Morgan Man said that they are trying to make it work but it is using up too much memory. As it sits they are way over memory and are looking for things to cut and unfortunatly this might be something they will have to cut in order to get the memory down to a workable level.

Hey devs, What type of system requirements are we looking at for the PC version of KOTOR II?

Same here, my self I have lost count of how many times I have played it in the past 6 months or so since I got the game but I still find little things that I didn't know or hadn't payed attention to in so long I had forgot about them. If I had to guess I would say that I have played the game around 30 times maybe more maybe less. I wouldn't say that its getting boring but I would say that I can't sit and play it for 30 hours straight like I did when I first got the game... only like 2hrs or there abouts . Anyay to kill two birds with one stone here what makes a game replayable for me is how well it brings me into the game play, If a game can make forget that there is a qorld outside of where ever I am playing it then I am going to play it more than a few times.

One problem with your idea about the computer being able to handle it is that not everyone has a computer with a gig of ram and a 256mb video card. Thus meaning that they would have to either include the option and not have a lot of people who would like to use it be able to use it or cut it out entirely. Then agian I guess they could test it on different level computers and then offer it as a patch with its own requirements that way only those who can run it can download it and it wont effect the other people's game play.

just an add on: will npc's notice it, or anyone else for that matter? Maybe not but I think it would be cool if they could work it in so that if you were a DS and got the tattoo then all the NPC's would recognize you as a sith and not still act as if you were a good jedi. or maybe make it so that it would give you different conversation options.

will there be an chance to get a sith tattoo during the PC creation or at some point in the game?

I like the idea of beign able to put your hood up and down or choose sith face paint but I would also like the option the get masks from the sith lords that you kill as well as their cloaks.

I was wondering if we will be able to skip the movies that play during the cut scenes? (for an example the scene above taris in KOTOR just after canderus joins your party, where Malak orders the destruction of trais).

I was just thinking and I was wondering if it was possible that the pict that we are calling atris could be a PC and not a NPC. hey anything is possible at this point, but from the look of the wallpaper it could be. Anyone have any Ideas on this? oh and as I think I said above I did pick Atris

not to be too rude but whos fault is that, I just watched the trailer today so I guess I would have the advantage on anyone who watched prior to when sion what announced but I still noticed it. And I didn't have to watch it extremly closely all I had to do was pay attention when the video was loading. I have 56k so I advance the loading bar to make sure I am still getting an active download from the source.

It can't realy be a spoiler if they chose to release the pict and info after they released the trailer on LucasArts own web site, I mean come on look at the pict and then watch the first 2 seconds of the video and you will see sion standing there. Now it also has to be said that they have yet to confirm weither he is in fact the new big boss because for all we know they might have all the dark lords standing there from time to time (i.e. rotating Dark Lords). mind you I would doubt it but anything is possible.

Yeah that would be a pretty freakin sweet job if you love games. It is a really repetitive process that some may find tedious. Also I believe you have to be willing to work something like 50+ hours a week. I would do it in an instant if given the chance. I am sure the dev's will welcome the kudos even if some other people on the site don't. maybe it will encourage them to relase some more new info if more people did this.

I read someplace on the board that the only thing that could slow down the release now is the beta testing. so hopefully they don't have too many problems to fix. I always kinda wondered how does someone get a job beats testing. Now thats a job I would love to do! :D

I was wondering the same thing because more and more sites I am going to are saying that it will be out in winter 2004 (i.e. dec 06 2004) but the lucas site still say's feb 2005 to the best of my knowledge. Mind you any advace on the date is a VERY good thing.
