  1. And the final Final Bossfight of the game. Aldia, Scholar of the First Sin. This took me 16 tries, in which I've lost 90k souls from the previous one ๐Ÿ˜ข Took me some time to learn to avoid all his moves, especially the 4 homing fireballs... In one attempt, he made this move 3 times in a row ๐Ÿ˜• Anyway, the fight was nice closure of the whole adventure, which I've enjoyed a lot, with the exception of Shrine of Amana, Dragon Shrine and learning of Ancient Dragon fight ๐Ÿ˜„ I am curious, how I will fare in NG+ ๐Ÿ˜›
  2. The second of the final sequence of the bossfights for Dark Souls 2. Queen Nashandra. For a caster very easy fight. Only two attempts, despite absolutely not knowing how to destroy the curse beacons ๐Ÿ˜„ Not much to be said, only that I was surprised how easy the fight was ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
  3. Did someone chained you to chair, to endure so much pain? ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
  4. First of the final bossfight sequence uploaded on YT . The Throne Watcher and Throne Defender To my surprise, despite the encounter being double bossfight, the fight was easy and straightforward, with one big surprise in middle of the fight ๐Ÿ˜„One was weak to Sorcery, the other was weak to Hexes. All in all, with little bit running around and blocking and dodging to my shock, I was victorious on my first try ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
  5. Yesterday evening after 960 deaths, I was finally able to defeat Aldia, Scholar of the First Sin in Dark Souls II on my PS3, and I've finished the game for the first time ever. Most of the bosses, with the exception of Ancient Dragon were for my Sorcerer pretty easy to learn, but on some of them, my old bones were to slow to react, so I had to spent longer time wiping the floor there ๐Ÿ˜› . Then there were areas like Shrine of Amana and Dragon shrine, where the enemy placement was so ridiculous, that it raised my death counter to sky high levels ๐Ÿ˜„ . Shrine of Amana has become for me officially the worst Souls level ever, beating by a long margin even the Blighttown and 5-1 area of Valley of Defilement. I still need to get into NG++ to be able to get all of the trophies for the game, but I need small pause to relax on a less demanding game ๐Ÿ™‚ . Despite it's flaws I have enjoyed the game, mostly before Shrine of Amana, which made the game for a few hours like a slogging chore... But we'll see how NG+ will be going. Next game will be probably Journey on my PS4, just for relax I'll post my last three bossfights as soon as I'll finish sorting my recorded videos
  6. Thankfully, Iโ€™ve just finished the game with 960 deaths ๐Ÿ˜„
  7. Yeah, he looks very very slow, but thatโ€™s only because I have found his weak spot. When Iโ€™ve tried to engage him face to face, Iโ€™ve really struggled to dodge his occasional โ€œhyper modeโ€ and he usually ended me with one or two hits ๐Ÿ˜ž
  8. And bossfight number 29 in Dark Souls 2. Optional Boss King Vendrick. The biggest complication on this fight were my sore thumbs from all the wiping at Ancient Dragon ๐Ÿ˜„ The thumbsticks sometimes slipped me away from under my thumb tips, which were little bit painful sometimes ๐Ÿ˜„ It took me a lot of tries to find out his weakness. After that, Iโ€™ve needed around 15 attempts to execute it properly ๐Ÿ™‚ All in all, it took me 59 attempts He was just to fast for my old reflexes
  9. I think, the september might be the right time to dust off your Let's Play channel
  10. Ladies and Gentlemen, I think it might be good idea to stock up on popcorn, because soon, it will be among the rarest commodities on the market... And you wanna have some big pile of it at home, as Twitter will explode in September 2020...
  11. Warhammer 40000 Rites of War giveaway on GOG! With it also new games from the universe have come to the platform in a sale!!! https://www.gog.com/news/join_us_in_celebrating_the_warhammer_weekend_and_grab_a_free_game
  12. 2020 is definetelly doomed... I read just now, that Kanye resigned...
  13. Donโ€™t be afraid, if not now, Kanye will make it safe this November ๐Ÿ˜‰
  14. Not really, just the small increase in e-peen size ๐Ÿ˜„ It was 120000 souls, 1 upgrade material for boss weapon and 1 Giant Soul to make the Vendrick fight easier. And that soul was actually the most useful stuf, because I somehow sucked a lot at that fight as well. Would be probably hard for me to imagine him with bigger resistances without that 1 more soul... The biggest obstacle to skip that fight was my stubborness to beat all the content, the game has to offer ๐Ÿ˜„
  15. Well, when not fried like a crisp, that was the second most often way how I was put to rest by that overgrown lizzard ๐Ÿ˜„.
  16. I have now finally behind me the hardest bossfight, I have ever fought. Dark Souls 2 Ancient Dragon (if you do not use one of the cheesing strategies of course)... Compared to him, Kalameet in Dark Souls 1 is just like a little dragon baby... The mechanic of the fight is not that hard, the issue is complete unpredictability of his Rain of Fire ability... I have decided to not use cheese on him and learn how to fight him as was intended by the developers... Well, it took me much longer than expected... 139 tries in 4 gaming sessions across 3 days... 99% of the knockdowns was, because he have flown up to completely random position, and then fried my ass with his fire attack... My moves, which worked dozens upon dozens of times, provoked completely unexpected reaction of the AI in random situations... But well... He is now down, and I have nice 12 minutes long video of me running around like a headless chicken spamming spells ๐Ÿ˜„ Enjoy
  17. Looks like, I've hit a big wall in Dark Souls 2, yesterday 3 and half hours and more than 60 attempts at Ancient Dragon fight... His Fire Breath is a gamble, which hits me sooner or later and if it looks like I am able to outrun him through the whole attempt, he flies over the edge, and there is no way to outrun him... *sighs* Best attempt around 50% the worst attempt 5 seconds...
  18. Nope, not everyone loves Croteam, because SS3 is still not available on GOG!!!
  19. I can only recommend. Played both of them. Classical point and click adventure, in sci-fi horror setting.
  20. And another DS2 boss down. Darklurker. Not so difficult, not so easy for an old guy ๐Ÿ˜› The biggest issue was again the area to get to him, only 4 enemies, but I pulled by mistake more than one of them, it was immediate death. The second annoying thing was the requirement of 1 human effigy for each entrance to the area. I spent more than 20 ๐Ÿ˜ฉ until I've finished the fight. This time, I've defeated the boss on 9th try, but his mirror image was able to cast one more spell outside of my FoV, while the first was already down... I got Victory Achieved, I was yelling happy hell yeah, and right in middle of that, I got one Shadow Spear spell up my ass... You can imagine me cursing in that moment... It took me few more tries to start concentrating again, but in the end my 14th attempt was finally again successful... See bellow
  21. Might be the issue of Xbox. I have PS2, 3 and 4 and the only thing, which I have issue with is the online pay behind paywall. Everything else is manageable, because I have turned off automatic updates. Might be because I do not play multiplayer games at all, with exception of few races now and then... But yes PS5 did not sparked any interest for me so far... so you might be onto something...
  22. More Dark Souls 2 played with some small breaks. I am getting slowly to the endgame, so I am just picking up some loose ends. After ridiculous buttkicking in Dragon Shrine on the staircase to the Dragon lying there, I got some key item from him. IIRC Ashen Mist Heart. Some time ago, after visiting the Freja's room again I have found out some strange thingie, which I was unable to activate before, so I have tried to go there with the Heart and to my surprise I got in som kind of old dragon memory. After a while I've picked one thing there and went to open the doors locked by King's Ring in The Forest of Fallen Giants. There was the last bonfire I was missing and I went towards one old tree, which was sparkling. I've found few of them few weeks ago during my firsts visits to the area, but it has never happened anything when I have interacted with them. But the new thing was, that the tree was shining now. So I've touched it, and to my very big surprise, I got similar cutscene to the Dragon Memory. I got into something called Memory of Jeigh, where there was big fight between Giants and Hollows, with fire raining everywhere and stone heads rolling around... I have noticed, that it looks very similar to Pursuer arena, where there was one big broken head of statue lying around as well. And in the end, there was one big guy waiting on me. After I have move closer to him, I've found out, that it's another bossfight ๐Ÿ˜„ Well, I've run up the stairs, but died very shortly afterwards ๐Ÿ˜› The fight extremely easy, almost as easy as the Covetous Demon. But the main issue was big lag due to the fighting in the arena on the PS3 version of the game, which caused significant input lag... So it took me 12 tries to adjust to it, and finding the correct rhytm between his attack, me pushing buttons and my toon executing, what I've wanted from him ๐Ÿ˜› I got loooooooooooooooads of souls from this encounter and happily left the area after picking up the Soul of a Giant. Being happy and thinking what stats to spent all these souls, I've almost missed, that I was invaded by NPC summon... Royal Sorcerer Navlaan... Who promptly kicked my ass because I was almost out of all spells ๐Ÿ˜ข. Terrifying... So I've prepared my best pew pew, and run fast to my souls, hoping that I survive the second encounter. Thankfully he did not invaded right away, so I was able to pick them all promptly, and right after that, I've sent one big Soul Spear up to his face ๐Ÿ˜› After a while, I was victorious and used homeward back to Majula, to spent all of them, before I've repeat some stupid mistake like few years ago in Demon Souls, where I lost over 300k souls in the very first area of NG++ right after defeating the Old King Alant for the second time ๐Ÿ˜„ Final attempt at the boss bellow
  23. Yes, I have it already, and I am using it for Boss Fights. It just increases spell uses, but no spell damage. Still kind of useful for Soul Spear increase.
  24. Idiots will be always the most vocal people on the internet... But I am just wondering that there were no news about death threats to Josh Brolin because he wiped half life from the universe...
  25. Would you be so kind do elaborate on the topic in question, with little bit more detailed information?
