Bad guys... or good guys when I played a darksider. Other than Tie Fighter the KotORs were the first real star wars games I played for any length of time, and I enjoyed the lightsaber combat in both games.

I've beat the first one several times, yet couldn't bring myself to finish even the demo of the 2nd one. S'yeah. Maybe the demo just was really really bad and the rest of the game ok. Thanks for the input. Another deciding factor for me is that I'm playing Skyrim, with Deus Ex:HR waiting in the wings, and TOR on the way soon. Plus I still have to finish Rage and Dead Island. Gah, I hate steam sales making me want things.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II on sale today. Metacritic reviews were not encouraging, but ultimately my favourite parts of KotOR and KotOR II - at least on replay - were slicing up bad guys and using force powers. 10 Gb download will eat up a fair chunk of my monthly bandwidth, so am a little hesitant. Has anyone played the PC version? Is it worth 5 bucks?

Are you joking or something? Of course not. I bought Deus Ex to play Deus Ex. I didn't buy it to install Steam. This isn't the first time either that this has happened. I still haven't touched the Orange Box either after i found out that installing Steam was required. Yes, i still haven't played Portal. Point being is that i feel duped and can now understand the reason why someone would pirate it even if they have a legal copy. Personally, I wouldn't have bought it in the first place if i knew that steam was required. Maybe i just should return the damn thing instead. //EDIT: No matter, i'll return it for the xbox-version instead. Steam requirement is listed on the back of the box.

Just started my Skyrim game. It looks very pretty.

I dunno, one of the best scenes in Expendables was the conversation between Arnie and Sly and Bruce.

I'd just like to step in here and mention that until Crosby passes him in 4-5 games, Phil Kessel leads the league in both goals and points. I can't remember the last time a Leaf did that seven weeks into the season. I probably hadn't been born yet.

Been playing File Backup: Download All Your Drivers Edition over the last couple days. Funny, no matter how many times I play this game, I never get that satisfaction of accomplishing something as I do from other games, and yet I keep going back to it again and again. Ah well, soon after my new SSD arrives, I'll have a clean install of windows on which to play Deus Ex:HR and Skyrim. I guess that's where the satisfaction will kick in.

I did the same as you, regarding Razor, and anything I saw wouldn't have spoiled much of the show If I'd watched it earlier, but there were definitely moments where I'd have said, 'oh yeah that happened in Razor.' Don't want to do that this time around, so thanks And yep I've heard the ending of the show left a lot of people unhappy. Honestly that's part of the reason I avoided getting the box set for so long.

For whatever reason, I never watched Battlestar Galactica when it was on TV, but am working my way through the series now. I'm just about halfway through the final season, and realized The Plan is included as a second disc in the case for Disc 4, Season 4.0. According to anything I read previously, The Plan wasn't supposed to be included into the Complete Series box set, but there it is. My thought is, if The Plan is included here, should I watch it before starting season 4.5, or wait until after I've finished the whole thing? I've enjoyed the series immensely so far (except for ), and I really don't want to spoil anything about how it all ends.

So, while Phil Kessel can be amazing all the time,* Ben Scrivens' awesomeness is limited to the central division. Well, two points is two points, and gladly taken. Even better news is Reimer is close to returning. Can't happen soon enough, if only to keep Burke from pulling Turco out of mothballs. *except against the Bruins.

Still playing Rage. A Combat Shotgun loaded with Pop Rockets is a satisfying way to kill things.

Hm, I entered the first sewers just after I'd picked up the first vehicle. Didn't have too much trouble with it. Hm, I stood right near the entrance and killed muties till they stopped. Then they didn't start up again until i moved. They stopped after I'd killed a bunch. Then when I moved into the tunnel more started up.. I stayed still, killing them as they came on.. then they stopped. I walked up and found the bones. Thanks guys, heading off to the sewers now. Have to say it may be awhile before I get back to playing Dead Island. Rage is becoming an addiction.

Splitting time between Dead Island and Rage. Not sold on Dead Island yet. I think I prefer shooting zombies over bashing them in the head, but I've heard the game gets a lot better once I get into the city, so I'll stick with it awhile. Just completed my first quest in Rage. With the 11.10 catalyst beta drivers the game runs incredibly smoothly (so far) and I'm enjoying it. If anyone here has the Anarchy edition I'm curious about when would be a good time to enter the wasteland sewers without getting my ass kicked.

Is anyone playing Achron yet? Someone mentioned it somewhere here not too long ago, and it looked interesting enough to bookmark the site. I see it's available on steam now and was hoping for some Obsidianite feedback.

Well, as always, to each their own. I never played a minute of multiplayer, and I loved the game... although admittedly it was Zombie Island of Dr Ned that really sold me on it.

Impossible As for myself, I picked up C&C 3 for $6, and Dead Space and Dead Space 2 for $20. With those and DNF and DS3 I should be good for awhile.

Thanks for the C&C replies everyone. An 8 Gb download is a bit steep for me, but I'm going to give C&C 3 a try anyway. EDIT: Okay so it's only a 5800 Mb download. Better and better.

Just noticed this. Also Red Alert 3 and C&C 3 for just a few bucks each. Tiberian Sun pretty much killed my interest in these two series, but are they worth getting?

How about getting rid of Lebda? Leafs shipped him and Robert Slainey out for Cody Franson and Matthew Lombardi. There is also a conditional 4th going either way depending on if Lombardi manages to play more than 60 games over the next two years. Lebda was a -3 in in a 9-3 Leafs win over the Thrashers last season. Lebda for Lombardi alone would have been fantastic. That we got Franson as well? So much win.

Never much liked Connolly either, but then maybe disliking the guy who played for a rival is a good thing. I mean, I didn't like Mogilny when he played in Buffalo either. Anyway, better Connolly for two years than Richards for nine.

My game time was severely cut down over the past few days, but it's cleared up again. I'm hoping to finish up Duke Nukem either today or tomorrow. I hated anything to do with the antlions - except the beginning of Nova Prospekt - but I much enjoyed the rest of the stuff on the coast. If I could swap the car from episode 2 for the dunebuggy I'd like it even more.
