  1. Ummm...200 something and 14.79% guess I'm not all that geeky.
  2. Nobody just talks out their differences anymore. Guy's ok though, right?
  3. I haven't played in a pretty long while...if anybody wants to, I'm bored a lot, and perfectly willing to own you. Big talk from a guy who barely manages more kills than deaths every game, huh? Edit: I can't connect to the server.
  4. Wow, what happened to the guy in back with the black eye?
  5. Child's "asshattery" isn't unusual...and is actually quite entertaining. He just reacts to stupidity with a nice little insult or two. Perfectly reasonable, IMO. This new guy is just.....hell, he annoys even me. Acting like he is just doesn't help, and only serves to piss people off. My advice is to behave, shut up, and move on. Now for something constructive: Don't do what moreKOTORplz is doing and you'll be fine. If this constitutes as flaming, my apologies...just had to dig my car out of a snowy ditch to get home and I'm a bit fed up with morons for the day.
  6. Deus Ex: IW is sequel where the soundtrack was its own compared to the original. The only tune that was the same was the theme, the rest of songs were completely new. Halo 2's soundtrack on the other hand, had too many similarities compared to the original. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Doesn't mean the quality diminished.
  7. I haven't noticed any such errors, but "clipping" errors also tend to happen more when the system and especially the graphics card runs hot. It's a pretty mean machine you have, could be that cooling was playing a trick on you. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The scene runs fine when I first install, but after I play the game a few times, it just falls apart. My card isn't running hot either. I don't get it. It did this with my last computer too.
  8. I'm most likely a minority...but I liked Marty O'Donnel's stuff from the Halo 2 soundtrack. I just thought they fit well in the context of the game, and added to the sense of atmosphere. That, and the song placement within the game was great. Nothing quite like nailing a Jackal between the eyes with a beam rifle the instant the bass kicks in on "Impend". Rememberance and the Last Spartan The artist is Eric Brosius. My alltime favorite, as he did some of this stuff: http://www.thief-thecircle.com/media/music/ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ooh. Me like. Edit: With the bloodlines licenced music folder...can I add songs to that? Or to any of the other folders, for that matter? I'd like a wider variety in songs...
  9. P4 HT - Extreme Dual 3.2 Mhz, Radeon X850XT PE 256MB, 2 GB of memory, and a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS. Game runs fine most of the time, but still, slow downs in rain, and in specific areas, like the beach at Santa Monica. I've got it at 1024x768 with all the highest graphics settings I can find. I don't get it...a memory leak can't be that, bad can it? Oh, and am I the only one who's intro scene constantly screws up...I mean like clipping, scenes not happening at the right time, and basically, the entire opening being screwy?
  10. I know, doesn't it just fill your heart with love for Activision?
  11. I knew that, Paladin, but thanks for the info, regardless. Still, I don't get how, or why, the alien spirits "stole" the spirits of the earth's denizens. And, along that train of thought, what happened to those spirits which were taken? Just didn't make any sense to me.
  12. I liked it too...it was beautifully done, and deserved more acclaim than it was granted. Keeping in mind, however, that I've never played a FF game to fruition, and have very limited experience with the franchise. I also found SW's plot to be a bit laughable at points...and cohesion was a problem. I'll see AC when I get bored enough to download it, so in other words, any day now.
  13. Me either. Weird. And I was on the lookout for hostiles, too. Can't believe I'm that unobservant.
  14. I actuallly thought it was easier to aim. Go figure.
  15. That's just plain horrifying.
  16. Indeed. We are all slaves to the whim of our lord, Hades. His will is law. He is god. Bow to the might of the infinite one.
  17. Unless realism is the aim in the first place, No it isn't.
  18. I haven't had that problem. Use the sights when need be, or fire in bursts. Full-auto isn't your friend when using an MG.
  19. CoD 2 is a guns'a'blazin' type of game. What works for one genre doesn't for another. ^_^
  20. Agreed...save for a few teensy little things. Usually, a sniper gets one or two shots before being killed by the MG guy charging him, and weaving around like a jackass. It takes skill to nail the bastard in those few shots...not to hose his general area and score a lucky headshot. I sort of liked the Regenerating health dealy. As has been said...scampering around after a battle, looking for the odd health pack, or trying to find some idiot medic can be exceedingly tedious. I want to get to the action as quickly as possible, thank you.
  21. ...Sounds decidedly un-fun. A fighting chance would be appreciable. Yes, I own CoD 2. I love it. Beautiful scenery, great events, nice voice acting...etc. If you're going to get this game, for god sakes, get it for PC. Aiming is so much easier...either that, or I'm talented. Hell, I can nail 5 people in 5 shots with my faaaaaavorite gun, the Kar.
  22. That's pretty much how it is right now. A plasma rifle round doesn't do as much damage as a fully charged plasma pistol...etc. The shields have a recharge feature though. In Halo 2, a few shots after your shield is gone and you're dead; no health level or anything.
  23. If I wanted that, I'd buy a gun myself and go out for a night on the town. What you're saying seems a bit excessive, but works well for certain games, within the context of said game...like Rainbow Six 3. It wouldn't really work in a game like Halo, considering the shield and full body armor. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well you realize of course that this should be how it is in Call of duty two right? But it's not... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes. I thought that was included in the "within the context of the game" thing.

  25. OMG...maybe...cybering...
