  1. NWN2 Horses? All companies do this early on in the dev cycle. Which is why they shouldn't say anything about the game til everything is certain.
  2. True, but Peter did outright lie what you would be able to do in Fable.
  3. I think religion has a part, but it is not the sole reason for the divisions of the human race. What we need is a world cataclysmic event that threatens to destroy all of the human race unless we put aside our differences and work together as one people, as one world. Then we get the Watchmen scenerio.
  4. That is why we should use windows. Wait, there are no windows in the Realms.
  5. In my ever so humble opinion, this is Neverwinter Nights 2 os horrendous design flaw. I do hope that in future incarnations and Obsidian's newer works will not have this flaw. It destroys any point of playing an actual rogue in the game.
  6. Originality is good if you can do two things. 1) Get it to work right. 2) Not overhype it by making claims what the game can do then not deliver on those claims. Fable succeeds in 1, but fails in 2.
  7. Rowan Atkinson is very good.
  8. Well, I don't think the McDonald's guys would be in jail for long. They got a rogue that can break them out. Damn that Hamburglar!
  9. What I like to do is get a bomeless chicken breast, cut a hold in it, stuff it with swiss cheese, then spice it up with garlic, season pepper, chili powder, and various other seasoning I have in my cupboard. Bake it for 20 minutes at 420 degrees. Downright good stuff I say.
  10. *Grabs a random Baldwin and chucks him at Tale* Happy now?
  11. A hamster that gets out of its cage while the flooring company personal is laying down carpet, gets trapped under the secured carpeting, and the unknowing working uses a hammer to smoth out the bump, thusly creating a huge red stain on the newly installed carpet. Time for a new hamster and time for a new carpet, and possibly time for the guy to get a new job.
  12. For some it is an excuse, for others it is a reason. For those who use religion as an excuse often manipulate those who act because of religion. For example, Osama Bin Ladin is a viscious, power hungry terrorist that uses Islam as an excuse to justify his desires. He and those like him manipulate younger and more impressionable Muslims to do terrible terrorist acts in the name of Islam. For these people, their Islamic faith is the reason and justification for their actions.
  13. The problems I had with Gothic was 1) I couldn't create my character and 2) the controls of the game were quite wonky. If I am going to play a CRPG one of the main things I like to do is make my own character. If I can't make my own character then the story had better be superior to anything currently on the market for it to make up for that. Also if a game has bad controls, which in my opinion Gothic had, I just can't get intot he game. I won't go into the argument that Gothic isn't a CRPG because that would be silly. It is as much as a CRPG as Bloodlines or Torment, its just not one that I like. Baseline Oblivion wasn't all that difficult. It was just as difficult as 1st level as it is at 30th level. That is why I use a lot of mods on it.
  14. QUIET YOU!
  15. Run and duck.
  16. You know, if I faced a super mutant and I am not in power armor or with a strong weapon I would... RUN! Sometimes the smartest thing the PC can do is run the frack away. In the words of Khalid... "Better part of valor! BETTER PART OF VALOR!"
  17. Unfortunately.
  18. The sooner we deepsix religious doctrines of the BIG THREE as well as the useless superstitions of gods and devils the sooner we can have our unified Earth. Religion is one of the major reasons for the various schisms of human culture. It always boils down to "my God is better than your God" or "my way of worshiping God is better than your way" or some other trivial nonsense that people are willing to kill over.
  19. I wouldn't go the three separate countries route but maybe more of a 3 separate but equal states with Bagdhad set up like Washington D.C., but instead of having a centralized federal government like the US, have it more like how the Articles of Confederation would have set things up. No one is forced to move but if a person do not like to live with Sunnis or Kurds or Shiites he or she could move to a province that has less and not as focused on one of the ethnic side of things, or move to Bagdhad where it would be more of a melting pot. In the end there is no optimal solution and only the Iraqis can decide what is best for them. Not the US, The Brits, nor the U.N..
  20. There hasn't been a challenging CRPG since Fallout 2.
  21. Gods, I hope 4e never makes it to the computer format. Its bad enough that WotC is making a 4e. From what I have read about 4e it is going to be an ubermunchkin's wet dream. Far more than what 3.5e was. NWN2 is the best DnD game I have played so far and I don't see anything really disappointing about the rules implementation of the game. There were some irritating bits but far from disappointment. What is disappointing about DnD is 4e. They are basically taking out what makes DnD DnD and putting in a load of garbage in it to attract the WoW generation. They are making it as bland as GURPS, only less fun.
  22. UN Peacekeeping forces are a joke. They are way too weak to keep any sort of order or peace. Sending them in would only get them killed. The US and Brits do need to remove their forces and equipment out of Iraq and let Iraq fend for itself.
  23. Exactly, Aegeri!
  24. So far I have been running off 5 hours of sleep for the past 48 hours and I feel... FINE!
