  1. Same happened with me, when I randomly bought in my local store years and years ago Yakuza 4 on PS 3 from a discount bin After that, It became my favourite game series of all time
  2. As a surprise ninja release, 2nd chapter of Indonesian indie RPG Celestian Tales. I enjoyed the first one enough to recommend this one as well. https://www.gog.com/news/release_celestian_tales_realms_beyond
  3. Yup, they've trademarked some time ago their in-house program, Mo-Cupping .
  4. I think, you have forgotten about the champions of balls and dong physics in entertainment industry, the makers Red Dead Redemption 2. Well, it would need little bit of adjustments for smaller than horse proportions, but I believe, they already have all of that in their hands...
  5. Yes, but you forgot, that all this games you mentioned, were released before the fountation of the Righteous Twitter mob
  6. Then maybe Fairy Tail? Not released yet afaik.
  7. In most cases, I would agree. The best combination is free camera on the world map, and prerendered dungeons, but unforrunately, even Atelier games went for full free camera lately. Though Ryza was not affected to much by it imho.
  8. Tales of Zestiria, Tales of Vesperia.
  9. Next game on my 2020 finished list is Vaporum from GOG. Steampunk dungeon-crawler RPG made in Slovakia. After I've found out, that this game was made in my home country, I purchased it immediately, and started to play few days later. I was not satisfied that much about game purchase in very long time. All what I have expected from the game was delivered and some things have been surmounted. AI on normal difficulty was satisfying, enemies challenging and puzzles were doable with little bit of thinking. The only one, which outmatched me, was the teleport puzzle in The Office level, where I was not able to find out any visual hooks to teleport in correct order to the final switch. Also the game was balanced pretty good for older people, with slower reflexes . Few timed puzzles were on the edge, but they added time stop feature to help you out. Although I haven't used it, I see that feature as a big plus for elderly gamers. The biggest negatives for me was little bit to dark levels for my linking, few of the hidden buttons were impossible to be found without map guides and me being to rusty for this type of games Still most of the secrets were easier to find than in Grimrock 1 for example. EDIT: In few weeks there should be released prequel Vaporum: Lockdown, which I'll be awaiting with open arms and wallet
  10. No time to read atm, unfortuntately. Is this a company from the original talent, or just Microprose in name only like Atari?
  11. Vaporum levels 10 and 11. This was really painful. Lot of tough enemies, lot of teleporters and lot of ultra hidden buttons to find. Thankfully I had enough energy to overheal the damage from the mobs. Else I would still be dieing while trying to find my daughters teddy bear These two levels caused the game to go from solid 5/5 to 4/5. We'll see what awaits me in the last level...
  12. I have finished today two more connected levels in Vaporum, The Riddle of Steel and the Boiling Point, both levels were pretty dark, and the secret buttons were hidden so good this time, that out of 7 secrets, I had to peek into maps 3 times to find them all But two of them were just me being completely blind, because they were kind of not very hard to spot. But the last one, even with the map, I was not seeing it, and I would probably be still searching for it, if I did not luckily hover over it with my mouse button...
  13. I don’t know. When I was young, Street of Rage series was my absolute favourite beat em up, I am happy, that it got released, because the industry needs variety, but I somehow lack the enthusiasm to hit that buy button. It might be because of my crazy big backlog though
  14. The only one, which seems to be vanished with absolute zero info about its current state, which interests me, is Tales of Arise. But I doubt tabloid like IGN has any clue about that game. Not planning to give them my click, because I do not want to destroy my recommendations feed on YT, unless someone already seen it, and can confirm that they speak about it as well
  15. I’ve just finished the fourth level in Vaporum. The story slowly gave few new hints on who I might be, and the enemies are getting harder and harder. I’ve died a lot of time to them Also, there was one puzzle on which I got stuck little bit, due to me not seeing one pretty tricky hidden button I love the game, just still feeling very rusty playing this kind of genre
  16. Also on GOG if you prefer this storefront more https://www.gog.com/news/release_streets_of_rage_4
  17. Sounds like that time, when COVID-19 was rampant on Earth...
  18. Started to play Vaporum. Grid-Based RPG Dungeon Crawler, made in Slovakia. The game is pretty good. Better, than anticipated so far, but yeah, I think I am to old for this game sometimes, I just click on wrong buttons or die, because of slow reflexes Still, I love it I went through first two levels yesterday on normal difficulty. The puzzles were so far pretty straightforward, and I was able to find all of the secrets. I picked up Thauge body-kit, or what was it's name It is something like Steampunk Mage class. But still a lot of melee is needed in it
  19. New standalone expansion of Atom RPG in Soviet setting is comming to GOG soon. https://www.gog.com/news/coming_soon_atom_rpg_trudograd
  20. Crank 3 confirmed?
  21. I purchased Vaporum right after I have found out, that the game was made by Slovakian company. Me loving grid based dungeon crawlers is a big plus
  22. Here you go: https://www.gog.com/news/preorder_desperados_iii_digital_deluxe_edition
  23. I hope they'll do, I really liked the first two Shadowrun games. HK is still on my backlog though.
  24. I am currently playing Safe at least some data out of computer which was tonight on fire (literally on fire, like burning, with real flmes) Thankfully it was not mine, but customers, unfortunally for them. All of that happened right after I spent more than 6 hours in last two days of applying mandatory updates over slow remote connection and another 4-6 hours of my colleagues work troubleshooting some stuff after the customer did some upgrades to its stuff at lab... Last backup, which did not get destroyed by fire is almost two years old. So now, after recovering all of the data, I’ll have to do everything, what I’ve done in the last two years again. The funny thing is, that there was only two PCs compatible with the customers specs in the whole country, thankfully both of them not scrapped yet. First one 2 hours away and the second one 4 hoirs away. And of course, the first one got damaged over the transport *insert Luke Skywalker Nooo! meme here* All in all, the customer contacted me at 7am, and because all of that **** hitting the fan, the first work on the recovery method could be started only around 6pm *cheers* (not really) Probably, I will have to spend whole weekend with rebuilding ****, because the lab can not perform their routine testing without this specific computer. Lucky me... /rant off EDIT: and that was posted to the completely wrong thread lol sorry guys, installation of the software is finally done
