  1. What Street Fighter 2 knockoff is that, Baley?
  2. Lets not compare it to Oblivion's graphics. The NWN series seems to be worse than the Elderscrolls series in terms of graphics. Yes, Morrowind was better than NWN regardless what Volourn says. It would be like comparing Half Life 2's or FEAR graphics to Doom 3. Let us compare NWN 2 graphics to NWN 1, which NWN 2 looks completely kickarse.
  3. Will you stop breaking news, Llyr. We're running out of duct tape!
  4. Have fun. Personally, I would rather go London.
  5. In the case of Star Wars, F.A.N.T.A.S.Y. :D
  6. I cast magic missile at the darkness!
  7. FANTASY! (w00t)
  8. Star Wars is fantasy.
  9. Ouch. Bethesda's peeps often to look kind of stiff. To much viagra in their system perhaps.
  10. hey could try to solve the main quest but it would be hard to do when the PC holds the key artifact to trigger the events necessary.
  11. I prefered the graphics in IWD 2 over NWN 1 but maybe that's just me. Anyhoot, it s good to see the site back up. About freaking time.
  12. I like the AI. I hope they improve it in execution, if not intelligence. Keep in mind that the player is just one character in the setting. Other characters should interact and well "complete quests" if they are so inclined.
  13. Its not complex. Its a rather straight forward game in how its mechanics work and how the story progresses. Does that reviewer know what a complex game is?
  14. Bunny Greenhouse?!?!? What kind of name is that???
  15. Does it matter? You only face the wrath of the moderators if you are being naughty.
  16. Wrong. If you take away the starships and technology from Star Wars and place it in a medieval setting the story and themes do not fall apart and pretty much still intact. My definition of Science Fiction is fiction that centers itself around technology and technological advances which propel the story forward and allows story cohesion. Star Trek's theme is that of exploration and meeting new civilizations which can work in a setting without starships and lasers. So you are right, Star Trek is not sci fi. Following this idea neither would Firefly/Serenity. However a movie like Blade Runner is because without the advances in robotics and cloning major story elements, such as Decker questioning his own humanity, would simply would not exist if you remove the technology. The same can be said Strange Days, which a technological device is central to the theme and conflict of the story.
  17. It was a great gamer comic in Dragon magazine a few years back. It was hilarious.
  18. Judge Hades begins to sing to a tune of a Olivia Newton John song! Lets get political. Political. Lets get political. Let me hear the lobbyists talk. Lobbyists talk! Lets go get political!
  19. Its all propaganda. PROPAGANDA I TELL YOU!!!!!!!!!!
  20. I would like to see Earth.
  21. So, what would you call Snarfquest then? It had time traveling evil wizards on Harleys, a robot paladin type that got a Knight Order to emulate him, a dragon's head ventilated by a .45 magnum, and starships. Also elves, female humans in chain mail bikinis, medieval kings, and spoiled princesses. Ah, I loved Snarfquest. Anyway its not the content that makes a story/movie science fiction or fantasy, it is the thematic tone in which it is portrayed that determines genre. Star Wars is Fantasy.
