So I have finished all 240 Quick Battles in Soulcalibur 5 and got another trophy. It was really pain in the ass to fight against few broken opponents, but I have to say, I was having a lot of fun! Game is 95% complete, and only last two trophies are missing. To reach level 99 (I am level 58 now) and to make 87,600 meters of movement (currently 17,698 m ).

Oh yeah, trying to offer the newest pest of the industry (episodic gaming) as a feature...

And 200 out of 240 Quick Battles done. Some AI opponents are really retarded. For some reason, few B ranked bots are much harder than A1 bots... I really do not know, who was the person behind balance of this game O.o

Because the official Tyranny forum is on Paradox site?

180 Quick Battle Opponents defeated. 60 more to go. I am now fighting against A and B grade opponents. Some of them are pretty easy even for an old fart as me, some of them are ****ing crazy hard. The AI reacts to button presses and most of the time smashes your face as soon as you release block button :-/ I hate that kind of programming...

Soulcalibur 5 is 90% complete. 5 most time consuming and hardest trophies to go ( I do not remember when was the last time, that some game have made me so angry. Grrrrr

Welcome to my world :'(

To be honest, I rather see distilled old quests and their logic, than the totally original new way the world needs hero to save it and you are the only one who has the power to do it. Now bring me 10 rat pelts.

In AAA it might be dead, yes. For you for sure. For average gamer as well, but for me, the genre is flourishing, like never before. I am happy, that my money can be still spent on good RPGs made by many indie developers. And My money can be also spent on many good JRPGs because, they still use the mechanics, which I liked when I was younger, and are fulfilling enough even now.

Well, I have no idea what the person is referring to, as well... Balancing to perfection in modern games? Yeah, if you count microtransactions as a perfection, then maybe some modern games are balanced to withdraw as much from your balance as possible...

Well, I received this game as a gift from friends. And Trophies are my Kryptonite. I wanted to get all of the online trophies away from the list as soon as possible, before they turn off the servers. It is unbelievable, but I find trophy gathering pretty fun, most of the time. Well except Lightning Returns: FFXIII, which I really hated to play :-/

Just finished all Soulcalibur 5 online Trophies. Complete time to finish them was 5 and half hour. Most of them spent waiting on opponent to connect :'( Game is 82% complete, with one trophy in Legendary mode and 115 Quick battles to go for 3 more trophies and few more grinding one. We'll see how long it will take me to get all of these. Going to take a nap now

And after Crusader Kings, I went for online Trophy hunting for Soulcalibur 5. The servers are ghost town, but that's way it is easier to find your friends online. Managed to achieve 9 online trophies in 6 hours. Still missing 4 online Trophies and 1 offline trophy, which is easier to achieve when playing online. I hope I can finish it tomorrow right after lunch. And then three crazy hard offline trophies against AI opponents, and I should be done with the game for good. But, that's lighter to said, than done We'll see.

Continued to play Crusader Kings 1 Complete (playing Hungary). After getting into alliance with Byzantine Empire, one of my one province vassals decided to declare war on them. What a retard. Anyway I have decided to stand by my vassal and **** hit the fan. My maximum manpower would be around 300,000 and Byzantines around 250,000. So the war started. After a while they crushed my vassal and I have slowly set all of my troops to Byzantine territory. To make it short, the war lasted for more than 10 years, and me and my vassals spent ****loads of ducats on the army upkeep. The only result of my stupid vassal was liberating back his province and one small province near the Black See for me. /facepalm. Getting more than that in the peace deal was impossible. I was also able to liberate two more provinces from small vassal war near the permanent terra incognita, and with it I was able to create the title of King of Rus :D So starting as a small County of Gemer, I have moved my ranks to become the Duchy of Nitra, my current ruler is now King of Hungary, King of Croatia and King of Rus :D

Well compared to others, as I see, they offer you the option not only to pledge, but to invest in the game as well. So I think some need for info for registration is validated that way.

I've thought so. I have heard only about Aunt Irma in The IT Crowd. And it meant the same :-P

Well what is the difference between aunt Flo and aunt Irma? :-O

Anyone care to explain for us non-american plebs?

Well, I don't think Erdogan would be very pleased about that.

And another wave of GOG Connect up as well.

Same here, but crafting can be refreshing, if implemented properly. Procedural generation is the new pest of industry. The inability of proper hand made designing of game world is now marketed as a feature.

Feeling the same, I am maybe strange, but what annoys me most with these UI thingies, is goal markers which shows distance from your destination in meters. Especially in games, which have historical settings. I find it totally out of place and it is for me the most immersion breaking feature in most of the games.

well it will be more flashy, but I really doubt, many of the games will play at 60 FPS. "Cinematic" 30 FPS is the new trend of the industry.
