And finished Vettel's X Challenge on Monza for gold in 15 minutes. Much much easier to finish it, and much more forgiving when doing mistakes. I completely ****ed up the 2nd lap, but still was able to finish 0.267s faster than gold limit. Next Suzuka. From what I heard, this **** is the hardest of them all. Wish me luck.

I started today the first event in Vettel Redbull Challenge in GT5. Time required for gold medal: Two laps on Nurburgring in 2:08:000 with the crazy GT5 RedBull fan car prototype. I spent 3 and half hour on it today, best delta 2:07:5xx, best time 2:08:027 :'( I ****ed up on that run the last curve. I almost cried when I have seen the final time Crazy ****ing hard, I feel completely exhausted now, like I would physically work for 8 hours in some chinese coal mine... I will try my luck tomorrow again, and hope, I can get down the last 27 thousands of a second before I end up exhausted again Definatelly one of the hardest challenges, I have ever attempted in a computer game...

NWN2 without question. I was never much into the custom community content, so I had much more fun with NWN2.

And all tracks finished in Sébastien Loeb Rally Challenge special event on gold medals. And with it, earned another trophy in Gran Turismo 5. The game is 86% complete now and three more trophies to go before Platinum. In the end, the event was little bit lighter, than I had anticipated, just the Chamonix Main snow track gave me headaches. But after 45 minutes the event was completed.

The variety is impressive. Whoever they assigned to come up with all the different booze really embraced it. There must be 30 different types of alcohol in this game! Is Slivovica among them? If not, then this game lost any resemblance to reality!!!
-
Czechs and Slovaks love their booze, so it's pretty close to reality :-D

I spent another 3 and half hour with Grand Turismo 5 today. I was going for all gold medals in Grand Tour special event, and I have to say, it is very hard one to get gold in all events. Stages two and five are pretty easy to get gold on first try, but the other three events, especially the first one, were sooo crazy hard for me On Eiger Nordwand Time Trial, to master Alfa Romeo 8C Competecione so I could get time in under 1.17 was really time consuming. Car was for me hard to handle, so I was happy when I got Bronze after a while. I decide to learn little bit about the car and started with Traction Control at 5 and in the game, I played with my wheel and tried various brake configurations. When I got first time under 1.17.500, I started to lower the Traction control, until I started to make with TCS 2 repeatedly times around 1,17,200. The setup for brakes ended at 4 front and 6 rear, and after another 20 minutes, I was finally able to beat that crazy time!!! That was a time for a small celebration, so I rather turned off PS3 for a while, so it would not freeze again on me as when doing IB License. After I calmed little bit down, and spent another 1 and half hour on stages 3 and 4, I managed to get the precious gold in all events, and Grand Tour Trophy popped up, when I went back to main menu \o/ So much fun trying to master this event Now I need to calm down little bit and get some food. :D Next in line Sebastian Loeb Challenge Special Event. I am little bit afraid of this, because I am not very good at Rally races in GT games

Well it's just matter of principles for me. Microtransactions are for me very big anti-consumer feature. And I just simply can't give my money to a company behaving that way. The market is so big, and there are so many other companies, which treat customers much better. And these companies are getting my money first.
-
Well, all I can say, is from what I read or heard from people here on forums and from few reviewers which I trust. I ahve not played the game, and not planning to. Steam only games = no sale for me. But from experience with newest games from Square, and some of their announcements, even if they would release DRM free, they are on my "Do not buy unless positive word of mouth has spread list". And as soon as games have microtransactions even on other platforms, which I own, even if the word of mouth gives the game 10 out of 10, I am not paying more than 15EUR for complete edition. I have big backlog and big patience. I can wait.
-
Yes would be nice, But I think We need little bit more some Pathfinder CRPG :-P Best from some original AP like Curse of the Crimson Throne, Carrion Crown or Jade Empire ;-)
-
The only wrong thing is the literal rape of the full priced game with ridiculous microtransactions. Gameplay might be awesome, but some people should stay by their principles and not pay even for awesome game filled with microtransaction full price. Else it will never go away. People fought against multiplayer pass and it has gone. It can be done, but people need to learn to have some patience.

How far are you in ToG f? Planning to go for Zhonecage as well?I will go for it, but I'm probably not doing it immediately. I want to play Ni No Kuni and Yakuza 5 and then play NG+ in Graces. Definately need to boot up Ni No Kuni for NG+ myself as well. I am still crying that Yakuza 5 is digital download only (

I have spent 2 more hours with Gran Turismo 5 today, and I was finaly able to get Gran Turismo Rally trophy as well. Golded all three events in this Special Event as well. 5 more trophies to go until platinum. Next one planned is Grand Tour. Last time I've tried it, I have failed miserably, not a single bronze medal achieved in the event ( Will see how it goes this time. How far are you in ToG f? Planning to go for Zhonecage as well?

I booted Gran Turismo 5 today again, and decided to finish the AMG Driving Academy Special Event. In between the dry and wet events, I tried to go for the GT-R Official Record Trophy as well. I thought this trophy would be for me the hardest, but even though I crashed before the last chicane, I managed to overcome the required time by almost 4 seconds. After that, I spent 2 more hours on AMG Academy, and I was able to get all the events on Gold Medals. \o/ Need to take a break now, so I am visiting my parents dogs, to chill little bit :-P Next in line is Gran Turismo Rally. Beginner and Intermediate challenges were easy as pie, and finished them looooong time ago on first try, but I suck so much at Expert challenge, that I was not able to get even Bronze Medal on it. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.

Changes Coming to Chests
Mamoulian War commented on Aarik D's blog entry in Pathfinder Adventures Dev Blogs
Why not have both possibilities to purchase chests with gold and money at the same time? -
Imagine the ****storm if game developers advertised the game for $60, but then required you to buy $10 of "dealer add-ons" that they pre-purchased for you and irrevocably bundled together. Car dealerships push that instead. Never happened to me, I guess, that's probably illegal in EU or at least in my country.
-
Seriously. I do not understand the logic behind all of this nonsense. Just imagine the ****storm, if car makers would try to push something like that to market. They would go out of business imediately. But people have no problem accepting from AAA publishers smearing **** all over their face and happily ask for more, because they complain, that there was not enough of it to swallow, while applauding to them for their generosity, that they are allowed pay them more...

I had finaly weekend just for myself, so I have booted up Gran Turismo 5 after 3 years or so, again. First I finished 9 hours endurance race on Tsukuba, and on Sunday, I have finaly made all of the License tests with Gold Trophies. Was hard as hell especially I-B tests. In middle of the tests, my PS3 freezed and corrupted my save. I had almost heart attack. Thankfully, PD is competent enough, to have proper save backup implemented, so the only bad thing, which happened with it, was me spending another hour on I-B licenses.

I wish NISA would publish on GOG as well... Well at least I have all Disgaeas on various Playstation platforms

Same here. The only titles, which can be considered AAA, which I am buying nowadays are traditional JRPGs. But these games are becoming more and more niche titles with the passing of time as well. I am not complaining, because I am still having fun with all the indies and japanese games, but more variability in AAA industry would hurt no one.

Can't watch the trailer now, any release date mentioned? I loved Expeditions Conquistador! Can't wait to get it into my hands

I played all of the FF games strictly for its combat and summons in particular. I loved collecting those, it was my childhood's Pokemon of sorts. still remember how excited I was to get Ifrit for the first time in FFVIII. I can't believe it was almost 17 years ago. Same with me. FF for me is all about combat, superbosses and summons. I have finished all FF games except FFIII, IV-After years and XII-Revenant Wings. Unfortunately FFXV has gone the action route, which I really hate, but I am still hoping that the game will not suck walrus balls. If I'll be disapointed, it will be last FF game, for which I will pay full price.
