  1. Nice screenshot. The above report was confirmed by another user (Sayne) in the linked thread: "This happened to me probably a month ago when I defeated him [...] yes I've experienced it too." wiki link to item: https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Akola%27s_Apex_Ward As this seems similar to the linked Kapana Taga bug thread, perhaps all unique items that drop as loot during ship boarding are bugged? Therefore, other items for OBS QA / devs to check would include: Gipon Prudensco https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Gipon_Prudensco Wicked Beast https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Wicked_Beast
  2. Arcane Knight seems... interesting. Kind Wayfarer + Flames of Devotion + Greater Lay on Hands could do primary healing for a party?
  3. What abilities do you all think are "worth it" to singleclass just to get that skills at L8/9? I enjoyed some monk skills back in v1.0 but they have since been nerfed. Is anything up there a game-winner now at veteran or PotD?
  4. I've been thinking about this some more. My main char will need 18-20 perception as he will be the only regular reliable source of perception in the party. So what's a PotD build that can multiclass with wizard, provide primary source of party healing, and have 18+ perception?
  5. Great to hear from someone else who also rolled with Eder and barb Serafen! Wiz does seem like a strong pick here, but, they can't heal people -- so multiclass with priest or druid or maybe paladin or bard? What gives the best synergy, yet effective heals, with a wiz multiclass?
  6. Based on the posts above, I'm sold on Serafen as pure barb with 2h weapon. Melee modals, hmm. You have to be up in the face of the enemy and swinging with that weapon to apply the modal effect, correct? You can't apply melee modals "at a distance" with skills? If so, that would suggest that I somehow make main char a melee, so that main char / eder / serafen can cover most all of the modals that Hiero mentioned above. But having a summoner or healing capability on the MC would be nice too. Then the rotating 2 companions can focus on DPS. Still pondering this. Thanks for the comments, keep 'em coming!
  7. I beat the game on veteran when it originally came out, before any DLC or major patches. Main char was single class monk for that run. My next run will be a new PotD start and I'll do all the DLC. RTwP game. I'll be siding with Principi, playing a pirate. In my party, I'll have: Main char Eder - swashbucker melee (full time) Serafen - Barbarian OR Witch (full time) 2 rotating slots for characters to do their quests, have them around for areas where they have more dialogue, etc. Won't be able to depend on anything here, just random dps/support. Given my plan and PotD difficulty, how should I build main char and Serafen? Serafen as barbarian melee? Witch gun-user? Witch melee? Main char as healer? Main char as multiclass tank? Main char as ranged dps? I really don't know what to do, and I haven't played PotD at all in POE2 yet. All I know for sure is that I *don't* want main char as monk, rogue, or barbarian. How can I make this work? Can anyone link builds they'd recommend for Serafen or main char, given the rest of my party plans? Thanks!
  8. The original post only has 1 build for version 4.0 or above (but lots of builds for version 1.x). I really like this thread in general but I would totally love it if anyone who knows what they're talking about build-wise can thoroughly update the original post for version 4 builds! It could be a great resource for new (console release coming eventually) and returning players. I'd contribute myself but I haven't really played since 1.0.
  9. Is the original post still fully correct and complete as of patch 4.1? Great resource for new/returning players. Thank you to people who worked on all this!
  10. Is the original post still fully correct and complete as of patch 4.1? Great resource for new/returning players. Thank you to people who worked on all this!
  11. Great update! I hope TB mode helps console sales of POE2. I'm really looking forward to patch 4.1.1 or 4.2 with bug fixes (I still play RTwP mode) and the seemingly-inevitable "champion edition" release!
  12. I'd like to thank everyone who is still making wiki edits. Updates will be a great resource to anyone who plays through the game for the first time on console, or does a second run-through now that all the DLC are out!
  13. I hope a fix is coming for Pallegina randomly deciding to leave the party because you offended her and the VTC. Just happened to me in 4.0.1 shortly after receiving the missive from Llengrath that starts the Forgotten Sanctum, while sailing the seas and doing nothing else interesting. Save game was a pre-endgame save state where the version of the save has been slowly updated since 1.0.
  14. Attention other game devs: this is what great post-launch support looks like!
  15. Great patch. Already looking forward to the next in the 4.x.x series!
  16. OBS, I'd just like to know you've downloaded this so I can remove it from my Drive. Thanks.
  17. Report: I had loaded a save game in Kahunga palace and was testing some things in combat. I then loaded a different save, on a boat in the ocean, and the game crashed. In the .zip file at this link, I include the complete auto-generated crash dump directory, an additional dxdiag file, and the save game that I was loading when it crashed. One possible difference: I re-saved the sea save game after a successful load, so the save's internal format may have changed from 1.2.0-hotfix to 1.2.2. download link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=117KbuctXSUCAZmgQuHrVr3AHMAWhuLQA Contains crash.dmp, error.log and output_log.txt so please actually download this Obsidian, thanks!
  18. i tried that too, did not help. Good idea though, I know it can fix other problems for people sometimes.
  19. Steam PC version. I downloaded/installed Scalawags DLC, and Steam shows it as "in library" and "installed" for POE2. I can launch POE2 and the "savage" pose is available in-game, so I know the DLC is actually installed. I have re-installed multiple times and re-started Steam just to be sure. But in the menu UI, the DLC is greyed out and not checkmarked, suggesting it is not installed. It looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/oKtrX2f.jpg So the main menu thinks Scalawags is not installed, when it actually is installed.
