This (recent) topic mention that "Engolio de Espers on kill effect also triggers on any sort of kill " ; Blade Feast is associed to the weapon and generate focus for ciphers. As a SC Soul Blade, you have access to Shared Nighmare, and you gain 10 Max Focus per kill by melee weapon (25 with the Balance polishing Mod). The Weyc Wand can proc from crit (50%) a seal that deals Raw Damage to enemies, a big seal with shared nighmare wich tick rapidely (1sec) and have a correct duration (and can stack with another one). And generate focus. The Grave Calling and the Hel Beckoning proc respectively Chill Fog on killing Vessel (with a chanter in the party) and Noxious Cloud on killing Spirit (with Shroud of phantasm for exemple, the phantoms are very weak, or a chanter in the party), enormous Chill fog or Noxious cloud (so no question to deal with the confuse trick, it is dangerous) that generate focus again. Both stay on the battlefield (or on the Map in fact) and then, when one of them do nothing else that a regular damage of the ability triggered but on big area and, by the way, generate focus, you can switch the weapon to Engolio de Espers, proccing Ghosts Blades when someone die . One time per rest (or per combat with a mod) you can cast Avenging Storm with the Heaven cacophony, and there is a truly cacophony of lighnings, It is like a storm that grow up as mesure ennemies die, and your focus climb. That however don't give you more max focus than you already have, triggering weapon abilities are tagged as weapon but not melee. This is particularly impressive with the Weyc Wand before switching to EdE, when there is many seals, the DPS is the hugeless I see. To build arround that, Aloth armor and the overseeing ring of course, to maximise the area of the effects. With a rogue instead of the cipher, you gain lot of dammages but at the coast of the AoE.

Yes, and you can prolonge the process because the spell is considered like a beneficial effect. I m going to test some thinks : if effect is cleared when combat is over, and if other party members who are affected will proc inspiration on the priest when the shock trigger. Not useful for soloing with vela but like you said it is interesting! Edit : The effect is cleared when the fight is over, so it is not a great think for the ultimate.. Edit 2 : Even out of enemies range, the spell proc periodically inspirations, so a skaen priest will be able to buff itself like usual Ultimate way with tiers 3 inspirations. Note that with a regular party the priest dont need to cast the spell into itself to have the least unstable coil triggering effect. Every 3sec the ability trigger, and independently of enemies hurted or who benefit from the aura, the priest will be granted of inspirations!

As a SC priest, you can get infinite least unstable coil triggering effect at level 16 because of Spark the Souls of the Righteous. The ability is Combat only so I don't know if you can keep this out of battle (I never used the Berath challenge ),well you can extend the duration of the inspirations however. The Ultimate challenge suffer of the lack of immunity items to protect them (inspirations) so if the spell stay out of combat as benefecial effect, you could eventually restore any inspiration wich was counter by affliction (and then remove affliction periodically) in contact of hostile guy. Dont know if that is useful for the challenge.

This build work "easily" with a rogue instead of a beguiler because at tiers 6 you are naturally immune to mental afflictions when below blooded, well you have more amplitude for equipement and food - but anyway, for your interrupting build I suggest to you to equip the skaen robe, with the Armor of flesh upgrade (might immune)!

Just the frostball killing blow, and any abilities that use it to kill, so not carnage raw damages but yes for soul annihilition raw lash damages. Yesterday I was in the Hole tavern in Neketaka and the ogre I choose for my Borrowed instinct was at more than 300sec for that in less than 3 minutes.. I think rogue, monk and devoted are very convenable to use it.

"+20% duration of hostile effects on nearby enemies on scoring Kill" Working from the same rule that Strand of Favor do, that Frostball enchantement can increase the duration of foes debuffs, keeping them paralized or stunned (for exemple) "for ever" . For ciphers, it mean the duration of linking abilities like Psychovampiric shield , Body attunement, Borrowed instinct... will grow for him by the way ; this is not only reliable on Big number' foes fights, because killing your squelettons trigger the effect in the area (maybe 4 meters around the target, maybe), so even a boss alone can be stay in respect . As mentionned in the forum, a full attack with a melee weapon in offhand paired with a ranged one in main hand can be devastating : mortar, keeper of the flame (with eder's armor) etc.. And because I like the on-crit-effect and on-kill-effect , I recruted a new ranger (named just "o") and trained him to the level 16, gave him the Sungrazer with Meteoric and Extinction, and Current rush with High tide, and ordered him to do a serie of Whirling strikes in the melee heart, for the spectacle. That was beautiful. (Hide tide can proc from Current rush crit And from Hide tide crit herself like i read here)

Note that every weapon ability or spell work like Thunderous Report : dragon's Breath from Dragon's Dowry, Searing Seal from Ngati's Tusk, Garland's Breath from Frostseeker, Storm Rune Shot from Thundercrack Pistol (wich, coupled with Overload, can paralize also) and the great Witting Wind from Amira's Wing with his huge area. I dont know for the Deltro's Cage Retentless storm or the Seven Bolt mantle bouncing shock wave, but I dont think so since it is not relied to the weapon. So with 2 or 3 weapons slots (with the giftbearer's cloth for exemple) you can generate focus very fast many time, useful for ascendant and convenient for other subclass.

Because even if they can be suspended, they cant't be cleared, no? And , AndreaColombo, to clarify my remarks, I didn't critic your mod or the way to different people play the game, but that was just my opinion about stacking bonus, precisely rest bonus, that can give totale immunity to every affliction and incredibles other bonus when they stack. That is why I quote a part of your sentence just before and I spoke about semi-god-like, nothing else!

I don't know, that prevent you from arcane dampener and arcane cleans, I mean the permanent mod, and AndreaColombo said " get any food bonus you want, whenever you want", so I spoke about cheesing for those raisons. I didn't say stacking game bonus to consistent bonus (especialy for solo) is cheating.

I agree with you, the PODT difficulty is designed for those who control the game mecanics and search an harder chanllenge than easy mod provide, and make use of your skill, your adaptability, your knowledge, party composition, etc ; beat some "pain ennemies" with strategie and risk reward yourself, not only yours characters. This is the same thing about brilliant + salvation of time+ barring door : brilliant is very useful for some encounters, SoT is helpful also, and barring death is so even salutary, but the combinaison between brilliant and SoT (and barring death and other buffs) is a cheese that remove the risk, and interesting fight become just cleaning zone event. Keeping all permanent bonus with a mod is just like if you transform the POTD difficulty in easy one, but without the shame to play in easy?? I mean the interrest is justement to have enemies who are at less your equivalent, and if you become and semi-god to deal with them, is just like if you play in easy mod. For megabosses, they had added because they are a pain, this is why they are named megabosses. But this is just my opinion.

I really enjoy my sorcerer : — conjurer / fury nature godlike with the lance of the midwood stag , generic +4PL all the time (upon casting the conjurer familiar, fleet feets, and Woodskin or form of the demelgan), great CC build dammaging in the same time ; — forbidden first / skald with aldris blade and tuotilos palm, very fast tanker able to great dammages and control

This is not a build, but a great synergie with solo or multiclassed monk : the Sun and Moon hit twice, for a small amount of damages but a small chance to repeat the attack ; swift flurry and heartbeat drumming give anothe and greater chance to repeat the attack on crit ; the heaven cacophony give Avenging storm. With the high intellect from turning wheel and the higher crit chance from one handed weapon, the weapon of the monk is like a Great Maelstrom Hand with crush, fire, shock and freeze damages, very often in murdering cascade . This is great to see suddenly a big column of numbers above an poor ennemy .. On lvl 20 solo monk with Wotw, because each of 2 hit from the initial attack can proc another strike from different source, so potentialy 4 crit chance (if you duplicate sun and moon) per maximum attack, that can give another 2 chances per proc to crit, with one lightning from Avenging storm per hit , it is fun and impressive. I'm not very confortable with english but I hope everybody understand pretty well the idea !
