Well, Serenity was better than the Star Wars prequels, The Matrix movies, and a host of big name science fiction films that has came out in the last 5 to 10 years. maybe Serentiy wasn't all that good overall, but compared to its competitors its the best so far. So Gromnir, what would you rate a recently released science fiction film that is better than Serenity?

Too bad they couldn't have done this for ToEE or MOO3. In any case kudos for Atari for finally waking up.

Well, the first set of games would have vehicle combat. Imagine your character ona motorcycle speeding down in a urban sprawl being chased by a fire truck filled with machine gun toting boosters with the main fire hose replaced with a flame thrower. The second trilogy would probably be a traditional fantasy CrPG with horses.

Grrrr... Argh... What am I suppose to do til October now?!?!?! Oh well, a stable game is better than an unstable game.

If I was video gaming industry overlord... The first game I would create a skill based classless hardcore story driven cyberpunk CRPG trilogy whose main story path would garner 60 hours of gameplay each. Combat would have a sload of options and can be toggled for Turn base or real time, but balanced for turn based.

The trick here would be pushing the story forward while exploring Book's past without tht e use of prequels or flashbacks.

The barkeep was one alien. If a game has an alien barkeep its Star Wars like?!?!? Hell, the barkeep in Star Wars, at least in A New Hope, was human.

Mass Effect looks like it has more in common with Fifth Element than Star Wars.

Agreed. However they could renew the series and have the "second" season lead up to the events of the movie.
