Shivering Isles was $30, Dragonborn was $20, and Far Harbor is the largest area they've done for an add-on. Hearts of Stone had barely any new playable area. It's not parts for your robot companions. It's entirely new customizeable companions and a questline.

He writes some of the most fun characters and I hope his new position will allow him to continue that. -
I actually liked it. But I think the main thing that kept me going was the mystery about what happened to Claire. I was positive it was just faked, but the true reveal was a big let down.`

I finally went to watching Arrested Development over Prime this weekend. Got to season 4 and saw that cost money, but I liked the previous ones enough, so I just did a Netflix trial. What have I been doing without Netflix all this time? Good gosh.

Beat the final boss of The Old Hunters, now to move on to the optional boss. The only real difficulty with the optional boss is he has so much health and his final phase can really only be attacked from the sides. He wears you out with attrition.

Boss' wife had a scare when someone claimed to have kidnapped her daughter. Luckily it was just a scam and she got hold of her daughter on the phone, she's fine. The responding officer told us that this kind of scam is going around lately.

Bloodborne The Old Hunters I hate the Living Failures. All I see people talk about as their hard boss are the likes of Ludwig or Laurence. Why do I have so much trouble with these punks?

I finished Fallout 4.

It was good. Not amazing, just good. They did way too much of the shot/reverse shot that happened in the prequels. Two people standing and staring at each other being emotional. It needed to pull the camera back and have them do other stuff. USE SOME FREAKING BODY LANGUAGE

And now Strong must really hate me. I found like 5 suits yesterday.
-
If I don't scavenge every random suit of T-45 I come across, I might as well be dead.
-
Why does Strong hate everything I do? :'( Like I can't just not pick locks. That's crazy.

The first few times I saw them I thought "great, the calvary, I hope they don't kill everyone without me!" It was not long until the boom. It was like 5 raiders FFS. -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMUKGTkiWik Watching this actually makes me a little worried for the new movie. They have Kasdan writing it and Abrams says that the "Force" is central to this new movie, but I'm not seeing any room for a moment like this. Unless it's at the very end. The advertising certainly hasn't shown us anything but explosions and fights. Edit: I take that back. The voiceover from Maz Kanata about eyes could be a moment like this. Or at least trying to be. We'll see. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVCn0Lfm2EY

Hamill said the same thing in at least two separate interviews. "Like Excalibur." He also said that the stunt man who did Vader tried telling him to do some one handed flourishes anyway. When I watched the movies looking out for this, it made Vader more intimidating. He does one-handed blocks and strikes at the beginning of the ESB fight. Like he can match Luke's strength without trying.

I hate the fights in the prequels soooo much. They're like a bunch of people tapping sticks together. It's a couple kids in the backyard afraid of breaking their toys or hurting one another. I mean, when Luke fought Vader in the originals, those two also kept their distance. But every swing felt strong. When someone blocked, it stuck. When someone dodged, a piece of scenery got destroyed. None of this "swinging the lightsaber up and down, then twirl" crap.

TPM's fight is the closest to a good fight in the entire prequels. But that's because of Ray Park, not his weapon. Lots of flourish, power, and emotion from the actor, even without lines. And the weapon itself sort of highlights a dichotomy between Sith/Jedi, perhaps unintentionally. Jedi have a simple weapon primarily for defense, but with the Sith, fighting and attacking are all they're about, so they get more elaborate. Of course, Attack of the Clones throws part of that idea out with Obi-Wan telling Anakin the lightsaber is his life. Seems kind of redundant. The lightsaber was conceived by Lucas for its defensive properties. The first thing Luke was trained to do was defend.

Halloween too. -
Still wasting time with Star Wars Battlefront. I really like it, it's my kind of shooter. Just wish it had more maps, considering there's only three on Walker Assault that are any good. Endor is garbage.

It'd be an interesting narrative device, but a terrible gameplay one. Which means I'd totally play it along with dozens of other people.

Is it true there's no single player campaign? What's the online play like, anyway? CoD-esque, but third person view? I got about 2:30 of play last night and the early verdict is not bad. I haven't played CoD since World War II, so I can't compare. But this is really a first person shooter with a third person option. There's no bunnyhopping, people aren't sniping your spawn from max draw distance (in fact, the only sniper looks to have a cooldown), grenades have a small radius unless you get one of the powerups. Right now gameplay is mainly people taking potshots at one another from long range, only getting kills when someone stands out in the open too long. Eventually everyone gets to a chokepoint and just starts suppressing the crap out of it (which looks very impressive with all the lasers flying about) until someone gets blown up or their capture point flanked. If I had to compare it to something, it would be the earlier Battlefront games from Pandemic. Only instead of classes you have weapon unlocks and power cards. And with a whole lot less content. The lack of content is the only real negative for me. I played the 40 player game mode last night and only saw 4 maps doing it. Also the aerial component of the game is completely pointless. Might be better in Walker Assault. But the arena is too small and the aircraft don't interact with the guys on the ground at all.

I might have just pre-ordered Battlefront for the Darth Vader theme. Does this make me a horrible person? Yes or yes.

Fallout 4 still I just finished off old cornflakes. Taking a break to collect what bobbleheads I can. Almost to Charisma! And then I'll be able to pacify humans. I can pacify Supermutants right now and incite them to attack, which is boffo.

I fully expect him to have embraced evil and I'll be conflicted since he's working with the people who killed his mom. For 5 seconds before I shoot the brat.
