  1. Yes. They blew up all critical infrastructure in the city. Kherson is now without power and water. And on Russian telegrams, there are VDV guys complaining, that their last order, they received was to wear civilian clothes, and chose wherever they will go. All that, after the Antonovski Bridge was blown up. on the other hand:
  2. If you really believe, that leaving mobiks and prisoners behind, and force them to fight against their will, does not lead to much higher casualties on Russian side, especially when banging their head day by day against Bakhmut, Soledar, Bilohorivka, Avdiivka, and lately against Pavlivka as well. You might have probably given up on critical thinking as well Everywhere it is stated, that in modern warfare, when attacking enemy stronghold, attackers have losses in such situation 5:1, and Russians are doing it for months all day long, and bringing fresh meat through mobilization… Not to mention HIMARS landing on their asses around the clock… Alone around the Bakmut city, the casualties on the Wagner and co. since the beginning of the siege, are estimated between 10-20k. It is even stated, that due to the ridiculous number of dead Russian soldiers and Mercenaries left behind in the area, the underground water reservoirs are started to see high contamination by pathogens in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts… I am sorry to inform you, but your claims of loses 1:1 are as much in the fantasy land as you deem the 10:1 claims, are
  3. Of course the number are the same for Ukrainians. Only in Mariupol, it is estimated, that Russia killed 20k civilians To bad the Russian army does not funnel all the effort aimed at civilians to military targets. They would be probably already back occupying Eastern Berlin
  4. Zelenskiy announced in the interview to CNN that the losses are approximately 1:10 According to US General Milley, the WIA/KIA on RU side is 100k. and you do not need to be amazed by that number. Soviet Union/Russia has always had sayin. “Nas mnogo.” (There is many of us). Just look at waht is going on around Bakhmut in last 6 months https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2022/11/10/7375844/ Edit: Antonovsky Bridge was blown up by Russia. Looks like 20k Russians which are according to estimates still in Kherson Oblast, will be having very bad weekend trying to fulfill the evacuation orders. But I am sure that Putin has no issue to make this sacrifice.
  5. It actually might be true. I have found this. And yes someone speaking Russian better than me (elementary school level ) would be very helpful if he could to translate for us
  6. on a more serious note. Yes, of course they were retreating. Because, their losses caused on them by UA Army, became unsustainable. And Ukraine made everything to minimize it loses by not rushing. Their biggest loses were during the breach near Popasna and battle for Sieverodonetsk and Lysychansk. Current numbers in Kherson, based on Ukrainian MoD is 1 KIA/WIA UA against 7-8 KIA/WIA RU. So all of their retreat is just a consequence of chain of ****ups since february 24th. Here is a short summary of the situation from a Russian soldier fighting in Kherson Oboast, which became pretty famous net personality in Russia. He predicts, that if Russia will handle the operation same way as in Kherson, they will lose Crimea as well
  7. Yeah, I have that one. Still prefer chilling while driving on automode
  8. Have you by any chance missed out how fast they forced out Russia out of Kharkiv, while they were to busy reinforcing Kherson? And are you even aware, that Ukraine liberated already more than 50% of the land, which were occupied by Russia after 24th of February? And that was even before the announcement of goodwill gesture in Kherson… Probably not, else you would make more effort to belittle the Ukrainian successes Does this mean Ukraine will win this conflict? No. Does it means that Russian invasion is one big catastrophe, which is starting to have big political impact at home? Yes.
  9. Somebody linked a Deutsche Welle article from 2014, which mentioned a lot of “accidents” to Russian appointed collaborators, after the Green Men were kicked out of Kramatorsk that year. Oh, and this one is really interesting as well
  10. I have noticed it at some hunt givers already, yes. oh and for some reason, I prefer riding in a car on Automode, and listening to soundtracks, over riding chocobos. I even sometimes do not use autotravel to outposts, just to listen to some music, which brings me some memories from my younger age This is the best feature of the game so far that’s why it went up to 3/5 for me
  11. I have read somewhere, that it is believed, that Russia has 174,000 troops right now in Ukraine, and I do not believe UA has as many active soldiers at the front ATM (they have definitely more soldier in total, but many of them are around whole Ukraine to defend the Belarus border and around Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv). And they prefer the enemy to exhaust themselves impaling on their defense in Donetsk Oblast and HIMARS them to oblivion instead of full-scale attacks. Saves much more lives, and looking at the current number of Russian casualties, it works well. Especially, when there are now more and more rumours about power-struggle between Prigozhin, Shoigu and Kadyrov, which leads to a big amount of Russian casualties due to friendly fire Little bit explaining why so high friendly fire and so many bodies in this video
  12. I got used a little bit more to the combat, but as you described, the best method to win, is spam Warp Strike and then hold attack button for second or two, followed by dodge/defend button and on Ignis technique, which name I do not remember, but it calls all the bros into the attack and it deals a massive damage to the enemy. Rinse, repeat, with occasional Potion use, and Healcast:Spell. Profit… Still feels to bland to me, but for now, my evaluation of the game increased from 2/5 to 3/5. But I am again feeling a lot of boredom, while running around the open world and finding absolutely nothing useful Finishing Chapter 5 btw
  13. Few noteworthy news: Preparation for the war, allegedly began back in 2021. Russian appointed deputy head of Kherson administration had a smoking accident, while driving. Already confirmed by Saldo. https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2022/11/9/7375620/ European Commision proposes 18 billions EUR help to Ukraine. Only Hungary is in opposition according to latest reports from news in local broadcast in Slovakia. https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2022/11/9/7375619/ And according to UA officials, the news about UA being pushed to peace talks by the west, is just a Russian PsyOps, which the western media posted to get the clicks, as it is a very controversial topic. “They are not pushing us to enter into negotiations, but are simply saying that ‘it is desirable not to refuse the Russians so categorically’, so that Europeans can live more calmly.” https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2022/11/9/7375588/ Also, the speculations about lowering the funding if Republicans take over, most of the time do not mention, that most of them are in very close ties with Weapon lobbyists, and are warhawks. Therefore it is still possible, that the funding will be still the same, just with more oversight on weapon deliveries. Especially now, after some results are counted, and it looks like the “race” is much closer, than predicted
  14. Just look at Marines and Zerglings, even the best of the best can be easily outmatched by incompetent if the numbers are high enough
  15. Are you aware, that the Bridge over the Kakhovka Dam is in one of the red rectangles? And my image is from November the 3rd, where it was hit again, and there was a big fire exactly in the red rectangles… If they wanted to hit the Dam they would hit another bridge, the curved one which is on the picture on the left border, under left down corner of the green rectangle, which is considered the weakest link of that road, but “surprise, surprise”, they did not hit that segment once since start of the war. Exactly for the same reason, because it is the weakest link…
  16. Well to me, it also seemed as an overstatement, but yesterday started to circulate letter send to Russian MoD, from Marines who were obliterated at Pavlika, south of Vuhledar front. After reading the translations, it seems to me, that the 60% might indeed be correct, as we have another confirmation, that Russian commanders on the Doneck front, are just a bunch of clowns, which are destroying their own army, with insanely stupid orders…
  17. You are wrong, they did not hit the dam a single time. They hit the bridging of small water outlet area at the right bank of Dnepr River here you have the exact area, where all the HIMARS are landing… The fact is the Russia is last mont stealing, firefighting vehicles, ambulances, buses, and are sinking all of the boat in Kherson… Why do you think, they are doing it, if not as a preparation, for them flooding the area?
  18. Translation of article by Russian Verstka newspaper, which is talking about how the conscripts are doing on the Luhansk frontlines. https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2022/11/5/7375139/
  19. Putin acknowledges with thiś that they do not have the means to enforce naval blockade of UA ports anymore, especially when Erdogan announce, that all ships will be transporting grain under Turkish flag. That’s why such a fast u-turn happened, as Putin finds it less embarassing for him, to backtrack, than to engage with Turkish navy, which has now upper hand in Black Sea Putin being concerned about third world is as much likely as him being concerned about casualties of his army
  20. Chapter 3 of FFXV. Finaly something, which I liked. The Chocobo and Bahamut quest. Unfortunately it was just about 20-30 long. And more anoying stuff around. Imperial soldiers love to spawn at the most unconvenient places. I “love” this especially if I am in middle of a Hunt Quest, close to another beast spawn point. Fighting three big groups of enemies at once is really “fun” in this game…
  21. And here is the link to the report on Youtube.
  22. Another piece of puzzle uncovering the planned attrocities on Ukrainians by Russia…
  23. Well, the journey so far sucks. If I want to do hiking, I’ll go out. Plenty to do around my place I expect from my games a little bit more, then what I got from FFXV. Sadly
  24. So I have 12 hour clocked on Final Fantasy XV… If I would describe it in one word, it would be Bland… The Good: - Environment is gorgeous - Fishing minigame is relaxing The Bad: - Everything takes ages. Running around the map, story, sidequests, enemy encounters… - Most of the time “playing” the game, is just a waste of time and bland filler… - Because of the nature of the game, the subtitles are lost a lot of time to me. As a non-native English speaker, this is probably my biggest issue… After I finally get to the story, I miss some of the dialogues. It is impossible to pause them… - Lackluster and bland story. Story in Chapter 1 would be finished in previous FF games in around 30 minutes or so… Here it took me 10 hours… If I did skip all the running around for Hunts and Sidequests, It would take me probably 2 hours. Just because it takes ages to get to Objectives, which move you forward with the story… The Ugly: - Combat. Wait Mode is Atrocious, and real-time battle is chaotic… There is absolutely nothing good taken from previous games, to make the combat not suck - I have purchased Special Edition at the release of the game, which is just a waste of 120 EUR… Should have waited for discounted Royal Edition with all content for 15EUR…
  25. I am planning to purchase ot, but, I am also Waiting for a pricedrop. Square Enix after their shift to live services and NFTs is on my deep discount purchase list.
