Movies you've seen recently
Just got back from watching this. Lovely romantic comedy, just delighted at how the lovely couple managed to get back together in the end. Would recommend it, especially for Bruce. I think he would love it to bits. I had to wipe away a tear at the ending. I loved the book. Is it true that this is David Fincher's best film since Fight Club? The book gets very heavily into what the characters are thinking so the ending does make sense even if it was a terrible decision.

My favorite moments were: My favourite bit of dialogue was definitely the part about the battery.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
that was better than most CGI I've ever seen in video games. It's worth pointing out that cameras and digital art have improved dramatically since FMV videogames were a thing. You'd think that if the genre did come back to life then there'd be at least a few that looked fantastic.

Test footage for Deadpool
If Guardians of the Galaxy could be turned into a movie then you'd expect Deadpool to make it sooner or later. The X-Men movies have been getting darker and more adult with each instalment so I don't think the age rating will be an issue, they may even want to beat Sony to the punch with their Venom spin-off.

Which engine is that? Frostbite? I thought they were only using it for DA, any word that the new ME will be in Frostbite? There was an article and an early screenshot ages back. But yeah, frostbite is the engine of choice atm. http://airherald.com/expect-new-details-about-mass-effect-4-after-comic-con/5199/

It would probably make for an interesting side quest chain having to deal with the ramifications of that.

Origin Sales
Well that's debatable, Origin is more Spartan than Steam and so if you just want a program to buy and play games and do a bit of chatting with then Origin is great. Steam offers more features though, is better for gamer groups and helps organise and announced play schedules, is better for inviting people into games, better at achievement tracking if that appeals ect. Steam has a much wider selection, more frequent and usually better sales and sells actual, useful software and is dipping it's toe into videos also. Origin has EA exclusives that are not to be sniffed at and when they do throw a sale it's usually pretty good value. £22 for Titanfall so early and BF3 for free being recent examples. Steam do fun events and gimmicks, Origin not so much. There are more examples but I'm too tired to list them. Origin certainly isn't bad though. It was a nightmare at BF3's launch but now it's very slick and stable so you shouldn't let the program put you off any more than Steam fight.

A horror RPG still sounds pretty interesting, but I'm always going to have a hollow place in my heart for Crucible.

Arma 3
I've only played a little of Arma 2 but I agree with Monte. The tutorials, especially the one from Arrowhead do a brilliant job of explaining things but beyond the basics there is still a lot to know that can bite you in the ass later. Medicine, compass, map, vehicles ect are all optional as far as being able to play go, but this isn't a typical game series this is Arma. Most of my time on Arma was spent waiting for a pickup and then waiting to arrive at the destination, praying that the pilot had actually bothered to play the tutorial. Don't get me wrong, the game is aces when the majority of both teams know what they're doing and work together, but it's hard to find that level of play on public servers. Also, being a pretty authentic sim, you need to learn how to do things differently to other shooters,it takes a lot of time and patience to become even average at arma and understand how the game you're playing works, and if you're not even average you're probably going to spend ages getting to a fire fight then get taken out pretty quickly. Arma is very rewarding but a bitch to learn and you really do need more than the correct keys to get the arma experience people keep talking about. Sorry for the typos, kindle autocorrect.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
Team Silent disbanding was a great loss but I did love Homingcoming and think there were more than enough clever and subtle things in the game to prove The Collective were capable of taking the series over. But yeah, the well has been rather dry lately. In this day and age though how scary are ghosts going to be to a teenage girl when you can stop them by taking their picture? Surely the ghost is the underdog in that scenario? He can't even sneak up on them without risking selfie oblivion.
