  1. And finally, the video of last DS2 NG+ bossfight. Mamoo the Sorcerer vs Aldia the Scholar 😛 For some reason, I have became to triggerhappy in this fight, and Aldia just fried my ass over and over with his crazy big fireballs. All in all 13 attempts were needed to me getting my **** together and defeat him for the second time.
  2. Third day of Shadowrun Hong Kong. I’ve spent more than 8 hours on the game already, but had only one mission of fighting (the first one of the game). This one is crazy text heavy compared to two previous entries... If this stays this way, Dragonfall will stay my favourite of the series 🙂 Playing Decker, so Is0bel stays out of party most of the time. And just recruited the Russian guy. I love, that they named his dron Koshchei 🙂 brings memories to some old russian fairytales, which I loved as a child 🙂
  3. How long are exactly these two games? I have them both on wishlist, but my backlog is huuuge 😞
  4. Next in line was Nashandra, this time 3 attempts, because I was somehow little bit tired and wanted to have Benhart stay alive until the end. In the end I somehow decided that I just stop fooling around and finish the fight anyway. Little bit less than 3 minutes long fight, enjoy
  5. I will be starting Shadow Run Hong Kong Extended Edition in few minutes. I have wanted to continue Dark Souls II into NG++ today, but kind of not really in the mood for that game at the moment Maybe because, I'll go to work tomorrow for the first time after my vaccation 😛Anyway, there are still three fights from NG+, with which I would like to show-off to you 😛 So here we are Again I arrived at Throne of Want, and first as always were the Throne Guys. This time, I've decided to summon both NPCs in front of fog gate, and fight with them this way. And as before, they went down on the first try in only 1 min 42 sec
  6. Hmm, that sounds highly logical. Isn't that illegal on the internet?
  7. I am ready, I just need to pick matching colour. Any advices?
  8. I bet, you have the “convenience” to buy the “right” loot in the DA:I store. Only 2.99$ 😄
  9. Aaaand it was time to visit Ancient Dragon again 😛 This time, I've decided to clear all mobs in the area, so I would not get any interruptions while trying to get to the boss. In NG it took me 139 attempts to defeat him, in NG+, he went down after 5 without any extra cheese When you learn all of the gimmicks of the fight, he became much less of the threat, and you are able to outmaneuver his randomness much easier
  10. *sighs* they completely abandoned FF formula, which made a lot of people fans of the series combat from trailer looks like copy paste from FFXV, including teleportations, but more flashy... So the chance that it will be another boring open world with nice graphics but no substance is pretty high...
  11. Another bossfight, which I've tried to postponed as much as possible was optional Darklurker. Not because his difficulty, but because of annoying way, who to get to the fight, and the need to use one humanity each time you die. To my surprise, the "gauntlet" to him in three areas needed to clear was much more casual friendly than in NG. Probably, because I had much better spell arsenal now Anyway, as before, one of the more interesting fights with enjoyable fight mechanics Three attempts and 1 minute 20 seconds in the final attempt were needed
  12. Despite no hints about that on developer's homepage, Vaporum: Lockdown ha been released today on GOG!!! https://www.gog.com/news/release_vaporum_lockdown Prequel to exquisite grid-based steampunk dungeon crawler made in Slovakia. Now go and help grow my country's GDP with the purchase 😛
  13. Next in line was again Vendrick. I could have gone against him right after Velstadt, but because how it went last time, I've decided to put him on hold temporarily. After getting lot of souls out of Guardian Dragon and Giant Lord for few more levels, I've decided to go at him for proper attempts. And the same as before, my reflexes were pretty much outmatched by this guy once in a while, so it took me 19 attempts to defeat him And in this attempt, there was also one close death call, which I still do not understand how he missed my toon 😄
  14. Right after Guardian Dragon, I ventured into Giant Memories, and after some talking with Benhart I’ve summoned him for the third fight in his personal quest chain. The fight with summon was super easy, barely an inconvenience, and he fell down on first try. After that, I went to meet Benhart again, and finished his questline. Reward was his nice equipment and one more trophy 🙂
  15. Now comes the plot twist:
  16. Sorry to keep you waiting for so long, but got few busy IRL days behind me, soo. I do not play DS3 simply because I have never played DS2 before this year. So my own comparison is that DS2 is for me harder to play than DS1. Keep in mind, I played both games on PS3, so in both instances, these games can be little bit laggy, and I have found out, that DS2 is little bit more laggier and that is an issue to me. Myself, I would recommend you to play both games, and DS1 first, due to different rolling mechanics, which IMO is worse in DS1. So if you start play DS2, you might not like to get back to DS1, despite it being IMO better game overall. And before you start to play, thing about your temper, how easily you can enrage, when defeated I can asure you, that DS series is not for easily enrageable people And for DS3, unfortunately, I have not played the game yet. Some people are saying, that is the best game of the series, some people are angry at that game, because of Poise stat change and prefer DS1 or DS2 because of that. @Hawke64 You are correct, the Ascetic worked in Majula, unfortunatelly I have still not found a single instance of a hint that it might work at Drangleic Back to the bossfights 😛 Next in line was again Guardian Dragon. As before, very easy encounter to fight, because he is extremely weak to Soul Magic. First try, and 1min 11s to get his soul *shrugs*
  17. Next in line was Velstadt. This time I've summoned Grave Keeper Agdayne, so it made the fight little bit easier. The biggest pain was again to get to the boss through the gauntlet 😛
  18. Are you sure about that, because something like this is written on two wikis I frequent ” Items and spells that he sells in NG++ must be in actual NG++. Using bonfire ascetics at the King's Gate bonfire will stimulate NG+ for all the enemies in the area but he will not sell the items and spells mentioned below until you have beaten at least 2 cycles of the game. ”
  19. Yesterday evening I've finished my second playthrough on New Game+ in Dark Souls II on my PS3. This time, because I knew most of the traps and also the bossfights, it took me only 292 deaths 😛 . The biggest issue to finishing the game was to my surprise Aldia, Scholar of the First Sin. The randomness of the fight, me being tired and triggerhappy meant, I needed for him 13 attempts. Not even Ancient Dragon made me so much troubles this time 😢 . More of my bossfight will be posted as soon as I upload them on YT All I am missing now are two trophies for Pyromancies and for Miracles. I think, to finish these trophies, I will go this time for very fast run into Drangleic Castle, where these spells are sold. Next game in line? Hmm I really do not know yet
  20. The last one from the Great Souls owners was The Lost Sinner. I was expecting much more resistance, because I knew, there were two more Pyromancer Black Phantoms added to the fight mid-fight, but Lucatiel did very good job of tanking. All in all it took me just one try to defeat her. In less than 2 minutes. After that, Lucatiels quest was at the successful end, and I could finally go and pick up her reward, her armour set and weapon
  21. I am still missing two trophies, and for that, I need to get to NG++ Chancellor Wellager 😛 And to be honest, now, that I better understand the game and have better build, I am enjoying the game much more, than the NG 😄
  22. After finishing the frog boss, I've finally had enough Souls to level up my faith up to 52, to be able use Soothing Sunlight Miracle and I've decided to give The Rotten another try My personal challenge to the fight was, to keep both summons alive until the end of the fight It was more challenging than I've expected, but I was able to get him down on 5th try, and with that, I've fulfilled all prerequisites for Lucatiel's Quest Took me little bit less than 3 minutes including the intro 😛
  23. And I've arrived in New Game + again into Shrine of Amana... As stupid as in NG, but thankfully, I were much better prepared and brought a lot of arrows and spells to the area, and sniped most of the enemies. Still I made some stupid mistakes, and died few times with a lot of souls left behind. After a while, I've arrived at Demon of Song again. My concentration was not the best that day, so it took me good 4 tries. The last one took little bit less than 2 minutes, and looked easy 😄 After that, I just went to bed to take a nap 😛
