  1. The fact, that Russia was forced to move their armies from Abkhazia, Ossetia, Ural, Far East and North Siberia to Ukraine pretty much shows how widespread it is. Even without the official numbers provided...
  2. The morale of the fiercest army in the world is indeed high
  3. As expected. What I found out, that first mention on Russian YT channels about him was on 15th March, and 16 March he was proclamed as dead by russian trolls on telegram, completely missing the point, that he arrived in Ukraine before March 4th
  4. In other news, Russian childkillers denacified in Kharkiv the house of holocaust survivor of four concentration camps during WW2...
  5. I have no clue about Mariupol, but I have colleague from Kharkiv, who is ethnic Russian, and he never had any nice words about Putin, even before the 2014 invasion of Donbas. After 2014 a lot of ethnic Russians changed their mind about Russia - Ukrainian relationships and now mostly support westernization. Despite Putin's wishes... What is happening now, are moving them even further to the West. This sentiment is pretty much outlined by number of refugees moving from Ukraine to Russia and Belarus, despite safe corridors to there being open almost all the time...
  6. Local population is on their side in the whole Ukraine, even the ethnic Russians. Because Putin is currently shelling the cities with the highest ratio of ethnic Russians. Kyiv is the sole exception.
  7. There is one more claim, allegedly from intercepted communication.
  8. A lot of people were comparing it to Crimea annexation. It went very smooth, and locals kind of welcomed them. Nowadays, even before the invasion, even the ethnic Russians living in Ukraine, mostly did not wanted to have anything to do with Russia, and now are also protesting against them in occupied cities in the south.
  9. One of our investigative journalists have some similar articles why there might be some ineptitude. Some are about similar points, and some are completely different. But the Mafia and purges is the first time I've heard it. Knowing a little bit what were soviets, which occupied Czechoslovakia, talking about, it might be based on something real. Many soviets here were almost all the time talking about how they are happy in Czechoslovakia, because compared to being in army at home it was like "heaven".
  10. The full Twitter thread upon which was made the above video.
  11. Another theory on shortcomings or Russia in Ukraine. On one hand, my brain is just unable to acknowledge, how someone could be so shortsighted to do that on purpose, on the other hand, it's directly from Stalin's workbook and it is fully in context with Putin's words, that the war is going on according to plan...
  12. Looks like the tradition of Gulags has been reestablished
  13. Now even Hezbollah categorically denies cooperation with Russia.
  14. The calmness of these guys...
  15. Sorry @213374U, but your argument about Ukrainian forces being in civil buildings is moot. The first thing which Russia bombs in every single city including Western Ukraine, where is no active conflict brewing) are Hospitals, Schools and Kindergartens. Then they start shelling water and food reservoirs and only then other infrastructure. After that they try to attack against Ukrainian forces, and get asskicked. Even in Mariupol which is besieged from day 3 of the invasion, they are losing whole brigades day by day... The other thing is Mariupol, Kharkiv and most of the cities around Doneck and Luhansk are cities with very high population of ethnic Russian. So in the 22 days of shelling, Putin managed to kill more Russians than Ukrainians (even if we exclude all of his fallen soldiers). That big of a **** he is...
  16. More on China's latest steps.
  17. 4. Maybe 5 if the ambush reported by Ukrainian General Staff I linked was legit
  18. More footage from Kherson airport, after Ukrainian attack. Looks like some Russian guy made the video. Russians lost ****ton of stuff
  19. Nope, Big Majority is Orthodox Christians and AFAIK Greek Catholics are more common than Roman Catholics there as well.
  20. Looks like they did their calculations and start to care a little bit more. Today it was reported in our news, that Lavrov was flying to China, but on the half-way there, his plane suddenly changed his course back to Moscow... Seems like Pooh noticed, how is Putler moving a lot of their armies from Siberia to Ukraine, and starts new round of calculations... Zelenskyi would never accept Austria-like neutrality. That would mean "peaceful-type" of army with almost no offensive capabilities, and that would mean, one more invasion, after Russia recovers, if Putin would be still in charge. This time, with more horrific outcome for Ukrainians. The best deal which I can imagine would be, that they would be neutral with Turkey guarding their skies. Erdogan, as much he is an ass, he is only NATO politician, which has some kind of respect in Moscow. And in other interesting news: Moldova wants the Russians gone from Transnistria Uzbekistan as one of the closest allies to Russia has raised some fingers. Statements like this would be unimaginable few days ago... Aftermath of the Ukrainian attack on Russian occupied airport near Kherson Another information from Slovak news: "Oleksiy Arestovych, an adviser to the head of the office of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, said that the Ukrainian army had destroyed the command post of one of the Russian armies involved in the invasion of Ukraine. The positions came under fire from Ukrainian artillery. "It is a great military success. It may mean that several generals have died and caused the disorganization and disruption of hostile activities aimed at continuing the military operation," Arestovych said. The commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valery Zaluzhny, said that the headquarters of the 35th Army of the Eastern Military District of the Russian Federation had been destroyed." Alleged footage near the area
  21. Three commanders including 1 general near Kharkiv were snipered IIRC the reports.
  22. He was immediately put under other Canadian commander, from info which was released few times, foreign fighters are under command of people who speak their language. Probably only the top people in these regiments are talking Ukrainian. There was also reported few days before Yavoriv incident, that one full polish brigade is operating near Kyiv. Also Slovak ****posters are spreading "verified" information, that he died in Mariupol What would be a logic to send a sniper to a city, which was already besieged when he arrived to Ukraine?
  23. From what I understood, they were hit by a lot of missiles, but the big number of casualties is because one of the rockets hit directly one of the barracks, other rocksets were not so accurate. According to Ukraine this barrack was full of Ukrainian soldiers only (we should take this with grain of salt or two). Wali though was apparently in Ukraine before March 4th. So I highly doubt, that such an asset would be still near Polish borders waiting for 10 days. The fact that there are already 12 12 high commanders down as of yesterday gives a high probability, that the snipers like him are at this time already deep in the Ukrainian territory. We'll see. First report about Wali from Canada published on March 4th.
  24. I fully understand that. I am not supporter of what NATO did in the past, and I am ashamed one of our prime ministers was part of it. Unfortunately the tide of time shows again and again, what happens to small nations if they are not part of any pact, if their neighbour got nukes And I do not want to see what is happening to Ukraine to happen to my country as well
