Venetica is out today, but I haven't bought it yet. I'm now carefully observing the official forums.... So far it seems like the game is buggy, but very good.

The game was supposed to come out in Feb. 2009. They had more than enough time to polish it.

Well looks pretty good, at least the cinematography is a major step forward. Combat however is typical ME1: Brutish and flawed. But I can live with that.

Apparently you can do that while transferring your saves. I'm still thinking about getting the steam version of ME, since ME2 will be released on both PC&360 simultaneously. You know that the retail version of ME is by now a lot cheaper than the Steam version?

Same here, only virmire to go before mu relay. Just to be clear - ME2 doesn't require to have ME1 savegames, right? What advantage do I have if I use ME1 savegames in advance?

Too much baseless nitpicking in this preview. Alpha Protocol is what it is - by now you should get an idea what you can expect. Like it and buy it, or don't.

I seem to remember that a while back Feargus answered a bunch of community questions once in a month. I wonder why this isn't being continued anymore? Sure he's a busy man and all, but hell, I'd love to see him drop by maybe once in a month and chat a bit about what's going on at Obsidian, the games etc.

Well, the game's mission based, so it should be technically possible to do a demo. But I doubt there will be one. Obsidian is too busy finishing the actual game.

The modern-day setting, bound with the cool and humorous characters, and of course the excellent writing quality from Chris Avellone. I mean everything he touches turns into gold.

Never finished the original Stalker, even though I overall liked it. Mafia...well, I just looked at screenshots, and it looks pretty dated, so I'll wait for Mafia 2. Probably skip Clear Sky too, and maybe I get Venetica next week instead. Or not. I've bought too many cheap games just to figure out that I don't like them. Not this time though.

Oh damn I just saw my game store still has 3 copies of Mafia - for 6.99

I wanna keep my Mafia fix fresh - so I'll wait for Mafia 2.

I just saw that my game store offers Stalker: Clear Sky for 11.99
