Influence guide ? (w00t) Wanna have ! :D I think I didn't needed much influence to turn people ... Bao-Dur had only a single influence gain, I think, and still I could turn him to Jedi (the very moment I saw him last time, amusingly - I couldn't even access his levelup screen anymore ! But he became guardian anyway which was a very stupid choice for him).
-
Where am I complaining ?
-
What are the Repair / Computer Use values needed to update T3-M4 to the maximum ?
-
Its even better, because you only have to play Pazaak one time at all (in the course of a quest). :D In KotoR1 you had to beat that guy on the space station 10 times to get lower prizes...
-
Whow, Kreia again. Thank you for the tipp. Will help me if I try a second walkthrough. :D
-
Um. Sorry, but thats REALLY totally wrong. You meet a guy who was interested in her. And she rejected him. Because she liked him and all, but she's lesbian (she doesn't say it explicitly but once you realize that she's lesbian you understand thats her real reason). She never was his girlfriend.
-
Oooooooooooooh !!! Ok that explains it. Yeah my character is male and I have Handmaiden. She's the only character I managed to jedi-ize, too ! And I indeed have a wis score of 34... 16 natural, +6 ls mastery, +4 from lightsaber (personal crystal), +4 from robe, +2 from implant, +2 from some other item. Meaning a +12 Wis bonus and therefore +12 AC from that feat. Whow, now thats indeed powerful !!!!!
-
Yeah, but sadly I have a german KotoR2 so no Team Gizka patches for me... yet.
-
Teh that robe of hers is really beautiful. If one also adds a silver double lightsaber she's looking perfect.
-
None. I love silver for Handmaiden. Blue is also very ok with her. Cyan maybe too, but I haven't had a cyan color crystal yet. I love viridian for my main guy. Alternatively green or blue. I love orange for Vistas. Violet or yellow would work as well. And well, Kreia gets a bloodred lightsaber (she never goes lightside no matter how much influence I gain with her, which was a BIG hint about her true nature). So really, I don't have any color I don't like.
-
WHAT ??? YOU CAN UPGRADE YOUR PERSONAL CRYSTAL ??? HOW ?????? Waah I never upgraded that one. Thought it would level automatically when I level ... I thought Energy Resistance and Force Immunity are standards ?!? I never leave home without those. Especially since everyone can "Plague" you if you don't have Force Immunity. And 'Plague' is what I would use against Kreia. Even she can't resist it, as she has no Force Immunity up and I think she also has no Force Resistance. By the way, I took "Force Breach" but NOBODY IN THE WHOLE GAME *EVER* BUFFS HIMSELF ??? Kreia was in fact really funny. When she went on low health, she tried to get hitpoints by casting lifedrain. Unfortunately for her I had Force Immunity up. Instead of trying to breach it or trying to wound me otherwise, she just kept trying to lifedrain me until she really was down first time ! LOL Then she summoned these floating lightsabers and that was even more funny. Because I just ran around the whole construct and attacked Kreia from the other side(not wanting to spend my time with the lightsabers) - and the lightsabers tried to follow me, but lost sight of me, stationed themselves somewhere on the way I took and, being unable to see me, simply stayed put there and out of the way while I killed Kreia a second time. Crappy AI, really. Strangely, its worse than KotoR1. But killing Kreia took so long I wasn't really sad about it. Especially since I hardly ever hit her. Unequipping the immortality belt (-2 attack), equipping all Dex giving items, and changing from Power Attack (-3 attack) to normal attack helped a lot however. Then she was down quite fast. And yeah, that first Darth is nothing short of a joke. Lasted about 2 times 2 or 3 rounds, and 2 dialogues. Second Darth was a lot harder, needed like half a douzen lifepacks against him (needed some of those against Kreia, too), especially since I missed so often (should really have started switching equipment like against Kreia). But not really a form of stress when you have like 70 of those anyway, plus maxed Treat Injury.

My Jedi Consolar16/Jedi Master10 has an AC of 40 but I can't figure out why ? He has +10 AC from classlevel, +5 from Dex 20, and +3 from items. Should result in AC 28, shouldn't it ? The rest of my Jedi all have AC values around 25 to 27, all well explainable from their stats, items, and jedi level. So I'm really confused here. Whats going on ?!?

The main hint is actually the Jedi woman that walks around the central fountain of the Jedi Enclave. If (and only if) you kill Juhani instead of redeeming her (a VERY stupid thing to do because Juhani, skilled right, is the most powerful of your party members), you will meet that woman again on Korriban where she had turned evil and tries to kill you.
-
Um, Juhani was a lesbian romance that was cut by Lucas Arts because they didn't liked it. Or so the devs on forums.bioware.com said (sorry, I haven't saved a link to that statement).
-
Its more like: female gamers are a minority, as are female game developers. Oh, and KotoR1 already had rather crappy romances, too. BG was MUCH better in this respect.
-
In KotoR1, you could as well forget about Con and Int, mostly. Int only gave you some bonus if you got insane values - Int 14 for only a single additional skillpoint, pfft !!! And Con only gave you hp and fort saves. All Jedi got best Fort saves, and only the Consolar was a bit low on hp, so Con could easily be left at 8 with hardly any problem. But in KotoR2 I have the feeling as if Con and Int are seriously overpowerd now. You need a natural (i.e. no items, buffs or force mastery) Con 18 to wear the best implants. And Int is required to get all the skills, which is required to build the best items - even if Bao Dur can help sometimes in this respect, but he cannot access the Ebon Hawk tools - because you can't have a party on the Ebon Hawk. I have the feeling as if Obsidian simply reversed the priorities - before Int and Con where kinda superflous, now they are the central keys to make your character powerful.
-
If it REALLY is this way, then I have no clue whats going on. With Int 14, Consolar gets 4, and Sentinel gets 5 skillpoints per level. And its exactly this way on my computer.
-
How have you build your character ? I am playing a lightside Consolar / Jedi Master with Str 8 and everything else at 14. Then I gave +2 to Wis (what a waste), +2 to Int (should have done that one first). Next thing will probably be +2 to Con for higher Implants.

KotoR 3: Ideas, Suggestions, Discussion
Gecon replied to CoM_Solaufein's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
If there would be KotoR3, I would like to have: 1. Better graphics. Really, the graphics of KotoR2 are kinda embarassing if you have Oblivion on your comp, too. 2. Better party control. Something like BG would be great. Let me allow to move people around independently, and allow me strategic retreats. 3. More, and more useful feats. A soldier really has problems getting ANY useful feats anymore once you have him at level 20 or so. Give us Tumble, Combat Expertise, Whirlwind etc ! 4. No link between Constitution and Implants. Man that one really sucked big time. I'm all for making Consitution a bit more useful but that was seriously overdone. -
Most likely - because its the only savegame editor in existence for KotoR 1+2 ...
-
I'm not in the group of people who claim that Revan and Bastila had sex in that scene. I'm in the group of people that claim that WE DON'T KNOW.

Well, if you go for - single long lightsaber - long and short lightsaber - dual lightsaber does NOT depend upon "good" and "bad". - single long lightsaber is good if you don't want to concentrate on lightsaber useage at all. And Kreia can only use that variant of a lightsaber anyway. - long and short lightsaber, well in KotoR2 specifically one has the problem of getting any short lightsaber in the first place. The second problem is of course getting propper updates for both lightsabers. Otherwise this is the configuration of choice for anyone who does a strength focussed Jedi with Critical Strike. With focussing on Strength, the Stun ability of Critical Strike becomes much more effective. And with Critical Strike, you potentially can do more damage than anyone else, if, and only if, you are working on maximizing your Strength. - with KotoR2, long and short lightsabers, preferably keen, are ALSO a good option for people going for Power Attack, because they get a crit on 19 and 20 (or even 17 to 20 when keen), because the lightsaber then does 3x damage. - dual lightsabers for anyone else, for best guaranteed damage, and lowest cost in respect to resources.

what was your chars name in kotor2
Gecon replied to JediMasterNalik's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Duh, somehow I ended up naming my Jedi Zachias. Don't ask me why, the name just popped up when I was prompted for one. I have forgotten his family name, too. LOL ROTFL !!! :D -
They DO have Sex in Star Wars. Otherwise Luke and Leia Skywalker wouldn't exist, would they ? They do have sex like they do kill people ... you never actually SEE someone dying. Star Wars is a bit a fairy tale, after all.

Whow, great tip, thank you ! But: you can beat Sion at Korriban ??? Thought it was hardcoded that you loose that one...
