From what I know, these bounties are for people (or animals) that are terrorizing parts of the deadfire and killing people in those areas. Different parts belong to different factions but murder is murder. You shouldn’t think about this too much like Batman. Sure, you become a murderer when you kill another murder, but kill all the murderers and number of murderers drastically decreases

Enchantments are: 1) Echo of the Godhammer: Significant burn damage to nearby enemies when wearer falls unconcious 2) Hold the Bridge: Wearer gains engagement as HP decreases 3) Protection of the Godhammer: When wearer is Near Death, gain 1 armor and deal 4-8 fire damage to melee attackers (Basically Fire Godlike passive) 4) Stall for Time: Nearby enemies have -40% stride when landing a hit with a disengagement attack Also, aren't you able to go back to areas you've already done?

Even when I was helping the Principi (The Pirates of the Deadfire) I usually resolved all their quests by killing other pirates, using diplomacy and not breaking the law, or dismantling the questgiver with my sword. (I don't negotiate with pirates =P). If killing other pirates makes me a pirate, then I'm gonna keep taking them sons o' bitc*es down so I can at least remove some pirates from the world. It may seem like the game pushes you to be a pirate, but I feel there are so many other options, even when doing quests FOR the pirates. Alternatively, you can just straight up ignore all the Principi and massacre them like I did in my first playthrough.

None that I've come across. There goes my hopes of ever upgrading any more equipment to legendaryHave u checked if Treasure Trove merchant sell em?Iirc, Adra ban is never sold by any merchant. You have to find itor be lucky with sand blights and they drop it.Yeah I thought maybe, because until recently I thought u couldn't buy emeralds, ambers and blackpearls either but those are purchaseable at Treasure trove. Have u checked Mad Morena pockets and drunk guard next to Ernezzo? They spawn a random high tier gem in their pockets and if ur lucky u might get adra bans Mad Morena had an emerald and I think it’s too late to get one from the guard, seeing as I separated his soul from his body through violent means.

I found it best to use long range cannons. Stay 450-600m away from the enemy and fire a volley. Since you’re broadside, use “full speed ahead” to gain a dodge bonus so enemy return fire doesn’t hit you, making sure to stop moving before your cannons reload for an accuracy bonus. If you’re using a faster ship, then jibe instead and fire a second volley, then full speed ahead for the bonus. Once you get a junk/galleon I found it best to slap on double bronzers on one side and long range cannons on the other. If the enemy is closer to you, basically one volley with the double bronzers will end the fight. If they are at a distance, then use the same strat as above. If you’d still prefer to board the enemy. Weaken their crew with grapeshot before boarding to make the fight easier.

Not working outside of combat. At least for me on these two soulbound items when it comes to Chillfog. :\ Though, come to think of it, now this might give SOME use to those irritating auto-sicken zones in the Old City/Overlook. edit Yep. That works. Just stand in a sicken zone and wait a while. Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you. I needed this

Fampyrs are kith that have had their lives unnaturally extended. Though they retain most of a normal humanoid appearance, they are merely a few missed meals away from devolving into mindless monstrosities, and they know it. As fampyrs maintain individual personalities and memories, this morbid knowledge may manifest itself in a number of ways. Some may become reclusive and cautious, avoiding any threats that could prematurely weaken or destroy them, and others become outgoing hedonists, seeking to enjoy every pleasure the world has to offer while they can. Sooner or later, every fampyr (unless killed) will inevitably succumb to decay. Because fampyrs require living essence in order to stay alive, and the blood of kith provides the richest and most immediate source of it, they are shunned by most civilized communities. As a result, fampyrs tend to live at the fringes of society, if they participate in it at all. Copypasta Source: PoE wiki/PoE Bestiary This means Ydwin is only kind of a fampyr. (Halfpyr?) Since she was still young (for an elf, I guess), she hasn’t really extended her life past a natural death. She just needs life essence to keep her body (which she is now just possessing) alive. I find it easier to understand if I just think of her body as a construct and her soul is controlling it, but it needs an occassional blood oiling.

As far as I know, the game has always had all my crew and companions in ship battles. His crew may have been injured and not been able to fight, but companions/sidekicks basically show up no matter what, even if they’re knocked out during previous ship battles. (I never hired adventurers so maybe once you have too many companions it starts selecting them?) I also wouldn’t kill off the companions (unless you’re RPing) because they gain levels while not in your party anyway. Just go to a tavern and swap them into your party to level them up and proceed to ignore them after that.

Did they actually fix that? Does the damage one deals to the enemy ship during the ship combat phase transfer over to the boarding phase (injuries to their crew members etc.)? Injuring enemy crew keeps them from fighting in battles. The ship’s defenders (mercenaries and proper fighters) will still be present.

When you enter a ship battle you will notice a little number in the lower right on the enemy side. That is their crew number. A ship will have crew in addition to its defenders. Crew can be injured, forcing them out of the fight if you decide to board, but defenders always stay. Your ship has the same thing, with your crew being able to get injured and your companions being defenders. This means that before you board you should always whip out the grapeshot and try to weaken the enemy crew. That could be the difference between fighting 24 people and 12 people in some cases. You can see why those numbers would screw you on PotD, especially with the limited area you’re in during ship battles.

So far I'm really enjoying it, but I'm purposefully taking it slow so I can take in the wonderful visuals. Deadfire has always impressed me with fantastic lighting in the maps (It's one of the reasons I love to carry xoti and her lamp around in dark areas) and this DLC so far has really shown just how beautiful the game can be.
