  1. It depends when Iran launches its missiles at Israel and NK launching theirs at Japan or Alaska.
  2. Damn straight. I have no sympathy for those who break the law nor any sympathy for murderers.
  3. It makes sure that the killer doesn't get the chance to make more victims.
  4. Take a look at human history, Weiser. We have been killing each other over for silly things and we still are killing each other over crap that is ultimately meaningless. We are a self destructive and loathsome race with very little redeeming qualities. We discriminate against those who we deem "different." We kill at the slightest provocation, using excuses to justify our actions. We seek personal gain over the welfare of our brethren. We are destructive to the environment we live in. As a whole, humanity sucks.
  5. That is just one example, but yes.
  6. I rather protect the rights of the victim than the rights of the killer. This man, without thought or real provocation, killed his child. He deserves death.
  7. Death penalty is not murder. Murder is a killing unsanctioned by the ruling government. The death penalty and execution that is sanctioned by the government is what is needed in this case. A person who has a total disregard for life that he or she would kill a child deserves no consideration. The death penalty is a solution. It removes the individual from society, permanently. Torture on the other hand is repugnant and a waste of time. 2 to 3 9mm bullets into the brain would suffice and more cost effective.
  8. Pixie... On a stick...
  9. Sometimes its fake. Sometimes it is not. I found it both horrible and funny at the same time. Its one of those "smack behind the head" moments.
  10. We will see. when it is released, won't we.
  11. Now, this is funny. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061214/ap_on_...dependence_hoax
  12. Only if and when it comes to the PC. They caught me with JE but they won't get me with ME.
  13. The only one that matters to me are the PC non-mmorpg titles.
  14. The problem here, Riftworm, is that NWN1 and NWN2 are two very different games. NWN1 was a hack and slash Diablo styled game with a very light story to it while NWN2 is a very much a Story Driven game more akin to the KotOR series than the first NWN.
  15. Nah, my halfling monk is doing quite well so far. With her current gear and development she has up to 29 AC. By the time I get to Lorne with her I am betting it will be above 30. Also I have been maxing out parry and tumble, and I plan on getting improved parry with her. When complete naked, well as naked as the Amish allows in public, she has an armor class of 20. That with the falming gloves she can put the smack down on anyone within a few rounds. Currently she has an attack spread of +16/+16/+11 with flurry of blows.
  16. Yeah, I just wished we had more IE control for the party. I really miss it in the newer games.
  17. Stories are meant to go forward, not backwards.
  18. Party control in NWN2 is far inferior to the Infinity Engine games but it is also far superior to the KotORs and NWN1.
  19. As far as I am concerned Fallout is dead. Fallout ended with Fallout 2. All other fallout games that came after or will come after is just crap that is best ignored.
  20. It has nothing to do with that to me. I hate prequels in general. You start the story at its starting point. If you use a flashbacks heavily that often means you need to start the story earlier. It is basic story telling 101. You start at the beginning where the story and characters are relevant and move on from there.

  22. That is a good question but I will tell you this much, if someone shows up at my store drunk and wants to buy alcohol I will refuse the person the sale and if he or she was driving I will call the cops on him or her.
  23. Hey, in one of my PnP games I had a Lawful Good Paladin serial killer going around. Yes, he was vanquishing evil, and killing what he deemed as evil, all according to his alignment and beliefs but it went against the ideals and values of the party, who themselves had a LG monk, as well as the city government. Man, that was a kickass fight. In the end the paladin was slain and his holy avenger shattered.
  24. That looks like my missing screwdriver! GIVE THAT BACK!
