  1. What do you mean? But on the other hand, the ending is pretty brilliant too because in my naievety I didn't see it coming at all. Neither did I. I immediately checked the internet to see if I missed something after the ending.
  2. I don't think so, Starkiller had two lightsabers that were blue, and the love interests voice was heard in the trailer.
  3. If it's done well, sure, definitely. However, for me, VO is more of an extra than something that is either expected or required. I always turn the subtltles on anyway. Generally, I would prefer if VO work was minimized in place of additional non-voiced text rather than limiting the text since everything has to be voiced. I don't need VO, but I definitely prefer it. I also liked NWN2/MoTB way, lots of VO and quite a bit of text. The only VO I'm not keen on is PC. That IMO should remain silent. New ME2 Blur trailer here
  4. When you add them all up though its going to be a pretty hefty expense on VO talent. Does it make the game better? I would say no, not inherently, but it probably adds to the Wow factor of the game and generates more PR. Great VO definitely improves an RPG. However 'big names' do not always equal good VO.
  5. Right so apparently Lucasart have decided that TFU deserved a sequel... See the trailer here
  6. Both of them were better on PC.
  7. Part of ME2 voice cast revealed. Martin Sheen- Illusive Man Yvonne Strahovski- Miranda Lawson Seth Green - Joker Keith David - Admiral David Anderson Tricia Helfer - EDI, the voice of the new Normandy Carrie-Anne Moss - Aria T
  8. Yes because saying at the very end, this is not the last you would hear of the warden( ) is because they have no intial plans(plans change)to continue the story..... DLC doesn't count because the save is before the final battle.
  9. No, the better question is: Which one is the bang her option?
  10. Finished Divinity 2 last night, that was a..... unexpected ending, but I enjoyed it. The game itself was quite good.
  11. To you maybe, I personally liked them more then any other NPC in RPGs. See there, a difference of taste. In fact I would say Morrigan is Bio's best written female character by a long way and Alistair their best leading male character. I think DG and the fellow writters knew the Morrigan character was going to get a lot of hate. Yet they persisted with the character, that doesn't happen enough. People have there limit. That's a lot different then asking him to It really depends on the type of character people like to play. I tend to play RPGs as either a neutral/anti-hero or 'evil' charcters so as a result I never had that problem with Morrigan, in fact I never had to give her a gift (beside those ) to get her to 100%, leaving me with a whole lot of excess jewelry that was useless. So in some ways you could say for those characters she is too easy to get along with. Leliana however is just expensive either way. And then there are people on the Bio boards crying for MOAR. Personally doesn't bother me either way. But honestly you best get used to seeing sex in games, it's prevalent in film and literature and it was always only a matter of time before it happened in games too.
  12. No. They are real characters, that you can't bend to your will constantly, not the cardboard cutouts that flip to your way of thinking at the last moment or purr at whatever you do. Why shouldn't you be able to turn Morrigan into a sweet little bunny that doesn't drop you the minute she get what she needs? Or turn Alistiar into a hard as nails King that can see Loghain might be useful? Why should Wynne and Lelianna react to a certain choice? Why should Sten be annoyed at all the kitty saving? Let just have them all as bland instruments to your will, with no agenda or personality of their own. It's always this way with strong characters. Whinging.
  13. Actually DG said if the was a sequel it wouldn't be about another blight. It also would not make sense to move the story too far ahead, because it would no longer be the dragon age. Yep DA:MOTB would please me, however no killing all the companions with rocks thank you.
  14. Well apparently there is M/M romance in ME2. Translated for ME2 forums, supposedly from an interview with a Polish VA on a Polish website. #######SPOILERS########## #######SPOILERS########## Now where is Boo. Oh and here is an interview with Ray Muzyka about ME2.
  15. I would personally prefer a more personal story about the PC rather then another save the world story. With the Origin's being what you decided to do at the end of DA. Spoilers Origin Chancellor Origin Warden Origin Adventure Origin Search Then 2 other origin choices that can only be chosen based on race that tie into the previous 4: Origin Elf Origin Dwarf Then 2 sub origin choices that change parts of the base 6. Origin Noble Origin Maleficar (Requires Blood Mage specialization, Origin Adventure/Origin Search/Origin Elf) The game itself is set in Orlais(which is heavily hinted at in DA) and Tevinter. It's a more personal story, with the beginning arc being the blood ritual caused the taint inside the participating warden to accelerate it's process, giving the warden years instead of decades. They find out from a former Warden, that there is indeed a way to cure yourself of the taint(from the DA books) and the warden/Alistair set off to find it. The level cap is raised to 40. If they don't continue with the Warden, the main thing I want to see is a full Maleficar Origin and the only thing I don't want to see,
  16. Dawn of War 2, it's actually really good. It's got that I want phat loot addiction to it, leveling up is rather shallow, but I didn't expect it to be that deep. Now if only you could be chaos.
  17. Just picked up Mirror's Edge and Evil Genius, am debating on whether to pick up Dark Athena too. It's a shame today is the last day, was begining to get use to checking Steam for a good sale every day.
  18. So another character that's not entirely all there... Well the Asari lovers will be happy at least.
  19. Decided to get the THQ Deal, to good a deal to pass up. This is why Steam is great.
