How are ultima underworlds or the tes series different from this? They aren't, which is why they're shooters too. You use the keyboard to move, the mouse to look around and it's in first person, it's a goddamn FPS, just deal with it man.

The worst game I've ever bought, at least recently, would be Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales. 20 minutes in and I knew I would never play it again. That'll teach me to make an impulse buy.

I didn't use stealth much, but I was occasionally able to sneak up behind folks and use the knife for a one hit takedown. I took out much of the Freedom camp doing that.

My google search tells me a viper 5 is a cricket bat. Huzzah for cricket bat based attacks! Like many other game Stalker doesn't use the weapons real names. The viper 5, I believe, is actually the mp5. I'm another who likes my game weapons, be they melee or firearms, to be realistic, rather than looking like a toy or something from a cartoon.

All the other endings involve the , and the depends on different things, for example if you have you get the ending.

I don't agree with the idea that the player must triumph over every situation they find themselves in. I thought Ms Caliban's examples of SH and CoC were good ones. When encountering Pyramid Head in SH or getting out of the hotel in the beginning of CoC, the only option is to run, and the player who reloads 5000 times because they feel the need to "win" this particular battle should be put into a rocket and flown into the sun.

Games are luxury items, so calling people who buy them selfish seems kinda redundant.

^ Haha! That was great. When I met mister mind bender the second time I ran right up to him and emptied a clip into his face. He stops doing his attack when you get within a certain range.

Anything involving original characters being replaced by clones is just blergh.

I agree with Mr Terminator Bear. I've played through III, VC and SA multiple times. In fact I'm itching to play SA again right now...

I loved the movie, the sequel, not so much.

I run the game at 1600x1200 with everything but AA maxed (AA set to 2x) without a problem. And that's with photoshop, firefox and AVG running. It's nice and smooth except when it does that slight pause when loading or whatever it's doing. My system: Athlon 64 X2 4200 2GB of RAM 7950 GX2 Anyway, I just completed the game, and I got what must be the "crap" ending. I rushed through not doing the non-essential stuff, so I'll do the opposite next time around. For those that know, Duty or Freedom?

Thanks. I do think my taste in movies and TV shows (although I almost never watch TV nowadays) is good too though; naturally. My taste in games isn't crash hot I agree. But that is because I'm not much of a gamer. Never have been. You do have Deus Ex listed, which is the right answer.

It doesn't seem right only if we assume that what we already know about the Cylons is the truth, such as there being human models for a short time. Oh, and no one know if the fourth season will be the final one.

Senior Adama can be quite hard on his son, and Junior opposes him out of spite. There is nothing unrealistic about that (though I can't speak from personal experience, I like my dad )and I don't think it's bad writing at all. The fact that they are both military doesn't mean much, they've both proven in the past that they let their emotions get the better of them and are willing to bend or break the rules if it's what they want. Lee and Bill are both hypocrites.

Last I heard a tv movie would be bridging the gap between season 3 and 4. As for season 4 only having 13 episodes, I don't mind at all. Season 1 only had 13. Less filler.

From an article I read linked from the IMDB, it seems there are as many people saying this movie is pro-Bush/America as there are saying it's anti-Bush/America. As much as people like to claim that the films political agenda is obvious, they can't both be right, so yeah, people are seeing what they want to see.

^ the writer has never claimed he doesn't deal with real world issues, he simply denies the claims that he's trying to push some political agenda.
