  1. I have not seen any information about Germany denying this rumours as well, but in Slovakian news, there was big turmoil about that BBG article today... I can not comment on Austria and Germany, but in Slovakia, the people in our current government had pretty significant anti-russian sentiments in past and nowadays. There is only one excel-**** in the government, who would be OK to make business even with a crossbreed of Mao, Hitler and Pol-Pot during nuclear holocaust, but he was silenced pretty much immediately after speaking out. So the statements about Slovakia not paying in rubles is for now pretty plausible. We'll see in a month, when there will be due another payment...
  2. This is just a Russian propaganda. Austrian chancellor has denied it, and the CEO of SPP (Slovak Gas Industry) has released today this statements: "This is a unilateral step by Russia, which is testing the European Union's united approach. For the time being, Slovakia does not expect a unilateral suspension of supplies, because it has fulfilled its contractual obligation in advance by making a payment by the end of May. I assume that Slovakia will follow the joint action of the EU countries. Slovakia has no reason to pay directly with rubles. The contract declares payment in euros or dollars."
  3. In other news, a few Russian "puppet" states are seeing the weakness of the bear, and after Kazakhstan condemning the Russian invasion, this week Kyrgyzstan has "strongly recommended" to it's citizen's to not wear anything with resemblance to Russian Z letter propaganda... This will be interesting to watch. Some analysts are predicting, if Russia will fail with Donbas seizure, that it might slowly spark unrests in less stable Russian territories and Russia will implode. And these ex-puppets might give a lot of resources to this happen... Also about the infamous Putler's picture/video. One of the famous Czech doctors, who previously successfully diagnosed Czech president health condition based on his video footage, has released a diagnose for Putler as well (the only thing which I remember is Parkinson). Unfortunately I am not able to find the article now, but if I ever find it again, I will share it here for sure.
  4. The theory which is circulating a little bit here in Slovakia, around the people, who know more about Russian **** than I do: The Sims got a lot of flak in media and church as an advertisement of gay relationships. And gays are in Russia the second most hated demographics, right after nazis... So the guy who "prepared the assasination" is not only a Nazi, but also a LGBTI+ rights advocate. So in Russian propaganda eyes, he is a total monster who did not only wanted to kill a "journalist" but wanted turn the Russian youth to decadent life style...
  5. Really sorry for multipost, but somehow did not notice this before... 🤷‍♂️ Well France and i guess probably UK are already training Ukraine soldiers for the use for some NATO equipment, preparing them for possible long war of attrition.
  6. There is this heretical idea... You know, maybe if Russia did not attacked Ukraine, the business would be as usual, with Nordstream 2 running and spreading hydrocarbons to happy EU, and no one would need to pay for war reparations 🤷‍♂️
  7. I do not know, if these two things can be compared based on casualties 🤔, because of the way, how the wars were waged then and now. IIRC, it is presumed, that the Russia has deployed 150000 for initial invasion, so 20k soldiers lost is in less than two months, pretty big chunk 🤷‍♂️
  8. Yesterday, there were again reports of explosions near Kherson, today Arestovych reported destruction of Russian outpost full of Russian officers. And more tanks to Ukraine from Poland. The replacement for them are British tanks.
  9. Pro-Kremlin news readovka.net have for a brief time released the number of Russian casualties. 13414 KIA, and approx 7000 MIA. Which gives a very similar number to Ukrainian official numbers (21.5k as of today). "Coincidentally" the article was taken down after just few minutes online.
  10. Just watched it few minutes ago. We are slowly phasing out from phase 3 to phase 4. Found this today and it is pretty much a nuclear bombshell - Evaluation of Special military operation by "father" of People's Republics idea from 2014: TLDW: - translation is not mine, but from one journalist, whom I consider pretty credible. - Strelkov, one of the main protagonists of the Russian aggression in 2014, later Interior Minister DNR, a former senior FSB agent and his statement. He doesn't hold back much: - Nothing good will come out of this military campaign, as everything is decided by people, half of whom are Putin's pulpiters (really), half of whom are simply retards and the rest will betray him at any moment. With this, it is impossible to win the war. - Not even Stalin would not be able to win this war. With such "staff" it is impossible. - FSB failed across the board. - The Ministry of Defense knows how to organize parades, but the soldiers are not able to fight. - With a battle hardened by the enemy, Russian forces were not able to achieve a single strategic victory. - Russians could not conquer anything except the cities that the Ukrainians left strategically. Volnovakh and Mariupol, who are still not conquered, are also counted there. - Diploma failed with Lavrov. The secret services have failed, the army is also failing. - The failure can also be seen in the place of the commander-in-chief - Putin.
  11. Today first bombs have been dropped on the home city of the Ukrainian student, which me and my wife are temporarily taking care of 😢
  12. Well in Russia it works the way, that the only allowed view on their TV, is the view of the Kremlin. There were definitely more than one occassion of Moskva sinking and need for revenge on Russian TV. I've seen myself two snippets of official state propaganda on the matter, and both in line with "Ukraine will pay for the Moskva, which sunk because of non-professional handling of ammunition on the deck". Tucker Carlson is a nuts, but it is still impossible to compare it to the propaganda spewed on the Russian state TV.
  13. I see Mariupol only as a tool for propaganda, because they were not able to seize it in 2014. I think it is complete foolishness to try to defeat it, because as you mentioned, they are using loads and loads of Russian troops to make the siege possible, and their soldiers are dieing at a crazy high rate. If Russia will be defeated in Ukraine one day, then their stubbornness to take Mariupol at all costs would be one of the root causes for that defeat. But that is still very long way to go, and the war still can end both ways. What is the biggest advantage of Ukraine, is that the Russian units, had no operational pause in this conflict, because 9th May is getting closer and closer. What is the biggest disadvantages for Ukraine, is that on the Eastern Front, they will now face much much bigger logistic challenges than Russia will.
  14. Even though the town of Kreminna was taken by Russian occupants, the Ukrainians wiped out whole unit/group/BTG? (impossible to find out from the article) led by one of the top Lugansk Peoples Republic commander Lieutenant Colonel Kishchik (probably Kadyrovite), including himself, before retreating from Kreminna. The guy became "famous and high regarded commander" after the events of 2014 occupation of Donbas. Google translate of the news in Slovak language: https://www-trend-sk.translate.goog/spravy/ukrajina-zahynul-jeden-velitelov-luhanskych-separatistov-cecenec-misa?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US&_x_tr_pto=wapp Day after this, Ukrainian intelligence service GUR, reported that Russia started Purge in the top ranks of LPR, due to not doing enough to defeat Ukraine. (this might or might not be connected to the above mentioned killing of the top commander and his entire unit/group/BTG?)
  15. Today has been very fruitful for the Ukrainian air defense: 3 aircraft (1 Su-25, 2 unspecified models of Su), 2 helicopters (1 KA-52, 1 Mi-8), 1 Orlan-10
  16. This is correct. Putin in his today's speech after stopping the assault has said, he is doing it to save Russian soldiers lives, he does not give a single **** about the children there. He specifically said, that the Russian soldier should not allow a single fly out of Azovstal. The interesting thing is, that right after that statement, Polk Azov already released video of destroyed Russian Tank, and they released a statement, that after this announcement in matter of two hours they destroyed 3 tanks, 2 BMPs, and something, which my limited knowledge of Ukrainian spoken language was not able to decipher. And this is the response from Ukrainian partizans: the approx translation is: "For occupants and collaborators: We are close, we are already working in Kherson, death awaits for all of you. Kherson is Ukraine. (this has been posted very soon after someone killed pro-russian blogger in Kherson) I have seen few Russian ex-athletes, who run away from Russia, to support this banning of Russian athletes, with the reasoning behind being, that the Russian athletes were always tools of Russian propaganda. Just think about the crazy big scandal of web of state controlled doping few years ago. Up until now, Russian have been denying, that this is truth, as much as they are still denying they shot down the civil plane over Donbas.
  17. Well, take it or not, so far it works. Russian put army supplies and technic there, got killed and destroyed. Ukrainians release new meme, wait for few days, rinse and repeat. They don't need ever try hard to go after them, like the joint operation guys at Donbas, they just wait. Will it have any significant outcome for the outgoing war? Probably not, but anything counts when fighting against overwhelming odds... Especially, when this happens without any casualties on the defenders side... As for Bayraktars, I've seen some videos of them directly dropping bombs overhead of tanks and MRLS, but from what I understand, it is just an additional perk of the system. The fact is, Russia is unable to detect them most of the time, and then only one Bayraktar helps to eliminate dozens units of vehicles in a single night. Like this one. (pretty long video, but it shows, how Ukraine is utilizing them in the first place - these are pictures from Lelek UAV.) Feel free to skip the first mobile artillery shooting, the reconnaissance and action part starts after that. Also, it looks like that Russia is not paying their contractors, and they start to rebel.
  18. OMFG... Kherson airport for the 17th time... 🤣 And Ukraine will get finally some aircraft... And long range Artillery...
  19. And I have already seen Shoigu today in some video 😄 But it is impossible to say, if it was filmed before or after the rumours of his death 😄 Well. the Thing might be, as we all know, how rampant the corruption in Russian army is, that the reactive armor might have changed few hands during the modernization of the tanks Here little bit about the overwhelming corruption in Russian army by Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project oragnization. https://www.occrp.org/en/37-ccblog/ccblog/16192-2022-04-07-16-58-47 And Russia has started the offensive at Azovstal at Mariupol. With aerial bombing the nearby hospital. Allegedly 300 people ended under the rubble, no clue if anyone survived... I hope these Russian **** all burn alive... https://t.me/Novoeizdanie/10920 Only in Ukrainian language EDIT: Russian are threatening people of Mykolaiv as well in Kherson, if they do not join the Russian occupants, they will murder them all... only in Russian language
