  1. There's one great truth in life and I recall it has something to do with cats.
  2. I was lying and trying to be awesome but I guess I wasn't. "Besides, who are you (or anyone in the same manner) to judge whether someone is worthy or not to be living?" I think this is a good ending point for both of us. Who am I to say a man should die and who are you to say he should live?
  3. For someone who touts humanity you sure lack any concept of it. Dying is a natural and humane process and I'm going to go so far as to say killing is as well. We do it to animals and have done so for millennia, mainly for protection and out of necessity to eat. We execute criminals to protect society and it's a necessary as well as just sentence in many cases. Explain to me exactly how letting a man rot in a concrete box for the rest of his days is humane? Or for that matter your beating the hell out of prisoners or stranding them on an island. You're the hypocrite. I like how you talk about the value of human life and that we're all equal. You're completely blind to reality. There are people in this world who are worth more than others, whether it's physically or mentally or w/e. And what exactly would you know about the value of human life anyways? Unless you've experienced birth as well as killed men I'd say you have no idea. And yes, I've done both so my previous statement stands. People aren't equal. Only an idealist, blockhead, or someone trying to be pc would say that. Take your pick.
  4. Started a small garden today. 3 tomatoes and 1 yellow bell pepper plant. I don't know a thing about gardening but you have to start somewhere I suppose? If all goes well I might add some carrots and lettuce and perhaps even onions and maybe even green onion since it's one of my favorite ingredients to use. Just don't really know if those things can handle the climate out here. Either way, the plants I started today should mature right around the end of summer so it will be a nice window of decent weather. We're also considering a pomegranate tree. Should be neat. I'm also downloading porn.
  5. The Curious Case of Benjamen Button I really quite enjoyed it. Great story, great musical score and aesthetically pleasing.
  6. *resists* How dare you sir. I was just about to take that one.
  7. Golden sun announcement partially relieved the 5 months of suppressed rage I had for my horrible impulse buy of a DS. Wish I would have gotten golden sun 2 tho so I'm not entirely familiar with the characters and story. Though I doubt I would regardless since its been like 6 years.
  8. My vote goes for: Slugcat's House of Walsausages as well as Other Delectable Treats and Culinary Treasures
  9. If it's seriously starting to impact your life and affecting your livelihood it's time to seek out medical counsel. Nothing we say can help you. There's no tricks of the interwebs that can do any good here.
  10. As much as I'd like to comment on how much I despise vegetarians if you can use eggs and milk, quiche is a good idea. Extremely easy and quite versatile. Could also add a nice garden salad. Throw in a bunch of tomatoes, chic peas, cucumber, and what not in some mixed greens and your good just in case something goes wrong.
  11. I made Fish and Chips tonight. It turned out pretty good to be honest. I did screw up magnificently on the first batter but luckily I kept about a third of the ale and was able to make a new one which wasn't saltier than a seaman's seam- err...beard? Now just kind of bored. I've read through over a cumulative decade of Japanese manga and one Korean Manhwa since school got out (yeah....like over 1000 or so chapters) Just waiting for E3 and a bunch of various tv shows to start since all my favorites are gone. :'( Going to start a new workout routine on Monday as well. Shooting for a 30% increase across the board on bench, squat and deadlift over summer. Should be pretty easy.
  12. Yeah you committed already and so did your boss. Even though it's less work for him to pick you up, it shows a weakness and you don't want to do that. You've made the obligation and unfortunately you must stick with it. But there's always an upside right? Might get to eat some delicious food stuffs (unless its at work..) but more importantly it sounds more like a personal experience rather than a professional call. If your boss didn't like you he most likely wouldn't have bothered since your not needed. Play your cards right and you two could be "friends" which could mean raise, promotion or just a little slack every now and then.

    The Bible

This has been done using various types of meme's and what not a multitude of times throughout the past. Edit: Though the topic title is grade A. Good job.
  14. In Bruges A little quirky. I liked it. 8.8/10
  15. I second that. :'( I was so lonely.
  16. Rise of the Foot Soldier To be honest I didn't understand what the hell was going on for about 3/4's of the film. It's amazing how we both speak the same language but I cannot decipher Walsingham's people's dialect with any confidence whatsoever. That wasn't even my main gripe though, the story was convoluted, had low production value, and the pacing and structure was wacky as hell. The hollow and excessive violence didn't help either. There was a fair amount of bewbies present, however, it just wasn't enough to save this one. 6/10
  17. i want a lemur
  18. I stayed up till like 4:00 am watching The Rainmaker. Then I woke up like 3 times and finally just said screw it at 10:30. I'm kind of tired but today is sushi day and nothing can ruin that. I won't allow it.
  19. 8 and a half hours from now I will be free from the chains of employment slavery. No longer will I have to shred for hours or awkwardly communicate with my bosses and coworkers. It's going to be awesome.
  20. Cat episode is best. Nyaa~ Been playing a ton of warcraft 3.
  21. Am I the only one that didn't enjoy the season finale? I don't enjoy the show anymore but I'll continue watching becuase I'm not a quitter.
  22. Good job Calax. I got 2 A's and 2 B's. Tomorrow is my third to last day of work and I can't wait for this crap to be over. I'm angry more than usual because they've been scheduling the other student worker girl the same days as me which gives me virtually nothing to do except shred paper all day. The last two days I've worked I've done a good 4 hours of shredding which is about 3/4's of my day. I don't quite understand their reasoning either because they could just lay me off and bring her in an extra day which would save them some cash and get basically the same amount of work done. I work monday and friday next week and I'd like to actually take one day off becuase it's agonizing how crappy it is but I'm not sure what would be a good excuse so someone think of something. But luckily with school out I've had a ton of time to myself, which is something I haven't had in a few months. I watched all 3 seasons of 30 rock and read 250 chapters of a japanese comic. Me and my friend have also started playing wc3 after years of retirement and we've somehow managed to get something like a 14-3 record. He's also got a really good chance of getting into the starcraft 2 beta so it's going to be awesome once that happens and we will be semi-ready to kick ass. So stoked.
  23. Yeah I listen exclusively to old lovelines at work however I can only do it for an hour or two before I start to get a headache. The kid that resides in the cubicle next to mine also listens to adam carolla becuase he puts his ipod on full blast so I can hear that nasaly drone from a mile away however I haven't yet decided to approach him about it and act like we have shared interests but my last day of work is 2 weeks from now and I'm never going to that school ever again so it's a moot point. But I don't think listening to your ipod is rude. I mean if you were working in a group and your coworkers were right next to you and you had to take your earbuds out every 5 minutes to hear what they say then sure but if you have a job like mine where you just sit in front of the computer all day and answering the phone going solo then it's no problem in my opinion.
  24. So I think I observed an eventual suicide on my way home from the gym. I was just driving along, minding my own business when all the sudden I see something incredible. There is just a young (asian I believe) man with long black hair standing off to the side of the road in the middle of the train tracks staring off into the pitch black darkness. It was really eerie. Essentially these train tracks kind of follow the wash and split neighborhoods and what not but there's always about 50 or 60 yards on either side of the track that is just undeveloped desert so it was just a long corridor of pitch darkness contrasted against the lights of suburbia so it looked pretty cool but yeah I was thinking of pulling a uturn and giving this guy a "hey buddy" or "hey a hole, the train ain't due till 10 tommorow." but I'm not that kind of person and what if he wasn't contemplating suicide then I'd be a complete tosser deluxe. Either way as far as I know that train doesn't make too many rounds so he's going to be waiting a while. Then I got home and found out the protein my mom bought me is strawberry flavored. :'( I'm damning Kevin Spacey for this one.
