  1. Epiphany, there isn't much to a racing racing game in the first place. Played one and you have pretty much played them all. You are on a track and go around in circles. Wow. What fun.
  2. They should have Bobby Hill and Beavis get in a one on one cage match to the death.
  3. Yes, and it would have been just fine for me. Also ther ewere a lot of FMV scenes in KotOR 2 that would have been better off done in the game engine. We are at a point in game development that FMVs are simply not needed because the graphics and engine work are advanced enough in technology to do the work. Like I said, I play games. I watch movies.
  4. I don't see a significant difference. I am no graphics guru or anything but they look basically the same to me.
  5. FMV is still useless. If i want to see a movie I put a movie in. When i want to play a game I want to play the game and not watch a movie.
  6. The only X-Box 360 launch game I was looking forward to was Oblivion. The others are crap.
  7. As for -10 being dead I changed it in my game to mirror that of Arcana Evolved. You reach dead equal to your Constitution Score in the negative and you don't go unconsciousness and bleeding til you hit your Constitution Modifier in the negative or zero (which ever is less). Such as if you have a 16 Con you are dead at -16 and unconscious and dying at -3. If you are 0 to -2 you are considered disabled and any strenuous action makes you lose a hit point.
  8. PS2 didn't need blockbuster titles at its launch. X Box 360 does.
  9. I doubt Libby will get any jail time, even if he is found guilty.
  10. He's a Texan. What do you expect?
  11. Maybe where you are from it is, but where I live it is not.
  12. Well, I thought Gabs was a woman. She (he?) spelt the name in the feminine tense.
  13. Depends if you like MMORPGs. When I played it I just played it for Jump to Lightspeed portion.
  14. I haven't seriously played Neverwinter Nights since last year and its been uninstalled from my computer since March. Also, refering someone as a fanboy is never a compliment.
  15. Um... No, I am not. Transcedence, the only advice I can give is: Plan: Plan your encounters and do the research necessary for the adventure. KISS: "Keep It Simple Stupid" philosophy works wonders. Only devise on what you are going to use. Improvise: Be ready to imrpovise on the fly because players can be a unpredictable lot. Challenge: Make sure your player characters are properly challenged. Nothing ruins a game than an easy win or unfair opposition. Kid's Gloves Off: Don't be afraid to kill PCs if they do something stupid or a NPC happens to get lucky. There are risks in adventuring and also consequences.
  16. Whatever suggestions Bioware gives to Obsidian I hope Obsidian does the opposite. The only real thing that Bioware did right on NWN was its tech support.
  17. How about an unboring game from Blizzard instead. Starcrap, Warcrap, and Diablow have all put me in a coma like state out of the sheer boring gameplay.
  18. Hardly, since Gabs is a woman. If she had actually played the setting then she might have the right to say that but she hasn't therefore she doesn't.
  19. An Obsidian game needs to be on the Obsidian forums. A Bioware game stays on the Bioware forums. And so forth and so on.
  20. No game that is abandoned within 3 months of its release is worth it.
  21. Only thing that Blizzard has done right in their games are the FMVs. Warcrap, Starcrap, and Diablow have all sucked.
  22. I just think we should leave Jefferson and Interplay in the past. Besides it is too early to even see if NWN 2 will have expansions, let alone properly supported.
  23. Thanks for sharing the obvious. So, when will Obsidian Entertainment use their own forums for their own games that are currently being developed and supported? Well, Feargus?
  24. My suggestion is this: If you have did a fresh install withthe latest patches and drivers and it still doesn't work, take the game back and get your money. Obsidian Entertainment and LucasArts have abandoned this game and no longer supporting it. No more bugfixes for this game. If everything is current, then there is no way you are going to get this game working. Sorry, but it is the ugly truth.
