It is a really good alternative, I choose (like often) a Wild Orlan for Resolve resistance and Perception bonus, but the ring is great for the reasons you mention. I use the Rekvu's glove to prevent another -25% health from Constitution debuff, then the Dexterity resistance from Wood elfe or the Boreal Dwarf miss-to-graze can be interresting. And I agree for CP Psion, my transcendant dont have a lot of time to generate focus when he start his labor, a passive focus generation is very efficient.

My priest extend The pain persit actually, to stay in safety place. Ennemies prefer generally go deal with the weaker character, in my party it is not him ( when Borrowed instinct replace the -20 malus, he have a decent defenses). Maybe for Soulblade , but not for beguiler : with 11 int (Spirit Presence), AoE look like single target circle for most of they spells, meaning it is sub-obtimal. But Soulblade ' antipathetic field for the coast of 5focus is good : I target with this spell my FF target (while ranged), to protect myself from others menaces when I enhance Borrowed Instinct.

Yes, and the 7.6s duration laps concern only ennemies with 10 resolves, and the purpose is to disable for long time the most hostile one. If he get more than 20 or 25, so more than 10 after debuff, the duration laps where you use your Spirit Presence is shorter. It is even better, but you dont have the "loisir" to attack with weapons.

Classes : Psion / Forbidden Fists Stats : Mig. medium Con. medium Dex. High Per. Highest possible Int. Lowest possible (3base, -2 Kith Meat = 1) Res. High Skills : Arcana Highest possible Importants abilties and spells : Antipathetic Field - swift strikes Mental Binding - Dance of death Fractured Volition ( on BPM mod) Ectopsychic Echo - Stunning Blow Body attenuement - Enduring Dance Duality of Mortal Presence Borrowed Instinct - the long pain Iron Wheel - Turning Wheel The pain Persist This build is made in accordance to the Hostiles effects durations rules : The duration of an effect can be increased by the cast of the same spell when the first duration is inferior to the new effect duration. The spell is like refreshed, still count for the same spell. The secondary effect of Enfeebled (+50% duration of hostiles effects) doesnt stack when you enfeebled an already enfeebled ennemy. But a new one Enfeebled effect add a new +50% duration of hostiles effects. % duration stack on previous % duration : for a starting duration increased by 50%, it is merely Duration*1.5. On the same effect, another +50% duration is now giving Duration*2.25 but from the initiale spell duration (not dependent of the time elapsed). Ect. This build is effective from level 1, and begin really potent at level 10, for revealing all his potential at level 20, only against non- resistant to constitution affliction. The "pattern" is really simple but require a lot of micro-management to take place. In first time, with your Body Presence, the transcendant hit with Forbidden Fist. Enfeebled is against Fortitude but once the Deflection roll is okay. Lowering these defenses before can be helpful. With the 1 intellect, the Enfeebled effect is going to hit for 7.6s (12base +20% PL -45%int) a 10 resolves ennemy. It is short, more longer when crit but it is possible to prevent any crit with Major Injury*. It is risky since that cause you -20 all defenses. Once that first step rolled, the transcendant switch to his Spirit Presence. Then, your int is 11 (Enduring Dance), It is enought to cast average and long durations spells, like Mental binding or Puppet Master, and Borrowed Instinct. This one no only buff acc by 20, but compensate the Major injury -20 all defenses, and this beneficial effect depend fully of his hostile effect duration on the ennemy. You keep the beneficial effect when the ennemy drained is dead for the duration you got . Mental Binding have a short base duration (6s), so it is important to cast it at the end of Enfeebled effect. Then, the transcendant switch to his Body prensence. When the Enfeebled effect duration is over, a new FF applie a new +50% for the hostiles effects. Anyway, because your low int, your previous spells are close to finish. This is why you come back to the Spirit Presence, for casting a new Mental Binding or Borrowed instinct, to refresh them. Again, Body Presence, and FF when the Enfeebled effect is over. At this point, you shouldn't have to refresh the CC spells. Otherwise, just repeat the step before. Later than, you can stay to your Body Presence, and continue to Enfeebled the target by cycle over and over. During Enfeebled time, your beam spells (antipathetic field and ectopsychic echo) and yours scrolls are your DPS sources : beams have a fixed duration of 10s, whatever your int, and scrolls are not affected by int. So casting Embrace the earth talon scroll insteed of Mental binding is safer and also efficient against dex resistants ennemies. Against distant ennemy, you are able to stay at safe range with the Long Pain. And for ending, with the BPM mod, you can Enfeebled with Fractured volition, but vs. will this time. the duration is also 12s, but the scaling from PL is 30% . About why not max Int insteed of taking this strange way to reach higher duration with CC spells, it is because this build make hostiles effects Permanent on single ennemy, and it is very useful and economist when you use high-level SC spells on this target. * : the best way to get a major injury is to be knocked down with frost damages 3 times. This build match very well with my futur post (a way I just found to perma-stun even might-immune ennemies but not only. I will write this one in a few time).

What do you think about Form of the Helpless Beast ? "Transforms a single kith enemy (aumaua, dwarf, elf, godlike, human, or orlan) into a pig. The pig has very poor defenses but can move quickly. " according to the description, however the ennemy transformed keep their defenses and his health. Even confused, I cant target one of my char, and when the spell is reflected by an hostile wizard, my caster is not transformed. I try that for watch what happen in Status Effects screen, but I cant, Im not affected. Is the spell bugged for everyone? If not, maybe that can be arranged in BPM ? (At the beggining, I would to transform Furrante and everyone else in pig to dumb them for easy CC )

Yes I think so, thoses spells are "creating " a new version of the spell when some conditions are met. Arkemyr's Wondrous Torment is a "slowish" similar spell that you can see what happen : when the first effect is over (condition), create a small version of the spell (least unstable coil trigger). A chanter version is going to give another empowered point with the smitar. I didnt considered the spell in the list, because the spell create only 2 other "spells", and after a while.

This is a list by classes with abilities and spells wich trigger potentially every inspirations when empowered with the least unstable coil. If anyone found something else, I can edit the post. In blue, until PL7 ; in yellow, restricted to SC ; in green, Spell is beneficial effect (extendable) —Paladin— Minor flame Shield (Darcozzi Paladin) (on self or other, reliatation cause inspiration to the Paladin) (ext.) —Cipher— Detonate (when target Near Death ennemy , depending of how many ennemies are hit by the explosion) Screaming Soul (for every screams ; with BPM (this spell dont work in vanilla game) —Wizard— Flame Shield (on reliatation) (ext.) Minoletta's Concussive Missiles (depending of PL and ho many ennemies are touched) Zandethus' Draconic Fury (when attackers are terrified by the reliatation enchantement ) (ext.) Concelhaut's Crushing Doom (on each hit) Minoletta's Missiles Salvo (dependent of PL, on hit) Meteor Swarm (on pulse) Arkemyr's Mercurial Madness (every 6s, when the unpredictable effect is refrehed on the target) Minoletta's Piercing Sigil (on reliatation) (ext.) Cloak of Death (on reliatation) (ext.) —Chanter— Her revenge ... (depending of PL and how many ennemies are touched) Her Tears ... (on explosions) Boil their Flesh (and upgrade) (when Near Death ennemy (ies) trigger an explosion) —Druid— Venombloom (on pulse) Cleansing Wind (on ennemies and allies touch, like other Healing-and-Damaging spells in the list) Garden of life (dependent of corpses) Avenging Storm (on hit) (ext) Pollen Patch (as long the spell stay, each step? work also as stationnary) (ext.) Giant Maelstrom (on pulse) —Priest— Flame Shield (Magran Priest) (Same as wizard) (ext.) Iconic Projection (Like other Healing-and-Damaging spells in the list) Rain of Holy Fire (on pulse) Spark the souls of the Righteous ( on self or allies, no dependent of ennemies, for the caster) (ext.) Symbols (on pulse) Hand of Weal and Woe ( per 1s, like other Healing-and-Damaging spells in the list) Magran's Might (on pulse) Call of Rymrgand (on pulse) Blessing of Wael (on blind reliatation ; careful to not use the BPM when empowering, see in comments) —Monk — Whispers of the Wind ( Each hit) * Miscellaneous : Bouncing weapon proc another roll for martials abilities AoE melee weapon proccing swift-flurry on Empowered ability (2-4 inspirations) Sun and Moon hit twice, then dualwield and empowering a Full attack, 4 Inspirations, even more with swift flurry. Tekehu get a version of Cleansing Wind and Avenging Storm in their Stormcaller subclass. The complementarity with some resting bonus is significant : the Captain cabin (Dunnage) give +1 empower point, like Adratic Glow (Luminous Bathhouse), and especially the Ocean's Song (Tikawara), "attacks interrupt with empowered attacks". Meaning on each pulse, each reliatation, on each screams... even when they not crit.

The chanter have 10 might and he's not energized. You can deduct from the Pen the Power Level : 20.5 - ( 10 (base) +3.5 (Ability level (8-1)/2 ) + 1 (The Arrow Sing) ) = 6 ; 6/0.25 = 24 ; 24+8 = 32 Because 7PL are restricted to the classe, that mean 25 PL "generic" scaling with scrolls, potions, poisons, bombs, but especially abilities and spells from items (seven bolts etc), armor (Retentless storm etc) and weapons (thunderous report, spider's flurry, wind calling etc). Weapons triggering effects are not concerned by PL. PS this spell at this level is dangerous : the twister is very slow and bounce on your party when the combat is over. My fives characters, originally full healthies, take a least 2 injuries (all of them) after the combat end.

Yes, I write exactely the order I followed, but that was because I was trying on a FF monk : when I want to test something that require to stay Bloodied or Near death, I multiclasse with a drug-crashed Nazpalca monk (no heal). And, of course, SoT priest is mandatory, per-rest limited abilities (empowering is also limited) mean you want a return to investissement in the just mesure.

I generaly rarely use the monk's fists because uniques weapons are most of time really effectives and fists suffers from the lack of enchantments. Also never use Death Godlikes because they require BDD management, and excepted for Wizards or Priests, they need a part-time baby-sitting character to keep them alive. But because fists are the only weapons wich stack with PL, I hired a SC monk to see the potential of Transcendant Suffering. And by the way, the Forbidden fist ability. For Monk, stacking rules prevent to reach higher than +10PL in my tests. In first, my monk is level 20 ... PL9 He pick Prestige ... PL10 Bonus from food (+1), potion (+2), Stone of power (+1) and Acute (+1) are overrided by the Ooze Trinket * (+4) ... PL14 He empower an ability while the Weyc Wand equipped (+3) ... PL 17 And use Mortification of the Soul to be Near Death (+3) ... PL 20 Whereas a legendary Weapon scale to +60% damages, +15acc and +4pen, my monk's fists have +155% damages, +42 acc and +11pen. The Forbidden fist ability profit on top of that from +95% damages (PL monk) and +19 acc. That was without some Forbidden curses. Abilities also profit from PL, and Swift Flurry gain +4acc from capacity level and 19 acc from PL. For Whisper of the Wind, +16acc from capacity level and +11 from PL. Both profit to a Pen bonus too. My 19 perception Monk with Tuotilo's Palm, with 6 wounds (the razor edge and enduring dance) and with Tenacious (+2pen) on a Whisper of the wind give in the combat log : 178 acc and 26,8 pen on hit, 174 acc and 25,8 pen on swift flurry proc hit. I didnt take the damages rolls in my notes, but considering the lash from Turning Wheel did more damages than some weapons. The base damage for monk's fists is 14-19 crush with 7pen for 0,5-3,0s, at the beginning. It is possible, using the same followed steps, to get a sneak attack at 130% ( and with CP, a devastating Backstab) or a Carnage near to 100% of base weapon. The AoE is not affected through. It is achievable to reach more with SC casters, for exemple, in my try, my SC Bellower +7PL from Classe passive was stacking with everythink. The Stag lance seems stacking as well. I'm actually trying to refind how I had a Eld Nary with 24 Bounces ( with these followed steps, PL 27, eld Nary bounce (27-8)/2 rounded up at the sup, 22 times — I got 5 more PL once but cant remember how. I just made a screenshot ; so maybe 3 more PL for Monk (without counting the lance)). Edit : using Hellfire Ironclad Trinket (+2), and get Brilliant from item (least unstable coil but maybe also Shroud of phantasm and acute from Whispers from the Dephts) give another stackable PL. Switching for the Lance of the Midwood Stag after empowored with the Weyc' Wand give 2 another PL. With the +7 PL from Bellower, 32PL. However, with the Hellfire trinket + acute from Whispers of the Dephts, my Monk stay at PL20 (or 21, doesnt change Transcendant Suffering) with these fists. I have no explanation. * : about this trinket, it is not like usual "draining effect" abilities : the duration is depending effectively to the caster int and this one will be turned "off" for the same duration, but contrarly to other similars spells, the effect can be extended for the target and, then, stay after the caster' return as long prolonged. Like I said, it is possible I missed some items or sources for another stacking PL for my monk.

How long the ennemies may "disabling" your cantor with tiers3 afflictions? I mean your 1.7s is depending of your int but you lowered it, and I understand whatever the affliction, you turn it in some heals instead of punishment, even Enfeebled, but what is the average of "vulnerability period" you was confronted? Very nice build
-
This is because 1: the chant itself doesnt remove concentration but prevent to generate new one concentration layer ; the chant can eventually interrupt but if combined with tiers3 might inspiration (theit champion ... invocation at pl6 for chanter) only on crit or eventually with Deadeye (drug) or Potion of impediment on hit (and the Azure blade, thanks Thelee) ; the hit-roll is against will and Necriscylas' will is, like her fortitude, high, and even more when buffed by Llengrath's safeguard. But there are some others ways to interrupt her.
-
Her high AR come from Llengrath's Safeguard (+5). With Aloth you are probably able to summon the Caedebald's Blackbow, that terrtifie on hit, I forgot to say. If after summoning the weapon, you summon an essential Phantom, he will get the bow too, like an insurance to leave frightened the dragon. Aloth can also Arcane Cleanse Necriscylas when he is safeguarded, to purge the +20 all def. and +5 AR.
