  1. I remember ditching AVG a couple years ago, when it started detecting programs like BioShock and Crysis as viruses, and then erasing them
  2. Do tell, I think I'm in the same boat right now
  3. Both expansions sucked cuz they're non-canon, but Perseus Mandate felt like a really crappy mod and playing it was less fun than eating a booger sandwitch
  4. Just cuz current machines can't max it out, doesn't mean poor coding. It's just waiting for cards with 1.5-2GB RAM to finish it off. Don't mistake future proofing with bad coding. The Xbox 360 does not play it at the maximum PC settings believe it or not and it's sliders are actually set in the 15's and 20's. GTA 4 runs really smooth for me @ 2560 res with everything set to very high and sliders set on slightly above xbox 360 settings. Have you played the port? Clearly not, unless you consider objects stop rendering after 40 mins of playing and memory leaks 'good' coding. Read my post again bro

  6. Sorry but modern games will need more powah
  7. Yes they are, but they cost at least 3x-10X the price of a console... If you would have wife, mortgage on house and two small children you would reconsider every single $ to release from your grasp The machine posted by Rhomal is not a high end PC, and same PC setup if not homemade, would cost you much much more... Only enthusiasists and people who has technical friends are building their own PCs... all others just buy Dell, HP, whatever vendorbuild machines with Intel IGP and are then confused why they new games are running slow... And enthusiasists do not buy PC for $600... I never ever purchased PC under 1500 EUR and every single PC i ever bought was made by myself... You got that right, I mean my current PC was built in 2006, but I must have put another $10,000 into it since then
  8. High-end PCs now are 12x faster than current gen consoles, and probably still faster than any next-gen console
