  1. Its not that he can actually become a monk. *check alignment* Truthfully I think the bugger should be chaotic neutral.
  2. Well, I do like the graphics better than Oblivion. Does that work for you? :D
  3. I don't see the point given you can have up to 2 levels right in character creation though the tutorial much better than the one in the original NWN and I felt like I earned these levels instead of being given them in the first game.
  4. How the hell would that work with DnD style, stat based combat? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It can be done in PnP.
  5. Its all technobabble to me. I just set the game to medium settings and that is good enough for me.
  6. In the graphics options it doesn't list AA x2, x4, x6 and what not. Instead you can individual pick and choose your settings such as you could have AA relaxed and not used if you are zoomed clear out but if you zoom all the way in AA kicks in. Or vice versa.
  7. I think the problem here is that the level of graphic texture manipulation in the game option menus goes beyond simple AA x2, x4, x6 and what not. You can actual set multiple texture settings individually.
  8. It doesn't outright say AA but there are a number of graphic options. There is no HDR but there is Bloom which is good enough for me. HDR would kill my frame rate.
  9. Okay, I know I should laugh at the misfortune of others, but Kaftan that is hilarious. I feel your pain and I am laughing.
  10. Sofar I have come across less bugs than NWN 1 had when it was first released and had its first patch. Not saying it is bug fee mind you, but it is a very good start.
  11. I am really enjoying NWN 2. Its like a mix of IWD and BG using an updated NWN engine. I guess that is because it is. So far this game is getting a roll of 19 on the d20. Definitely a critical threat. When I first installed NWN 1 this is what I was expecting out of it.
  12. Well, I got two characters going. My tiefling Rogue/Warlock named Rosilyn Darque. Yeah, I know, but the name comes from a character before the Obsidian Forums and Killian Kalthorne, a Aasimar Paladin/Cleric.
  13. Depends on what you consider Mid Range. I have a pretty mid range system with a slightly better than mid range video card and sound card. I had to tone down the shadows a bit.
  14. I pretty much like everyone here. We are have one common bond. We are gamers. What isn't there to like about a gamer?
  15. Why would you want a consolized version? Get the real version, man!
  16. I like it a lot better than the NWN 1. As for bugs I haven't came across any but the controls. Whoah... The controls feels like a mixture of NWN and KotOR, with an expanded quick slot system. Very much expanded. ts getting me a bit to get use to them. I love the camera controls. Every game from this time on should mimic NWN 2's camera controls.
  17. I like the combat. It reminds me of real PnP style. Good for a game based on a PnP game.
  18. Review it with the current patch and go from there. Review it after you beaten the game though.
  19. So far I will say this about NWN 2. NWN 2 is the game I expected NWN 1 to be, minus the graphical goodness.
  20. BG2 was 4, 5 if you count the expansion.
  21. ...tell me 'bout it...were I ordered the LE from, they's sayin' 1-2 weeks...b@st@rdos!!!... ...WHO LUVS YA, BABY!!... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That is basically what Amazon told me so I told them off and canceled my order.
  22. A gimp? Nah! She's going to be kick arse!
  23. Seven discs? Glad I got the DVD version.
