  1. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!
  2. Threshold: Alien probe visits merchant marine ship and sends a signal that mutates the crew. Some crew members die, others don't. Those who didn't die seek to replicate the signal to mutate more humans into them. A government agency is put together and to find and neutralize those who have become exposed to the signal and find out why the alien probe showed up and where it is now. Brent Spiner plays as one of the scientists. NCIS is a very good show.
  3. Of course not. We are all products of our environments and time in which we are born in. If I was a German Jew in the 1940's I would most definitely have a different view as well as not have an Internet forum addiction. It is irrelevant. I am an Iowan living in the 21st century, that is my reality and the reality I deal with.
  4. It might be an addiction, but it isn't a necessity. If I am strong, I will survive without it. REALLY!
  5. *gets his baseball bat of disruption +4 ready*
  6. Pandaware? Sounds like a new clothesline for toddlers.
  7. I have never said that the US should be isolated in the global market. I am just saying that the US needs to get its own affairs in order before mucking with other countries. Only when the US has total healthcare coverage for all citizens, an unemployment rating of .001%, and completely and totally out of debt should the US poke its nose in the workings of another country if they haven't done anything to the US. Once we have our own store in order, then we can take care of others. Economically let us join our nieghbors, but if our neighbors wnat to kill each other that is their business and not ours.
  8. Its still has the EA taint. This is a risky affair which I don't think will succeed as well as people will hope, if at all.
  9. Did you not read the first post in this thread? I am talking about John Riccitiello, the former CEO of Electronic Arts.
  10. In Iowa we have all the food, fuel, water, and such to survive. Add in low cost of living and a education system rated one of the highest in the nation, Iowa is a nice place to live. I am a firm beleiver in self sufficience. If you can't take care of yourself by yourself then well, nature will take you out.
  11. Who is the head guy? Oh, a former EA git.
  12. If the people in the US are strong they will survive. If not, then they won't. Plain and simple. Besides we have strong alternatives to oil here where I live. Its called Ethonal and more and more cars are being fitted to use it. In five years Ethonal only vehicles will be very common. As I said, all the necessities are fulfilled here.
  13. TARNA! (w00t) *Pounces Tarna and shoves a turkey basted in garlic butter down the moderator's throat!*
  14. This is also their first only console title as well as their own IP. I think that has to be factored in as well.
  15. Both PS3 and X Box 360 has aspects that will attract and detract developers. So what?
  16. I have always wanted the US to mind its own store before interfering with others.
  17. Why? All the necessities I have can be fulfilled locally. Water, power, food, and the such. There is nothing in Bosnia, Somalia, Iraq, or any other country that holds what I need to survive.
  18. Yes we are one world with over 6 billion humans vying for space and resources. If a country dies as with its people the resources, whatever they were, are now available to those who survived. Checks and balances, taks. Every species on this planet has a balancer, to make sure overpopulation occurs or if it does makes sure the weak die to let the strong live. The human race's balancer is ourselves. So far we haven't done a good job of it.
  19. I would have handled 9/11 a little differently. I would have wiped out the Taliban and Al Qaeda to a person, staying focused till the job was done and over where Osama Bin Ladin would be in a shallow grave, then left Afganistan to its own devices.
  20. Moral high ground? You're joking right? WHo the frak cares about moral high ground? I most certainly do not. I am only concerned with what goes on here in the US and making sure US citizens are taken care of. The rest of the world can go in the sh**ter because they are not my problem nor should they be any one's problem but their own. A country that cannot support and create stability within its own border by itself does not need to exist because it is weak.
  21. Well said, Laozi.
  22. How is Bosnia and Cambodia the problem of the U.S.? Are they threatening our borders? Are these countries killing US citizens on US soil? If not, not our problem. We aren't the nursemaids of the world. If countries and people can't take care of themselves then they need to go the way of the dodo. If Saddam wanted to kill his own people and they let him, more power to him. I don't care. I also don't think he had the funds and the resources to gain nuclear weapons in the first place. If that was such a major concern we would have invaded North Korea before Iraq.
  23. Actually only half the KotOR sales should have been expected since KotOR is on two platforms and Jade Empire was only on one. I am sure JE would have reached the 1 millionth mark by now if it was on both PC and X Box.
