  1. If I got a Wii and this happened to me all I would ask for is a new television of similar make and model I had before and a new remote. I don't see the point of being greedy.
  2. Well, I wouldn't say that, but it is Nintendo's idea to go for the more unorthodox controller yet failed to realize that some people really get into their games. They should have foreseen this sort of thing happening.
  3. As long as Nintendo pays for the remote and the damages done, no more and no less, then all is good. I have to agree on Volourn on this one.
  4. If the criminal repeats the crime then he or she needs to be removed from society. The revolving door prison needs to end. The purpose of government is to protect and govern law abiding citizens. Those who break the law needs to be punished and punished severely. It isn't about teaching prisoners or sending them to rehab. It is about punishing the criminal, not supporting the criminal. It is the fault of the criminal who commits the crime not the victim nor the government.
  5. That happened 65 million years ago!
  6. HELL FREAKING NO! I would like to see KotOR3 to be more like NWN2 or ToEE. A CRPG that stays close to the PnP rules system
  7. Um... What happened on 1/22/06?
  8. Even life without parole is still a life that the victim did not get.
  9. It has nothing to do with telling the future or being godlike. It is about justice. There is only one punishment that is just in a case involving murder and that is execution. You kill someone therefore your own life is forfeit.
  10. Would the world be better off without a murderer killing people? Yes, it would.
  11. After one year's time we shall see which system is tops, Wii, PS3, or XBox 360. From what I have heard so far Wii and the PS3 have better backwards compatibility than XBox 360.
  12. Here is my current desktop. Isn't he handsome! HA!
  13. I won't touch G3. Hated G2 and I feel that I will hate G3 even more.
  14. Morality means nothing if one does not survive to like a moral life. Survival is meaningless and empty if one does not use a moral compass to guide him or herself in order to make decisions. I choose both.
  15. You haven't played Fallout this year? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, yes, but I am only counting new games in that statement. :D
  16. NWN2 is hands down the best CRPG I have played this year.
  17. The problem with Life without Parole is the fact the bugger is still alive and may have a chance to escape confinement, and thusly continuing his crime. It is best to execute such people so that society is assured that individual will not escape and/or commit further capital offenses. We need however streamline the process of execution so it can take place within 5 years of sentence. I agree that due process needs to done but it goes at a snails pace and not very efficient.
  18. I have a strong belief in punishing the guilty with harsh sentences. The revolving door prison system that we have in the US benefits no law abiding citizen, period.
  19. That is why we need reformation in the justice system regarding the death penalty. It should be more cost effective in executing a convicted murderer. Also our prison system needs a major overhaul as well. They are too soft.
  20. The practical point is that these individuals will not kill again nor take up resources to house and feed them till they expire by natural causes.
  21. It depends when Iran launches its missiles at Israel and NK launching theirs at Japan or Alaska.
  22. Damn straight. I have no sympathy for those who break the law nor any sympathy for murderers.
  23. It makes sure that the killer doesn't get the chance to make more victims.
  24. Take a look at human history, Weiser. We have been killing each other over for silly things and we still are killing each other over crap that is ultimately meaningless. We are a self destructive and loathsome race with very little redeeming qualities. We discriminate against those who we deem "different." We kill at the slightest provocation, using excuses to justify our actions. We seek personal gain over the welfare of our brethren. We are destructive to the environment we live in. As a whole, humanity sucks.
