early in the game.
