I've decided I like Patty, best character in the game, the Inquisitor seemed ok too, but I get the feeling he's going to screw me over.

Unfortunately, the DL speed for me is not so good, it's currently DL at 22kbs with an apporxament time of 72:22:10. I'll just have to continue playing Risen. Which was also cheap at GamersGate.

Was having a look at different digital download sites and came across GamersGate I was wondering if anyone had used this site, because they offer a good price on games. More accurately Red Faction Guerrilla. SteamAus $69.95 GamersGate $39.99 And yes Aussie can use it without being shady.

Most of D2D specials are not availble outside US/Canada, it killed me because Dark Athena is $5 bucks.

I loved the boat level, I can't count the amount of times I played that level, New Orleans was great to. Real cheap on steam atm if you haven't played it.

Been a bit disappointed in Chapter 2, it seems to have gone very linear quest path, when it was as it's best with side quests. It's makes sense from a story point, limited time etc, but I don't think Risens story is its strength.

You can buy them both cheaply if your internet is poor. At my local EB you can pick up Homeworld 2 for $10. Haven't seen the original for sale lately and I don't think they ever re-released Cataclysm(original expansion) again.

Started Chapter two today, I've got to say the first chapter was brilliant, but I have to ask those who went bandit, was there someone in the bandit camp that bought hunting trophies/smith swords at a reasonable price? Because in Harbour town there wasn't and that was a major reason I went down the order mage path. I always liked the fact you could sell furs to one paticular NPC in Gothic 2 and his reaction when your brought him the skin of a black ogre. Something else that I've found disappointing is the lack of armor in Risen, it seems it's gone down the rank = armor path again(which I don't mind) but has not put any other decent armor in the game(so far). Other things of note: Very good graphics Fantastic lighting (as good as Stalker IMO) Great side quests Good combat Nice atmosphere NO BUGS!!! Runs very well ----------------------- Average - Poor VO Average story (so far) Poor models Uninteresting characters

Hmm. I must have missed the villianry. Who? I think he's referring to Robert Carlyle's character, though I would dispute this.

I not that thrilled with what I've seen of SG:U so far, it's early days though. I'll give it a season, since that's what it took to get me hooked on Atlantis.

No. Shale was part of the game from the very beginning, in fact he was one of the first characters announced so in terms of story/writing/VO it's all there. They just didn't have time to put it in at the first release date, now that it was pushed back, they have been able to put him back into the game. However they've decided to use him as Free DLC, to try and stop second hand purchases.

QTE can be evil, the Resident Evil games prove this. I however can't remember hating them so much in Shenmue.
