  1. Kreia is actually wonderful in party, because you share buffs with her. Means you can get two single person buffs, like speed and that resist damage thing, very fast, and of course Kreia already gets Knight and Master Speed when others still lag far behind.
  2. KotoR1: Fav: Star Forge Planet - it is SO BEAUTIFUL !!! - I also like Tatooine, Kashyyyk and Korriban. Diz: Manaan - man these Selkath are ANNOYING AS HELL ! KotoR2: Fav: Nar Shaddaa - only planet that really feels finished. Diz: Korriban - thats a really bad joke. Dantooine is far too short as well. Overall I have to say that the KotoR1 planets are a lot better. Manaan is annoying, but at least it is not at all TOO SHORT. P.s.: Politics ? I don't mind politics in games as long as its not an invading form of ideology. Like you would be forced to believe that rich people should become even richer to make everyone more prosperous (don't laugh, thats the political dogma here in germany, ALL and I mean: really ALL really powerful and influental politicans do it at the moment here, and since decades already now).
  3. Oh, and when Kreia complains that more and more people are on the Ebon Hawk: - I'd love to know how to get rid of them... but sadly it seems impossible.
  4. Well, 2nd worst companion - thats hard to decide for me. I think its one out of Atton, HK-47 and Mandalore, but I really can't decide which. Nevertheless I like them all a lot more than G0-T0. Maybe in KotoR3 we can throw people out of the Ebon Hawk... :D
  5. Well thats obviously G0-T0 for me - but he is not in your poll ! I dislike G0-T0 because of his personality, not because of his stats. Oh, and his looks are awful as well. He's the ugliest character for sure, a bulky floating cube. And I dislike that a party member looks like a opponent. Before I get G0-T0, I have slaughtered a douzen or so of these robots. And SUDDENLY one of the joins me ? Pfft !
  6. Oh, thats easy. They're opponents. I like them all. Dead !
  7. Yeah, and Watchmen get Sneak Attacks. So... which is better ? Who knows. And a will save is neither a bob nor a george save. :D (If you don't know what that is then don't bother about it, its not that important anyway)
  8. Teh the last thread about this hasn't even left the first page yet :D http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=44696
  9. Actually, when you KNOW what will come, then you get a ton of clues from EVERYBODY in the game. I was totally OUCH in my second walkthrough because I noticed so many hints towards the story twitch.... :D
  10. You can't even keep them alife if you are LS, can you ?
  11. You think such discussions have a point and anyone NOT a fanboy (or s.o. with the will to waste time) would join them ? Interesting. It is quite obvious that the guy wins of whom the story says he would win. For example: Luke Skywalker vs Darth Vader: Vader is a Sith of age 50 or so. He has trained and done combat for 40 years. Luke had some months of training. Nevertheless Luke manages to disarm Vader in Episode VI. Likely ? No, not really.
  12. Romance ? Handmaiden ? Hu ?
  13. KotoR1 Main Character - long and short violet, later the special colors Bastila - dual yellow Juhani - dual blue Jolee - long green KotoR2 Main Character - dual vidian Handmaiden - dual silver Vistas - long and short bronze (that special one from Duxun) Kreia - long red Mira, Atton, Disciple, Bao-Dur - haven't used them with lightsabers yet
  14. SHHHH !!! Don't tell that to everyone ! Thats supposed to be a secret ! :p
  15. Errm ... "prefer" ?!?!?!? What does that mean ??? They're opponents, not allies. I have to battle them. What does "prefer" refer to in this respect ??? There are a ton of possible interpretations: Easy to kill - Nihilus. Interesting battle - Sion. Fearsome - Nihilus. Backstory - Sion. Coolness - Sion. Consistency - Nihilus. Character Concept - Remis. Another pointless poll.
  16. LOL - except that people with an XBox360 report performance issues as well.
  17. Except that, when the Excile faces Darth Nihilus, he is about level 26 to 28 (if you play the game normal and don't powerlevel on Korriban) and is everything, but not a "dead spot in the force".
  18. Hu ? Thats strange. Gamebanshee states: Yeah but you're XBox - so no Team Gizka or other means to fix things for you.
  19. I keep all my saves... I must have about 50 different walkthroughs (most stopped quite early) of Morrowind and KotoR1. I also sort the characters into different subdirectories (usually something like: walkthrough_finished, saves_active, saves_test, saves_fun, saves_trash, ... ) and give the directory very descriptive names (race, class, alignment, name, depending upon game) so I can easily keep track of them. Its kinda fun to examine how you have build your first character in a game when you where totally clueless... I have checked my first BG1 character once and MAN THAT ONE SUCKED I didn't even knew I could reroll, or reorder, so the poor guy had all stats below 14 ... (ADnD sucks).
  20. I heard the Consolar -> Jedi Watchman Combo works really great. The Prestige Class also gets Sneak Attacks. And they get all skills as class skills for FREE. Personally I always go for Consolar -> Jedi Master. No extra skills or extra class skills, but I can build my skills from early on and know what will happen. I get Computer Use as class skill from the feat early, then concentrate on Twoweapon, then a battle skill (Flurry, Power Attack and Critical Strike all work well). Getting most out of the game ? Thats skills, isn't it ? Your stats are horrible, IMHO. Con 15 ? Are you THAT eager to hit Con 16 early ?!? What a waste. I would do something like: Str 14, Dex 10, Con 14, Int 14, Wis 14, Cha 12 Cha only protects you from alignment changes from using opposite forces, and gives you a bonus on the power of your force (i.e. the saves of the opponents get harder). It does NOT give you additional forcepoints anymore. Or take Str 10, Dex 14 instead, but then you have to take TWO feats to be effective in melee (with lightsaber and conventional weapons), thats why I prefer to focus on Str instead. Besides, you get your personal shield, so if you worry that the Con +3 Bonus is lost: stop worrying. Your personal shield gives you Con +1 anyway. However, to wear the corresponding Implants, you need a TRUE Bonus, not a bonus from items. As attribute progression, I would get +2 on Int first, then continue with Con for better implants. Once you hit Con 16 or 18 (whatever you want), you can focus on either Str or Wis (as you like it).
  21. Well, you don't wonder what its all about, but the end is very unfinished and some actions of your opponents remain in a state of being very hard to understand. At the end you also get pushed into some levels with tasks that have not be explained before and are never talked about afterwards either. In short, the end of the game is some kind of beta, storywise. The earlier levels are finished, however. Oh, and if you're not planning to buy the english original, you should really try to get that one, because then you can already play with the stuff from Team Gizka who are trying to restore all left out content, or at least most of it. People like me who have the german version are excluded, sadly.
  22. Chuck Norris ? Who is Chuck Norris ? And Darth Nihilus was such a sad joke of an opponent that I'd say: A vs Darth Nihilus = A wins.
  23. The airspeeder is pretty useless anyway. He docks at such bad level loctions that in general you gain absolutely zero by using it.
  24. Yoda > Vandar : Without doubt. Luke > Revan : Obviously, as Revan is just some very foggy personality, we don't even know for sure about the gender. Death Star > Star Forge : No, I can't see that. Both are pretty cool. Millennium Falcon > Ebon Hawk : Ebon Hawk is MUCH more stylish. Vader > Marlak : Some thousand times. Marlak has no personality whatsoever, he's just some villain. R2-D2 > T3-M4 : Just because R2-D2 is the original. Otherwise T3-M4 is exactly the same thing with different looks. Plot twist in ESB>Lame plot twist in K1 : Not at all. The plot twist of K1 was as good as "I am your father, Luke" Story in OT>Story in K1 : Well, agreed. The story of a computer game must fit into different requirements than that of a movie. Try doing a romance triangle like Leia - Han - Luke in a computer game...
  25. Definitely R2-D2. C3-PO : Second to R2-D2. HK-47 : I never understood whats so funny about that one. T3-M4 : Thats just R2-D2 with a different chassis. Remote : Duh. Annoying voice. G0-T0 : I would put him on a nice Asterioid and leave him there. And feel sorry for whoever ends up picking him up. But maybe if I find a very good Asterioid for that purpose it will never happen and G0-T0 will just drift for millions of years until the whole thing is eaten by the galaxis' central black hole. IG88 / R4-P17 : Whats that ? Can't remember those.
