Maybe the body found in the grave "one month later" isn't the PC. Maybe the PC has been replaced with another body, for an as yet unknown reason.

After playing through DA:O a couple times, I left it alone for awhile (ME2 and AP beckoned), but I've recently gone back in order to finally play Awakenings. I like it, even though some of it gets tedious on subsequent plays.
-
Yep, it was fun once.
-
Sten also had dreadlocks instead of horns, and honestly he must have been the runt of the litter or something.
-
This. If there had been a "Skip the Temple" mod, like the "Skip the Fade" mod for DA:O, I would played IWD2 several more times. Ah well, onward brave adventurers.

If I can't have a steamy sex scene with an amazonian qunari female, where the entire romantic buildup is her making me fear for my physical well-being when the relationship is finally consummated, then I'm not buying DA2! ahem... err... I mean, Bio has kinda painted themselves into a corner with regards to qunari women, if Sten's descriptions of qunari society and attitude towards women are anything to go by. Although, since qunari physical appearance is getting a rewrite, then who knows?

Just received an e-mail from amazon.ca

Glad to hear Leliena's Song was good. I haven't touched any of the ME 2 DLC so far except for the initial release stuff. What have you thought of it so far? The Hammerhead is a great idea in theory, but I don't think it's implemented as well as it could be. At times I was wishing for the Mako. The missions are short, and the hovercraft is weak. I understand it makes a reappearance in Overlord, so maybe they fixed it up a bit. Kasumi is worth the price. The mission is interesting, as is her character, although interacting with her is limited (a la Zaeed). I haven't tried all the weapon and armor DLCs, and don't care about the alternate appearance stuff. Of what I've tried I'd consider only the arc projector to be a don't-leave-Normandy-without-it kinda weapon.

Mass effect 2 and Dying True Rpgs

KoTOR was fun, no denying it, and I even played it twice. Also, not to take anything away from KoTOR II, which was a better game, I wish it had been a more direct sequel. I also wish KoTOR III had been made to wrap everything up in a nice trilogy. That said, I lost count of how many times I played ME. It was also the first game since PS:T that, while I was playing, I didn't want to stop until I saw what happened next. Someone here posted awhile back that they played ME through in one marathon session. I wasn't that bad, but it was close. To me that makes ME more fun than KoTOR. -
I finally got around to playing Leliana's Song the other day and it was enjoyable. I'm also going to pick up Witch Hunt and Shadow Broker next week. I really have to get back into ME2 again, as I haven't played the Overlord DLC yet. I played ME2 so much when I first bought it that I burned out on it, but it'll be time to start a new game soon. I wouldn't say that I liked DA:O's combat exactly. It's just that from what I've heard/seen/read of DA2's combat, I think I'll prefer DA:O, but I'm withholding judgement until I get some review feedback.

I've really got to get back into Borderlands again. I dunno why but it always gets put on the back burner for something else.

I loved the game up to... well, just a little past this point. Targos, the drums, the bridge. It was like one long battle without a chance to catch your breath, and yet it had great maps and atmosphere, and never really felt like a grind. Then... the ice temple. I'm happy to just be a spectator now.
-
Maybe you just weren't close enough to the dragon when you tried the horn?
-
That was truly epic. Thanks for the entertainment Tigranes. Looking forward to seeing IWD2. I only ever completed it once, back when it first came out, and all I really remember is the Ice Temple *shudder*

Lord, those drowned dead were a pain. I'm playing through DA:O right now, with the hopes of finally getting around to finishing up Awakenings, and just looking at these screens brings home how awesome those 2D painted backgrounds really were.
-
I would have added that as a mage, you can free the Circle from the control of the Templars. Now IF DA2 were actually a direct sequel to DA:O that likely would have an impact, but now it's meaningless.
-
This. . Gah. I don't normally yell at the screen when I'm playing a game, but damn.
-
Ahh, Severed Hand with all those shadowy orcs and goblins, and then regular undead. Tough but fun times.
-
The adventurers may not be, but I'm looking forward to the Severed Hand. That in particular felt like one long tough fight for every bit of progress.
-
ToEE, because I never played it.

Like in Space:1999, but without the radioactive explosions.
-
This is very cool. Nice work. I'm getting all nostalgic for the IE games.

I thought the first batch of screens looked good, but these look fantastic Second from the bottom is my new desktop... until the higher rez screens and official wallpapers are out, that is. -
I was disappointed as well in the lack of impact from the different origins at various points throughout the game. Just pointing out that there was as much for the dalish and mage origins as any of the others.

Howe for noble humans, the nobleman guy who tried to rape the elves in the city elf origin (he's in Howe's dungeon I think). There was none for mages, which a demon would had fitted the bill and reinforced the fact that possession was an ever present danger. None for the Dalish, and frankly all that the rest had was a different introduction to the same fight you would had faced if you had another origin. There was a lot that DA:O didn't deliver IMO they should fix that for DA2 instead of trying to make a completely different game. Although does appear regardless of your origin, I'd say he qualifies as a mage nemesis, at least as much as the city elf dude qualifies. The dialogue's a little different anyway. Also, reappears later in the game when for the Dalish origin.
