  1. I take liberties in all songs I sing and no I do not listen to it. For inspirational music I am listening to Cruxshadows, Incubus Succubus, Metallica (old school), Ministry, Demons and Wizards, Marilyn Manson, and Rammstien. I am going for a "If LotR was written by William Gibson" feel. :D
  2. No I don't. I don't know jack about this game. THere is nothing new on the newsites at all about Dragon Age.
  3. As for staff I would see to bring in some new blood to the industry. I live next to a fairly large university who has a large gamer community, hell even a computer sci club that dedicates itself to making computer games. I would draw the staff from these people.
  4. The law is the law and it never seemed to hurt my friend who immigrated from Great Britain legally. If it happens then it happens, and those who are strong will survive and the US economy will adapt. I also beleive that the welfare system needs to be revamped. There are people who are milking the system and that needs to stop. Those on welfare can take the place of illegal immigrant workforce or they can just starve and die off. Either way they are no longer a burden on the welfare state. That is a lame assed argument. What happened 400 years ago is irrelevant. I live in the now and seek to solve the issues we have now and not what should have been done or not done 4 centuries ago.
  5. The type of game would be a hardcore cyberpunk near future thriller with a detailed turn based combat system, multiple starting points depending on what type of character the player created, all set within a full Los Angeles sized city where the player could go anywhere. I would have it use a radial menu system, similarly done in ToEE and have it cross platform for the PS3 and the PC.
  6. First off, no one said LotR was deep just that ME would be lamer. Secondly awards are meaningless. They are just someone eleses opinion with a blue ribbon attached to it. Also for a game not forgotten there is very little inforamtion about it. Where are the screenshots, system requirements and recommended, who is its publisher, what classes are available, what is its rules ssytem like, and other pertinent information? Fact is there is more information on Starcraft Ghost, another vaporware game, than there is on Dragon Age. Also the resources Bioware has placed in NWN currently is far far far far less than the resources they have placed in their current console titles. In the last 5 years they have spent more resources on the console market than the PC market.
  7. Big companies have the resources to be original while smaller companies do not.
  8. Wouldn't surprise me any.
  9. So Bioware has 1 PC vaporware game, 1 lame assed MMORPG, and 1 ancient game for the PC while they three X Box 360 games which will be released in succession. Hmmm... Yep, it looks to me Bioware is focusing their primary efforts on the console.
  10. That is why we need tougher measures that makes coming to the US illegally not worth the risk. Imprisonment and deportation seems to me a little to lenient and not a strong enough deterent. And I don't particularly care. If they want to come into this country to work and live they can do so using legal means to do so. We have laws in this country and if they can't respect the laws that we have then they don't need to be in our country. As I said, I don't care. They are here illegally and they need to be imprisoned and deported for breaking our laws. It doesn't matter if they have been here for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year, 10 years, or even 100 years. If they are illegal then they should not be in this country, plain and simple. We have ways for people to immigrate into the US, we have laws to make sure the process is done farily, and most of all it works.
  11. You need SPF 10000 sun block. :D
  12. YOU LOOK LIKE CARRIE FISHER?!?!?!
  13. The point is that console games tend to be cheaper to make as well as cheaper to maintain and support. A console is standardized there for the code is standardized. Drop the premade code and bam, it works reliably 99% of the time. That also means a faster development time so they can get the title released faster so it can start making them money quicker. That is why Bioware is trying to get people to go to console. There is just too much variance from one PC to the next. PC games are costly to develop and support compared to their console counterparts. Console games are fire and forget while PC games will often need patches to get them working right on everyone's system
  14. I most certainly do not want to see the PC go away as a viable game machine. I want to be able to have 1 machine that I can use to use my utility programs, DVD player, stereo system, game system, television set, and so forth and so on. I do not want to clutter my apartment for one machine to game on, 1 machine to watch DVDs on, 1 machine to use as a television set, 1 machine to surf the net and run Word or Adobe, 1 machine to have a stereo, and so forth. I only want 1 machine can do all of that and that is a PC. When a console can run Word then I might completely switch over.
  15. Well, with worthless MMORPGs on the rise its not helping the PC market any.
  16. PC gamer. Hey, everyone wants good quality games on their chosen platform. There is nothing wrong with that. As for Dragon Age it looks like vaporware to me, a PR marketing scheme to show the PC audience that they are working on a PC game while at the same time try to entice them to buy a X Box 360. I will probably get a X Box 360 but only when I can get the premium edition under $100.
  17. Not if they keep a proper balance between PC and console. If they can get a development cycle that sets it up that they have 1 cross platform, 1 PC only, 1 console only loop that would be very much acceptable.
  18. I plan on that they left clues and artifacts that is used for the process. The PCs might come across one during the campaign and if they choose to use it... lets just say it could have interesting consequences.
  19. Never played the BGDA sequel because the first one stunk terribly. As for Bioware I only go on the evidence shown. Evidence show is that they are pushing the console market more than PC. Sure they are still supporting NWN but where is the majority of Bioware's resources going? Console. What platform are there games coming out on? Console. As for Bioware doing a MMORPG, MMORPGs are worthless POS. There has yet been a MMORPG that is worth playing and I doubt there ever will be one.
  20. *Hades begins to sing* Dark side Jesus sing this song doo dah, doo dah! Dark side Jesus doing a pod race five miles long... Oh the doo daa day! Dark Side Jesus sing this song doo dah, doo dah! Dark side Jesus force crushing all the day long... Oh the doo daa day!
  21. So, they are going to actively steal ideas and be open about it.
  22. Hmmm... You have a point, H-Bomb.
  23. I found Boob Raider an annoying action title that was only fun when the character jumps off a cliff and dies screaming in a pool of lava.
  24. Rope arrows are only cool if you are the DC hero Green Arrow or the Marvel hero Hawkeye. Hawkeye comes from Iowa, did you know?
