  1. True, but in the context of the preview provided here the authors stated their opinion of the game based on their views of what makes a proper Fallout game. If Mkreku gets the chance to write up his own preview of the demo as seen in NMA's webpage I am sure we would get quite a different article that the one we got from NMA.
  2. Says you. That's how I Aced my Abnormal Adult, Abnormal Child, and Interviewing classes. By being the test subject?
  3. Why, gosh you are right! I never thought of that! Of course I am right. I am always right, except in cases when I'm wrong.
  4. That would be a major boost for multiclassed Rogues who take the arcane or the Warlock route.
  5. I am currently going through the campaign again working with a Rogue/Wizard/Arcane Trickster with Tony K's improved AI. Definitely makes the game more fun. I am expecting things to be a little more difficult in MotB for her. I just wished you Obsidian got Mystic Theurge in the game as well as Warlock themed Prestige Class or two.
  6. The point of going to class is to pay attention and learn, not to snooze.
  7. Bah, they should just have everyone speak Welsh.
  8. Irish? Do I get to kill the Elvish? Umm... Yeah. EXCELLENT!
  9. I thought the voice work in NWN2 was top notch, just needed some reworking in some areas. Manly voiced female brigands scare me.
  10. The preview was definitely biased but it was done so in a polite manner. If you are going to make a game with the name Fallout on the box people are going to expect a Fallout game. Plain and simple. That is just the way it is, Mkreku. People are going to judge its worth as a Fallout game, for better or ill. If you can't get that through your skull then the deficiency is yours, not the previewer or the reviewer, Mkreku. If Pete Hines and crew didn't see how this was going to end up that is also a deficiency on Bethesda. None and SuaSide (msp?) were very polite and made clear points on what they consider strengths and weaknesses of Fallout 3. In fact I think both previewers did a very professional job writing the preview up and overall reflects well on both Bethesda and NMA. After all, Bethesda has to think thier game is shaping up nicely if they are letting NMA get a crack at it.
  11. Another bit of advice, do not sign up for a 8am class.
  12. A soldier is a soldier, in or out of uniform.
  13. It shouldn't be used in a first person view. Kind of defeats the purpose of it being in first person.
  14. I really wouldn't consider you to be an ass. At least you are gaining experience in the field. That's something.
  15. Since I am pretty much a socialist, more or less, I am voting Democrat.
  16. I'll rewrite that in English. Obsidian could really do with hiring some specialist optermization programmers, not to discredit the current tallent, but it almost seems like they don't use perf tools. I'm the sort of person who is very narky about performance of code, when I write code. I'm sure there is alot of perf code in there, but it just seems bizzare to me... I guess its just because I wish I could get in there and try and solve the problem... Not that I will have the chance, but we can dream. Maybe they should hire you.
  17. Where the hell did I say that? You meet a lot of different people on the bus, also when you move to an apartment you can take a good look aroudnt he neighborhood. Where I live it is in the Historical district of the town and they have a neighborhood society that one can join up and be a part of the community. Just because you live outside the dorms doesn't mean you are cutoff from people.
  18. That does not make any sort of sense. If you want to use current tech and style, thusly ditch the way the originals were done, how the hell are you making a true sequel to the past games? Its not that I am against them using all the new technology and different gaming styles that is found in today's games but its not Fallout. Just don't call it Fallout.
  19. Its the one gig that probably killed ya, Cant. NWN2 runs pretty fast on my system which is currently a single core 3ghz, 2 gig of RAM, and a Radeon x1900. I just can't wait to run MotB with a GeForce 9800!
  20. Maybe I should use the cattle prod more often. *tee hee*
  21. Good review and now I want the expansion even more. GIMMEE! GIMMEE! GIMMEE! GIMMEE! GIMMEE! GIMMEE! Just out of curiousity, what is your system specs?
  22. *zaps Cant with a cattle prod*
  23. It wasn't. By the end of the semester I wanted to rip out his major organs and decorate the room with them and lay out his skin as a welcome mat, then chuck his brain at this annoying math profession that droned on and on in a monotone voice while he was in the middle of his lecture. Grrr... Also there were people at my college would drive into the class room if they could get away with it and they lived in the freakin' dorms. Hmmm... I wanted to kill and main them to. I think I might have a lot of pent up aggression towards those people.
