I'll be honest here, the recent previews and confirmation of certain aspect of this game has definitely lessened my interest for this game. But I have to also point out, I'm not one to get 'hyped' for a game, I tend to look at dev posts and news from the dev/publisher about a game with scepticism, so chances are I was never as excited for this game as many other Obs posters. But to quote some things that troubled me: Now I'm pretty sure it's be designed this way from the begining, and I just haven't realized it, but that does lessen my interest in AP. And it's not just that, other little red flags keep poping up: See while the rest of you cry 'not paid peviews', I see comments about aspects of this game that I myself have been worried about, from when I first heard about this game. Now I'm not saying I won't get this game, they aren't playing the final build, the bugs might be gone and I might enjoy the missions even if they don't. My point is that these recent previews have given me pause and raised my eyebrow.

City elves are basically human, living in human society as a second class citizen would of assimilated them. Dalish elves are the ones that should be completely different to humans. However I do agree that the origin was meh, however I'm also of the same opinion of the dwarf origins, but this could possibly be because of my lack of interest in elves and dwarves.

I really should of clicked on the gamescritic link. Now I can see why you say that, still not willing to call her a feminist lesbian though. But for whatever reason she wrote that article, it is a gross overreaction to a game. It still strikes me as a very strange article. A game is a game, the article contains the same sort of logic, as 'playing violent video games turns kids into murderers'. It just seems strange to come from a VG journalist. J.E. Saywer posted comment about there being an achievement for not doing said deeds and didn't get a response from her.

In fact, in depth reading of the article leads me to the conclusion that she is a feminist lesbian and: 1. angry that the main character is a male who can bed several women 2. angry that the main character wont be turned down in a humiliating manner by an openly gay woman The first offends her feminist sensibilities, the latter her lesbian side. I can't stress enough how ridiculous this article is. I'm not seeing that, but I have been wrong before........ Although the no lesbians exists part raise an eyebrow, such a strange thing to say.

Beth distributed those games, not developed them. Did I say they had? Beth aquired the license, published 4 crap games then left the license alone. Just because they didn't develop it, doesn't mean they shouldn't take flak for poor releases, you know like every other publisher.

Not going to happen, wait 1 hour and it will be moded in. Only if we can properly leave it somewhere, without it disappearing. NO! Just place said things in better areas. If I want to die thirty times trying to get power armor in military base A at level 3, so be it. The most important thing said. My personal wants: (Boo inspired me ) 1. More people. In FO3 DC was one generation from being deserted. 2. A personal story, not a save the world or in this case save NV story. (Not FO3 version, more like MOTB) 3. Less area, more content, FO3 was a step up from Oblivion, but I prefer qualtiy over quantity. 4. More use of skills, if I take the lady killer perk, let me use it more than two or three times. 5. If I take the Cyborg perk, let me look like one. Turn it into a small quest if you want it to make total sense, but this bugged me in FO3 and it was something you didn't do in NWN2 with the palemaster class. 6. Let me be more of an arse in NV. 7. Bring reputation back. Not just a disc jockeys comments and 'you look kind of strange' from a sheriff.

Yeah, did you really expect otherwise? Yes? What engine should Obs use then? Remember they have one year to make this game. Personally I don't think the engine of FO3 was it's problem.

And on NWN2. But they are different to a DLC that's for Bio baby franchise. If they don't have the time to make quality DLC, don't make it and ignore the forumers demanding it.

I don't really see how such a small thing can cause a reaction like this. Bio romances are always optional, so if you aren't interested in them, don't do them. The Witcher forced you into a romance/relatioship with either Triss or the other girl and yet you seem to rate that very highy. If it's the fact that same sex romance is in the game, well we always knew that F/F was going to be in the game and has been in every game since KoTOR.(and some say it was inferred in that) Then it must be the M/M option that for some reason bothers you, which still hasn't been confirmed by the way, just same sex romance has been said. I just never understand the knee jerk reaction that romances can recieve, whether in or out. IMO they are an extra, and there inclusion or non inclusion will not factor into my decision making. Edit: It appears I was wrong, it seems M/M is in.

And while explains the quality, Bio still put there name on it. Wonder if the apartment you win carries over into ME2. Mind you I don't really understand why you need one in ME.
