From the sounds of it, she likes you. Well my opinion is most likely pretty biased. I only played versus the AI and no multiplayer (ahem, i mean you test drive a car before you buy it amirite..). But anyways combat just left a really really bad taste in my mouth. It was just way too slow and non climactic. I liked the level system for capital ships but it was just like battle tactics made me angry becuase ships moved really slow or they'd run away and time warp back and forth between planets when I'd follow. And killing planets, horribly lame. I suppose I'm just too spoiled by warcraft 3. Plus I've never played a game like civ or anything thats slower paced. I know you can speed up the pace, I had mine at normal and I was just unimpressed by the game. I think I heard it was pretty much made by a garage team, which I mean is wonderful, they did a spectacular job on it given the resources they had but I guess I'm kind of a snob. So this post doesn't get thrown into whole other section of the forum. I got a 94 on my com exam and a 14/15 on my accounting exam. I also called about the job that I wanted to do in my earlier post in which I hinted at killing myself via Nyquil overdose but no one seemed to care and I guess they weren't hiring. The only thing keeping me holding on is tonights lost episode, my comic idea (drafting a story board and a few drawings for my friend to hopefully pimp out and draw them not horrible) and then posting that on 4chan later in the week and getting a few "posting in an epic thread"'s, and then saturday morning cartoons. Edit: Walshingham something similar happened but not really. I was doing a good deed, helping my friend move this heavy dresser from his house since he's moving and we come outside. This girl is in her truck and some guy is like right in her face outside almost screaming "You're taking my kids from me. You're taking my kids away from me." Just repeating that. We go inside, I'm looking around for a blunt object to murder some guy if things go out of hand, when my friend's cat playfully attacks me. So I mess around with his crazy kitten for like 10 minutes and then we go outside and things have calmed down and then we left. And as for the avatar, I've thought about going avatar and sig plenty a time but I kind of like having no identity other than the name. Kind of like tale and a few others. It's nice but I suppose you wish I could make something appropriate.

Yeah I enjoy this thread as well. I love development diaries, even of games that I have no interest in. It's just the front lines of the development cycle are pretty cool since art people are crazy or really annoying, or both.

I have an exam tomorrow for communications but it should be easy then I'm going to call about a job teaching the little bastard children in middle/high school how to do math. But in reality its just a front to mac on underaged chicks, amirite walsh amirtie?!!? But seriously giving back to the community feels nice when you get paid 10 an hour doing something so simple. I'm just worried it will be filled or they'll realize I'm a complete sociopath who can't be warm and personable. That'll be really bad because I'll have to either go extreme desperate and go for some crappy stocking job at a super market or just take a hard look in the mirror and decide that life isn't worth living anymore. When you haven't worked for 2 and a half years and you can't even get an entry level job with the recommendation of a friend who has been working there for a few months becuase they only hire people who don't have a lack of melanin you kind of lose hope in living. Trying on Sins of a Solar Empire. Glad I didn't buy this one. It's a cool game but I have one major problem with it. Taking over the enemies planet is ridiculously long. I didn't have the particular type of ship that can actually attack a planet except for my 2 capital ships so I left them there attacking, I go downstairs and come back 10 minutes later and it still has a little longer to go. Even if I did have the type of ship I'd need like 10 of them to really make an impact. I'm going to try on another game tomorrow this time 2v2 on medium difficulty and see what happens. Edit: But with that stuff said there is a ton of research development you can do and I like how capital ships level up. I've never played civilizations but I'm guessing this is a good mix of civ type games and rts games which I have had plenty of experience with and would say they did a pretty good job. It just seems like a lot of idle time passes by but thats a lot of me being a complete noob, it was my first game today in such a new type of genre so I was pretty out of my element. But there is something nice about having a monster sized fleet and just murdering an entire fleet of damn pirates, which is another thing. Pirates are freakin a holes.

7 pounds in a week is most likely due to inaccurate weighing. Water weight, food, and what not at your different weight takings. It's still great that you are making progress. I myself am going to start running and when it gets like 120 out swimming and tanning will begin as well. I stopped working out like 3 weeks ago though which kind of sucks but I've started doing push ups and sit ups and no weight squats since and I have to say even though I used to work out often I have 0 endurance and I feel generally weak considering I only did 3 sets of 25 push ups, squats, and sit ups in like 15 minutes. God I wish I could do wrestling again but last time I did something like that, jiu jitsu, my head felt like it was going to explode and of course a doctor had no idea what was wrong and tests came back negativo for anything. I should just end it all since I have nothing to live for except kotor 3 which probably won't happen for a while or at all.

My outlook on people is "Once a d*** always a d***." And theres no one who has never not been one at one point in time which is why I hate most everyone. People don't change, extending everyones lifetime just gives them more time to perfect their, pardon my French, douchebaggery. I'd stand out the text more. But keep it simple much like Dragon Lord Jones. The blue on top of blue doesn't work. If your really adamant on that color try using outer glow or stroke. Also up the opacity on the coat of arms, maybe throw a dupe layer of the coat of arms with a gaussain blur of 4 and an overlay, hard light, soft light, w/e looks best. And I'd scale the pic down, bring the text and coat of arms in and just have a smaller sig. Other tahn that all I can say is throw another dupe on top of that king and mess with some stuff or just go with an adjustment layer of your choose.

American Gangster. This is kind of a tough one. It was an above average movie but it had a lot of potential in my opinion and it only ended up being sup par. The movie was long as hell and was a little boring a few times, pacing was well done but I mean it was like 3 hours, so not much you can do about that. I would have liked if they added a bit more "action/suspense" but the investigation portion of the movie was fine I suppose just could have been a bit more lively. The story itself was interesting and fresh considering there hasn't been a gangster movie in quite a while, the acting was solid, and there honestly was no major flaws besides the length of the movie. As a whole the movie doesn't come close to the caliber of movie like Casino, but thats kind of unfair since Casino is like an amazing movie. Way better than any of that other trash the majority of stupid meat headed meat faces that walk the streets saying Scarface, Godfather, etc is the best. But enough about that, I give you the much anticipated score. 8.1/10 - Towards the end things got pretty cool and the music in the film was nice. If they would have shaved off like 30 minutes, amped up the action and STYLE of the film this could have been a real gem. Just pulls out a -B.

Nightshade: Honestly your sigs are pretty good. They are simple and have character. When you go too ambitious like someone else in this thread, its going to look like shi-.- But I suppose I don't really have a place to say anything since I guess I'd be like that old guy who used to be like mildly semi pro but is now just a senile old jerk who hangs around elementary schools but then if you asked me to make a sig I'm quite sure it would be much better than what i've seen around town if you catch my meaning.

I think the blu ray argument is pretty lame. Blu ray isn't accessible by the vast majority of people and even those who own a ps3 I kind of doubt all of them have the budget to buy blu ray dvds and watch them on their giant 42 inch 1080i high def tv in their mansion sipping on pinacoladas and all that nonesense. Although I have little knowledge of it isn't it a broken technology? Touting to fit 50 gigs on a single dual layered disk yeah I'll believe that when my pr0n collection is on it and I'm selling them to make millions.
