  1. Just toss out amounts and the like, though it doesn't really matter, it's always good to keep tabs. "Somebody special" could be a boyfriend, girlfriend, family member, or etc. I'll start...since July, I've spent a good $800 on one girl, and it's about to hit $1000 after Valentine's Day. Doesn't seem like much, but given that I have no job, and am existing off saved up cash, it looks like a lot to me. Then again...to me, it's just money...so long as she smiles that sweet smile and her eyes light up like they do, I'll keep paying. Sad part is that I enjoy it. Anyways...this is a pitiful excuse for a topic, I know, but I'm bored...so.......woo.
  2. Lunch: A bacon cheeseburger and lemon iced tea. (I needed caffeine...) Oh, and about Ragnos' sig... :">
  3. Tea and a cinnamon bagel. Yum.
  4. Fallout is not D&D and it is an RPG. KOTOR is not D&D and it is an RPG. Vampire: Bloodlines is not D&D and it is an RPG. Ultima is not D&D and it is an RPG. Avernum is not D&D and it is an RPG....etc ad nauseum. But Diablo isn't. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I love the game...but gotta admit, he's right on this.
  5. Why does that sound so good now?
  6. Where are the wonderful parts? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Every part.
  7. Thanks. And nice Kim ya got there.
  8. *cough* I have no idea what kind of game you
  9. No love for analog flat screens? I love this thing.
  10. All this talk of the old BI games is making me want to re-install IWD2 and BG2. Don't think I've ever played them to completion...I'd get stuck somewhere and not know how to continue...and odds are it's a pretty simple thing I just didn't notice at the time. NWN and it's expansions too, haven't played them in a long while, despite the apparent consensus that it...well...sucks. And DS too. And I should give Morrowind a bit of playing time...hmmm. The worst I can recall was Crusaders of Might and Magic...it just.......it was awful. Graphically decent, but the gameplay and level design were terrible. Arx Fatalis also comes to mind, mostly because I couldn't figure out what in the hell to do...and why some people seemed to like it. ...and there's enough Diablo hating going on in here to make Tyrael shed tears of blood.
  11. I like the whole omnipotent thing...and crushing villages with gigantic boulders....and flinging villagers hundreds upon hundreds of meters out into the ocean, where they'd kick, scream, and eventually drown, leaving a small skeleton to float around......but the gameplay beyond that just sucked. So do I. And I should probably pick Sacred up, come to think of it.
  12. Think Diablo. If you like that type of game, you'll probably like Sacred.
  13. First questions that come to mind: What job? Why'd you quit? And What now?
  14. You just described 3/4 of the total topics here. Doesn't mean they can't be entertaining...as is illustrated above.
  15. Yep, you're right. I still play the original Diablo from time to time online. It's true that Blizzard tends to take time in releasing their titles...but damn it, it's been 8 or 9 years now. News of some kind would be appreciated...*hint hint*. And why, in the name of all things, is Starcraft: Ghost a console only title? That seems to directly defy sense.
  16. It could be that they're not sure how to make it as awesome (storywise) as the first. They've pulled most of Starcraft's tricks in Warcraft 3 etc but people pretty much agree War3's campaign was uninspiring. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Could very well be...since from what I've seen of them, Blizzard tends to put quality first in their titles. (No laughs, I was serious.) Personally, I thought WC3's campaign was pretty decent, but since it's another world and I never really found that series to be too interesting, I can't really use it to judge SC2's potential storywise.
  17. Oh, it'll be made...hell they'd break the million mark for sure, or perhaps two...maybe 3. Who wouldn't want to cash in on that?
  18. The almost inaudible droning of my computer's fans... Oh... Creed - Never Die
  19. Nope,...not yet <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There's 10 books in all, so be ready to invest a lot of time.
  20. Anybody read the Amber Chronicles? It's an odd...long series, but I liked it over all.
  21. This is...disturbing.
  22. ^ Smartest person here.
  23. Agreed...though it might cost a bundle to hold two seperate events.
