  1. If she allows him say, but ultimately it is up to her alone. The man is not the one who is carrying the child. Only thing the man did was share some chromosomes and nothing else. Like I said before if it is a good relationship it will more than likely be a mutual decision but more than often that is not the case. In cases in which abortion is a viable option its usually after a "ram bam, thank you ma'am" one night affair.
  2. Like I said before this town has more churches than anything else and more or forming each year. On campus alone there would be buggers shoving the little NT bibles or some religious fellow yelling about how God is always right and everyone is going to Hell at the Hub. There are always church missionary types, traveling in twos, going everywhere in order to increase their membership. A population that is barely 50,000 without students can only support so many churches so the competition fierce.
  3. Well, he was. Beyond that he was an alright sort.
  4. Cool. If there is a DVD version of a game I often buy it to support the format.
  5. Exactomundo, Steve. The ideal would be that the woman is indeed in a loving supporting relationship and can come to a decision that would be best for her, her boyfriend/fiancee/husband, and her family. The best case scenerio would then be no abortion taking place and the child is raised in a loving home. The problem is that we don't live in a world of best case scenerios. In most cases it is the worst case scenerio that happens.
  6. As long it comes to the PC I'm happy.
  7. When I was in the Navy the last XO chained smoked a carton of cigarettes a day. He was a rail thin nervous sort of person.
  8. Nope, it's just how real life is.
  9. Well, that is how I define a Role Playing game. It is a game where you create a character involving a rules set that uniformly applied throughout the game which uses the character's abilities and skills and not the player's. Action RPGs, and there are a good bunch of them, is like above but uses the player's skill when it comes to combat and other action sequences in gameplay.
  10. .. it's still partly his genes! I would like to think that he at least get's the opportunity to air his opinion about what must be done.. the world is not full of Mary's you know.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So? He doesn't have to do any of the work. He doesn't have to carry the child for nine months then go through child birth. Hell, the man can leave his deposit and skip town without a worry. The man has no say.
  11. In the society that he doesn't want to be a part of! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And your point? Why would I want to be around those who yell at me, force their religion in my face, and expect me to follow their two faced morality? I don't force anyone to do any thing. Checkpoint, you have the option to hit ignore so you won't have to read my bothersome posts. You can't do that when a person is less than a foot away yelling that you are going to hell.
  12. It's up to the couple. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wrong. Unless all of a sudden a man can get pregnant. After all a man can just sit back and watch. It's the woman who has to do all the work.
  13. Man, I haven't used my television for almost a year now.
  14. Versitily and streamlining of rules make it easier for new players to get into the game and allow greater flexibility for the game master to use cross reference material. A Spider said it was a nightmare trying to get Werewolf stuff to mesh with Mage stuff and to work with Vampire stuff smoothly. Now it can be.
  15. Exactly. It is their decision and their decision alone. Its not up to me, or Alan, or Bush, or Clinton, or Cheney, of Limbaugh, or Jordon. Its up tot he individual woman which path she wants to take and all the options should be readily available to her.
  16. That is unfortunate. KotOR 2 had a lot of potential in it but it fell short because of poor support and its unfinished form. Of course its easier to lay blame than to simply accept that is how the dice are rolled somettimes.
  17. I have no need to be a part of society except for work. I like my hermit status.
  18. It's more right for me and the only person I have to live with is myself. People feel as you describe, Alan, have some misplaced morals. The child is unborn. It doesn't have a life. Its not even self aware.
  19. I do question some of Bioware's game designs but I cannot deny the stellar support for thier games. I hope Obsidian follows Bioware's footsteps in this.
  20. Doom watchable?!?!?
  21. That is the problem there: Belief. Beliefs and faith should have no place in scientific studies, only the gathered empirical data should matter. Belief and faith often override and bias the data that is collected therefore making it useless.
  22. Yes, and I was constantly hounded by other players and the parents of the other players. They all said that I was the reason why they couldn't win a game so I quit. They still lost every single game they played and I laughed at them.
  23. I use to have red hair when I was a kid.
  24. When I was younger I joined a little league team. Lets just say I learned to hate competitive sports and not bothered with it since.
