It is possible because Bioware, making an assumption here, placed "plot tags" on the character file. At each major plot tage it records what the character did. When the character is transfered the plot tags are read by the game and adjust accordingly. Bioware is pulling a Peter Jackson-LotR style production when it comes to the ME triogy.

That is why Feargus and crew kick so much ass. Not only do they have the skill to make great games, but also the business savvy to hook themselves into some surefire hits to bring in capital to do a game like Alpha Protocol. If Obsidian started with their own IP first I think they would have gone under after AP, even if it is a hit, due to the vast sums of money it costs to keep a studio open.

Never played Witcher. I tend to like CRPGs in which I can create my own character unless they have a very phenomenal story behind it. PS:T level of quality.

Why do you sound so surprised? Actually, Archie, Bioware has stated that we will be playing Shepherd through ME2 and ME3. You will be able to transfer your character over to the next two games and the decisions you made in the previous game will effect story aspects in the sequels.

Who knows at this point. They haven't shown any gameplay video as of yet.

The graphics looks as good as ME, Mkreku, which isn't bad in my book. It simply looks ly they had film grain and blur on. With those two options on with ME you get the same basic effect.

NWN2 works for me. ME for the PC doesn't. NWN2's patch can be delayed all Obsidian wants. I do like to be able to play ME on my PC, however, and get everything that was advertise on the box that it is suppose to have.

Don't forget the DRM and severe bug problems that the PC version of Mass Effect suffers, add to the fact that the so called "included" DLC is no where to be found.

You are right, Volourn. Bioware owes its fanbase nothing, nothing but their livelihood by buying all their past games which has kept them in business. If they keep this up, continuing to piss off the fanbase, the majority of their fanbase will leave them thusly lower sales. Anyhoot, I was expecting this level of bull from Bioware. It doesn't surprise me in the least that they have no compunctions in treating thier fans like ****.

What gets me is that Australia was founded by criminals and castoffs. They shouldn't be banning Fallout 3. They should be celebrating it in its full glory. The US, being founded by Puritans, should be the ones banning it. The US and Australia are getting it ***-backwards!

Typical Bioware overhyping at its finest. After all the Mass Effect problems are having, along with the DLC and DRM fiasco, and now Bioware pulls this with Dragon Age. Yeah, whatever. Its just not worth getting mad at them. It is to be expected. I am wondering how many people can the ban-hammer over there because of this.

TO be honest I was trying not to guess or trying to figure it out. Each time I try to figure out a plot or twist in a story or in a game I just ruin the surprise for me. After KotOR 2 I decided instead of analyzing the game as I play it I just play it.
