  1. Bio's post-release support is pretty good Cheers MC Apparently not so good if you own MEPC.
  2. My point was that MMO's aren't the real reason for SPRPG releases becoming more sporadic. But went off topic, hey it happens.
  3. So thats what 15-20% os sale were on PC. Not that great. I know, I was one of them. Hell it was the main reason I bought one. Then PC gamers shouldn't be surprised why so many dev go multi and/or completely ignore PC. Really those games are a anomaly. Best not to try and understand.
  4. There are many, many gamers that think Oblivion/FO3 are gold. As I said before the reviewers are not alone in their view.
  5. How many of them on PC? ME has sold in total 2.2 million on the 360, I don't think it even made 500,000 on PC. While there is a chance to sell on the PC(Just look at the Sims 3 already sold 3.7 million) it's not as consistant as it is on consoles. DA will be the best test, there are no excuses for it not to sell better on PC.
  6. That would be true if FO3 and Oblivion had no fans that loved them, but there are millions that do. There are far more that agree with those reviews, then those that don't. That's why I don't believe every reviewer that scored those game high were bribed, but I be honest with you, I don't really take reviewers scores and use them to buy games. They are for an interesting read nothing more. When a game like big truckers(or whatever its called) gets a 90% average then I will agree with you.
  7. Its success is just another nail in the coffin of single player RPG games. Not that they will cease to exist, but we could have done without Biowares SW MMO and played KOTOR 3 or something of that sort. What is it then? MMO's cause some nails, but what really causes it is, people not buying them. The Witcher a game you are so fond of sold what, 1 million. I don't think NWN2 and its expansions did that well either, neither did Mass Effect. Why I don't know, for whatever reason (some peole with very big heads will chip in here about quality) RPGs/FPS don't sell that well on PC anymore. You watch DA:O, AP and Risen will all sell better on the consoles despite being better on PC. I think a possible reason for PC games not selling well, is because all of us PC gamers are on forums posting, instead of going out and buying games.
  8. Let's be clear here, I couldn't care less about which game gets what score. Your the one that needs your opinion agreed with by a reviewer otherwise they are obviously bribed. But you don't honestly believe the Witcher has more fans then Oblivion, because if you do, you should got to a little forum called ESF. You don't get any more rabid fans then them and they will set you clear on the issue. In the end, all those user votes tell me, is that there are more Witcher fans with too much time on their hands, that care too much about what others think about their favourite game. Open votes that allow anyone to vote and to possibly do it multiple times are never fair.
  9. User reviews = Fanboys & Haters. You will never get a fair average score/vote.
  10. Well the Witcher didn't deserve anywhere near 80-90, so all those reviewers must of been paid too. Or perhaps, just maybe, they have a different opinion to you.
  11. I would also say that's the best module. Moonshadows is also very good. Funnily enough both makers of those mods now work for Ossian, maybe thats why MoW was that enjoyable. Kaedrin's PRC mods are very good. Adding new classes spells and feats to the game. My personal favourite is Warlock Reworked. But that only if you like Warlocks. Unfortunately the developer stopped supporting it, so to get it to work you have to do a little modifying. They besides items/fixes are the only mods I use.
  12. Yes, because I say one engine looks poor I'm a graphics whore. Why would I not care about graphics? Are good graphics required, no. Would I prefer a game with at least decent grapics, yes. No I just prefer quality. Which in the graphics depatment, AoD is not.
  13. No, not even in a weird parallel universe where TG love FO3.
  14. I would be very hard for any game to look good in this engine, unfortunate but true.
  15. What's wrong with the AoD engine again? Quite simply, it's ugly when compared to Eclipse and (I assume) Onyx. Now I know there is a massive difference between indie and major dev house, but I would still prefer to play it on a engine that I enjoyed aesthetically. Now I'm not saying I won't buy it if it's made with the AoD engine, just offering my opinion on what engine I would rather see it developed on.
  16. Well then they should get some financing and use Obs Onyx or Bio's Eclipse. The game idea is too good to use on the AoD engine.
  17. So because they don't say AP is the second coming and don't agree with your opinions they suck. I agree.
  18. All in the glorious AoD engine. Why can't they use the source engine, plenty of indie developers use it well so it can't be that expensive to use. Although it wouldn't be turn based anymore...
  19. Nope I meant the stuff that comes out of Jabba's arse.
  20. Anytime after October.
  21. Well there is still the force, you know the main theme of the setting. So take that, lightsabers and space out and you have a fairy tale.
  22. Wasn't the Big Bad older than you? Wait, don't tell me Nope: Also dies from one hit.
  23. Ashes 2009 demo
  24. You see, when they hire someone like Lena Headey, I wish they had access to whatever face mapping tech Bio used for Shepard.
