I have tried to make a mod in NWN 1 quite a while back but I suck at coding script. I built up a lot of dialog though for it. I could just write a short story based on the mod I was working on.

I am sure it is more to it than that. Or at least I hope there is more to it than that. I w2ould the type of QA person that would go into an area, play it over and over again with different styles and try to find as many things I can "break" then document each "break" and how it was broken by me, and whatever diagnostic code that spews forth if any. Once I get done with that go to the next area and rinse, dry, and repeat, unless there was a more important task that needed to be done. At least that is how I imagine a QA job to be like.

The rules need tobe easy for n00bs to grasp but the action needs to be challenging as challenging a game can get, within the confines of the rules system in use but there hasn't been a challegning d20 System game yet so I doubt NWN 2 will be.

I have worked at both Wendy's and McDonald's so I know what goes on in the kitchen area. I would never eat at a McDonald's. If you knew what they do in there...

Just because I kicked Dan Quayle in the groin once the government has it in for me. Its not that I damaged anything important. I did a service for the genepool. REALLY!

I think that they were after her is because they know her capabilities. Think on this, if she decided to go to war on a city and had access to Jayne's weapons how high of a body count do you think she would have? She is just too dangerous for not being under the control of the government.

Not to knock off Steam and other Direct Download ideas but when I spend money I like to have something tangible like discs, a manual, and the such. Call me old fashion but it is one of the things I look for in a game. Beyond that its good to hear that people are doing this and I wish you guys all the luck and success. As for promoting independent game development I think that we need to go back to the basics in game design. It seems like we have a loto f hybrids out there but when was the last time we had a hardcore CRPG that has gotten the same level of press and following as Neverwinter Nights or Oblivion? Or a hardcore space combat sim like Freespace and Wing Commander that draws you in not only in story but the shear amount of space fighting goodness. We need games that get back to the roots of gaming while at the same time not sacrificing the quality of the game so that it uses modern technology and graphical representation. I hope that makes some odd sort of sense.

Its not over. The operative only killed three of them and the facility is still in operation. SHe might not be as nutty but that doesn't mean her teachers are going to let her go that easily.

Doing QA on games would be my dream job. I love tearing things apart and tell devs what doesn't work.

Ask for the raise, state the reasons why you believe you deserve a raise, and if you don't get it get a job somewhere else and when your boss asks why you are leaving tell him it is because he didn't give you a raise.
