The start of this discussion was that many on the bio boards thought they weren't optional but essential. If you saying there is an anti-gay sentiment here, I pretty sure your wrong.

It's not fair, but neither is life. I want to play the villain in almost every game I play, the closest that's come to it is Overlord. You like Grunt and Saggers? I did say gay later on, nothing to do with terminology, that's just the word that poped into my head.

Back to DA now and apparently an IGN reviewer has completed DA:O and comments that it's bigger them BG1 (can't remember how long that exactly was) has a 'dizzying' amount of choices and wants to start again with another character. The problem with the bio boards, is that they seem to think romances are the main part of the games, which they aren't IMO, instead of the nice rp extra they're supposed to be. Mind you DG seems to be of the opposite opinion, but he's not on the ME2 team.

Wait for the free trial. If and that's a big if I try it, that will be how.

Of course it will be subscription based.

The devil is in the details, so I applaud you Obsidian. I agree that is surprise, but a good one. Hopefully there are those sort of details throughout the game.

But you could holster them. This is a joke right? So you've made a spy game, where blending in with your surroundings isn't a feature? What about that Embassy level where you can talk the guard into letting you in, you do that with your M16 out?

Well Gothic 3 had this problem too, so I wouldn't be surprised if Risen had it. I don't think Gothic 2 had this problem though, but it's been so long since I played it I could be mistaken.

Quoted for truth. But add NMA and the codex to the list, hell add almost every game forum in existence. Sure sometimes there will be a diamond suggestion amongst all the muck, but is really worth the smell you come out with afterwards? I think devs as a whole for better or worse don't.

Well it was a fairly interesting 3 minutes of gameplay.
