  1. CryEngine 3 showcase Mass Effect pretty non-console non-crappy version:
  2. It's that time again.... Obsidian - The Awesome, the good, the bad, the ugly: The Awesome: Fallout New Vegas NWN2: MotB The Good: Kotor 2 Alpha Protocol NWN2 The Bad: Dungeon Siege 3 The Ugly: NWN2: SoZ Bioware: The Awesome: Baldur's Gate 2 Mass Effect 2 The good: BG1 Kotor 1 JE DA:O+A DAII ME1 The bad: - The ugly: - R00fles!
  3. Bioware really has to stop making this LARPING bull**** DLC stuff and get back making manly moody dungeon romps.
  4. Just bought a Batman Arkham City key for 20 EUR. Is there already an official relese date? Last I heard November...
  5. Oh please, don't call these "challenges". Other than that, yeah, DNF was a simple and okay game, but charging full price for this was a blatant ripoff. Gladly, I didn't have to.
  6. Let's get back to the "hard" sciences, shall we? Britons don't wash their hands when leaving the toilet Un-f-believable. I mean that they even make studies on this.
  7. Some new sexy Syndicate screenshots Love the character details. Wish Obsidian or Bethesda could model such authentic faces.
  8. Batman Arkham City is getting rave reviews: http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/batman-arkham-city
  9. Yeah, right. Reading science articles all day makes you understand things so much better than us plebs.
  10. How boring. Indeed. But then again, most introduction levels are too easy/boring.
  11. You and everyone else. But you'll be unique among them, with that particular combination of chin depth and eyebrow distance that the character generator provides. I'd play trooper, if I was going to play this. I'd play a Jedi 'cause that would mean I win automatically!
  12. Tornquist probably changed personality a couple times in the meantime and maybe he even isn't interested in TLJ3 anymore?
  13. Stopped playing Demon's Souls for now lest suffering mental breakdown - and I mean that as a compliment. It's just....when you start hearing yourself talking in your deep sleep "Hey....yess, ...you, 24, catch the red armour!", I know I shouldn't play games at night that are so... intensive? So I'm gonna play something more relaxing, like Doom 3. In the meantime id and AMD are maybe gonna release another driver/patch when I get started with Rage.
  14. Shadowrun Online announced MMO? Browsergame? I think I just threw up a little bit in my mouth. But don't worry, I swallowed it down again and I'm okay now, in case your worried about me.
  15. That those countries already have/or soon will have a rapidly growing old population? As I said before, a) not enough processing power yet to have a robot do flexible and autonomous work on "his" own yet, unless you get a human brain to work with the signaling (which would cause a lot of ethic questions and bruarahah) and b) right now it seems challenges pertaining to mechatronics/electrical engineering/battery life etc. make it almost impossible to let a robot do all the physical work in a satisfying way. No point to carry grand-grandma up the stairs, put her on the toilet, watch that nothing goes wrong, put her up, wipe her ass, carry her down, cook lunch, etc. when the stupid thing already fails at getting up the stairs without loosing balance or another gazillion issues. Not in this decade...but perhaps still in this century? (OMG I'm now an optimist too).
  16. Perhaps I should photoshop a facepalm on his forehead too in order to get the point?
  17. Bethesda really has some problems with keeping the color palette and environments diverse. Oblivion was green, Fallout 3 was brown, now Skyrim is grey. I wonder which color their next game will be?
  18. But that's because he's surrounded my women! They force him to do it! Yes! In German there's a word for that (Gruppenzwang). What's the English term for this?
  19. So, Tim co-founded Carbine but left and now is a programmer peon for some other company again. I don't follow that logic. Founders of (succesful) companies usually don't leave and work for someone else. Unless Tim saw the writings on the wall and knew WildStar would kill Carbine.
  20. But then they wouldn't need a female full-time writer army anymore. Think of the jobs!
  21. Oh, and why is that? id hired some Hollywood writer for Doom 3 to write the story...well? The result was a joke. But the game itself still oozled with atmosphere. Companies should play out their strengths, not try to waste their time and energy on things they have no expertise in.
