I find the bold part particuarly funny, because everyone is biased, be it you, Volourn, me, or the high paid game journalist over at some such magazine. Everyone has there own set of likes and dislikes which they are going to apply to the game they are playing. This comment is just a joke. What the hell is a serious RPG player? Someones choice of RPG makes their opinion worth less then yours? That is a statement that would make most people question the value of your judgement. I doubt it. But it could be financially successful and not match up to the expectations of some git in EA marketing section. That's a bigger worry. But that was Biowares mistake given EA's record of killing all creativity. EA has actually got a lot better in recent times. Activision is the new bad guy. If we are going to judge games quality on sales then ME or NWN are the best selling western RPGs. Reviews point pretty much the same way(With everything from Bio and Obsidian being more 'critically acclaimed' then TW.). What you have is an opinion, no more or less valid then anyone elses.

They did say it could be just an Xbox Arcade remake. So I'll wait before I start doing the happy dance.

Depends on what you look for in a RPG. If you enjoy a strong story with with interesting NPCs no it's not. If you like to create your own party and explore, then yes it is.

I'm not too sure on the dialogue stance method, I think it takes what ME did and further takes away knowledge of what you are going to say. At least with ME you partially knew what was going to come out of Shepards mouth, even if what happened after surprised you.(Asari consort conversation) With AP we know when we select intimidate stance, he's going to do something not so nice, but have no idea what he's going to say. I'm not particularly found of either method really, but I prefer having some knowledge however small, then remain ignorant when selecting a stance. But having said that, AP dialogue stance might surprise me.

I just picked up AOC for $15 and Warhammer for $35. Time to see what all the fuss is about.

In fact of all Biowares games, JE had the most varied and unusual cast, yet many seem to dislike it and did the worst in sales.

You could hold off on the ME2 pre-order, its not out until next year. Also if you really like collectors editions, DA is supposedly going to have a Bioware edition which might be better then the collectors. Of course this assumes they are going to be available in your region.

It needs others/groups to be completed, despite rumors and talk to contrary. I still held out hope (absurd as it may be), that the game could be played/completed without others, after reading the FAQ, I realized it wasn't going to happen. I didn't mean to imply that it would be crap/generic, in fact I think it will be a pretty good MMO.

While that video was interesting, doesn't change the fact it is still an ordinary MMO, no matter how they try and spin it and that fact, still makes me want to cry.

Well tried the trainers, set xp 999, set skills to 200, killed a rat no level up. Tried the one that freeze S.P.E.C.I.A.L at the creation screen, again no luck. Falche won't open the save files.

Anyone know of any trainers/save game editors that work with gog version? Tried all of NMA and none worked.

Played the demo, found out it was Resident Evil in name only.

Normally I tend to not bother with CE, but since this has the soundtrack (hopefully containing the old websites Origin music) and Shale DLC, I will pick it up. Assuming Aussies don't get shafted and get the lite version sent out here. Also its now know that Inon Zur is the composer of DA:O.

Personally I'm glad there isn't, SP parts almost always get shafted when MP get added. Unless its Valve.

I would be surprised if there is anything more to the 'romance' then a one night stand.
